Oh. My. God. I always thought this song would lend itself nicely to a choral arrangement, but this is beyond anything I could have imagined. I've got chills (and tears.) Bravo, gentlemen. Bravo.
Really respectful of the tune, this treatment shows an awareness of what a melodic vehicle the song truly is. Gilmour is the kind to get chills with the rest of us, at this performance...and it is to his credit.

This is a great rendition of a masterpiece. Excellent expression , tone, and pitch. Thank You for posting this, from a fellow musician, who loves to play and hear Pink Floyd. The harmonies are a compliment to the song as it was written.

@@ingvaldkarlsson5270 I have 2 opinions on this great song....1 How people turn there backs on the homeless,and just get on to there day to day life(much more beneath the surface to trueley explain.And 2 THE GOVERNMENT......and how especially conservatives overlook the unfortunate parts of society.....TBH you would be better off asking DAVE.

One of the finest performances of this arrangement I've seen. Fennell's opening (and the audience's quiet) respects the role this song has played in some of UVA's most challenging moments. Would love to have the other members of the solo quartet identified--I can't make them out in the video.
Also, I hate to quibble, but Dave Fouché was the original soloist, and it's his arrangement.
