Just remember when you see 70 year old people or more, we had the best music. Ok we were probably off our heads but we enjoyed it.
74, dead right there, the best.
Led Zeppelin is my favorite band I'm 41 and nothing beats it. 70's best music ever
Well I certainly was, and I did ;-))
we sure did
I am into my late 60's and still have hair down to my waist..... no bald spot either, so one of the lucky ones. Been a blues/rock musician for 40 plus years, while having a very successful career as a restaurateur and chef in London. I am now retired in the country with my horses, but I think they are probably going deaf because of my serious music system. My neighbours often hear Led Zep at serious decibels blasting out from my house, even as far as 2 or 3 miles away from me. Long live the memory of greatest band ever to grace this planet with their presence.
They were absolutely MAGNIFICENT!!! The 4 most talented musicians ever!!! They never played anything the same way!! Total improvation!
*improvisation 😙
Still amazing after 50 years.... My goodness... Nothing close since.
No rock band, in spite of so many incredible bands over the years, has ever come close to the brilliance that was Led Zeppelin. The greatest band ever to grace the planet.
That's a blisteringly fast bass line Jones kept up for a long time during the jam, and Bonham's drum work is spectacular. Wow.
Arguably the best classic rock band of all time. MORE! MORE! MORE!
Not arguably, they ARE the best rock band of all time.
Led Zep, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath.
I just float from one to the other.
You'll get no argument from 77 y/o me!
@@redreuben5260 Cream are also on my list.
That tune is what is affectionally called an "eargasm"!
They were jamming. They never played songs the same way twice. They were ALL incredible musicians and would simply blast off and go all over the universe. INCREDIBLE chemistry between them. They were a single organism
when i was learning Since ive been loving you, a while ago now, i came across 9 different versions
@@sukonmiskunk5696 There is a Japanese guy Mr Jimmy. Has spent a lifetime learning Page's techniques and playing. When on stage he never plays the studio version of any Zep songs. Has about 6 versions of this one alone. I think the longest version he plays is around 25 mins
@@glenchapman3899 yeah ive seen that guy, he is amazing. Note perfect.. even with the violin bow
Even with the dominant guitar and vocals, never forget the best drummer ever, John Bonham.
(and Neil Peart)
Never forgotten.
Bonham at his best!!!! Rip🙏🙏🎶gone but never forgotten❤️❤️
Four greatest musicians God ever made.
"Organized chaos".....a perfect description.
It’s hard to believe all that came from only 4 guys isn’t it? God blessed us with the privilege of hearing it.
Four guys and at this time two of them were barely 20
I wouldn't use Led Zeppelin in the same sentence as God
@@Mark-er7zd then don’t
Greatest Band Ever
You were baptized with the golden water of Led Zeppelin. Amen!
3 of the greatest musicians to ever walk the earth and then throw in the best vocalist of all time, this is what you get
Sarah, I have been observing your reactions to numerous bands from the 1960s/70s and I have come to the conclusion that you were born in the wrong decade! You would have been the perfect companion to see a concert by Led Zeppelin, Grateful Dead, or any number of different bands of those days. I saw many, many concerts in the 1970s and when I see your wonderful reactions, you take me back to that time!
I was thinking the same thing. Sarah knows great music.
I've been thinking the same thing since the first reaction of Sarah's I watched.
Meine Güte 😂
The right reaction to Led Zeppelin. I loved it in the 1970s as a teenager and still do.
Sarah. I bet you’ve not seen anyone play a guitar with a cello bow before !!!! Sheer genius
Jimmy really went off and went off on own. I think band lost sight of him a few times. Robert made a few bids to get in there, but Page wasn’t having it. He was in a different space and they could only trust him to bring it back.
This isn’t my favorite version of this song, but it’s the most impressive demonstration of musician trust you only see with the best Jazz Players.
This was Page’s 19:53 Miles Davis moment.
Take the zeppelin journey my dear you won't regret it
Rock n Roll Opera and Symphony all in one.😎🎸🎸🎸🎸.
The greatest of all time and the greatest reaction ever. They could take you for a trip around the Galaxy and back.
Till this day, people still admire them not only as rock musicians, but musicians as a whole! True pioneers, whose music serves as an inspiration for the next generations!
What absolutely incredible musicians they were. Mind blowing.
Great reaction...and that is why they are considered the greatest rock band ever...one massive jam session!
"organized chaos" . Great point!
Led Zeppelin, one of THE best bands ever!
Sorry THE best band ever😎
It was so much fun watching you react. Just imagine how it was for us seeing them live. I am sooo fortunate to have seen them.
it is jaw dropping, even after all this time.. what a performance
Each of their concerts were different, other then the basic ground of the song, the solos were improvised. This concert night was Jimmy’s birthday, the vest he was wearing, either his mom or grandmother made for him. These guys definitely are geniuses, & all their music is amazing. Thank you for your reaction.
I was fortunate to see Led Zeppelin, not once, but twice!
I’ve been to many concerts back in the day, but these guys probably have been my favorite artists that I have ever seen live.
Please listen to the studio version. The whole album is awesome.
Yes
The GOAT's,,,💥💥💥👍😎
Your reaction was FANTASTIC. 🔥🤘
Thanks 💯
I`m Crying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! To COOL!
What's really mind blowing is all that came from just 3 men with instruments and 1 with the voice of a god. All improvised on the spot.
Jones and Bonham are locked together like the parts of an engine on this one. Just watch them. It's relentless.
Your reaction is Priceless!
John Paul Jones' bass playing was incredible here
The improvised parts aren’t rehearsed, yet they all are right there together.
*there*
Sarah, check out the first song on their first album. The first notes that they ever played for the world. HUGE! They were the first band to ever fill stadiums for a reason.
Don't disagree with the sentiment. but the first band to play stadiums AND fill them was The Beatles.
Best Rock band ever. I miss Zepp 😢
NOBODY was ready for it
A yes Sarah- Even more impressive Live, I can attest to this. Perhaps teh highlight of one of the best concert going events of all time. A magnificent band at the peak of their blistering power.
A concert I will never forget but year…75 or 6. I have to say that John Paul Jones on bass is tearing the shit out of his guitar on this song. This original version on vinyl is much different from live. Led Zeppelin had total music control freedom over their music producers. I still own all their albums along with Pink Floyd and so many more. 60’s thru the 80’s was some of the best music that kids today are doing remakes of.😎
I got to watch them do this in St Louis Missouri in 1977. The world felt so fun and free then. Love your reactions!
❤❤❤Robert ❤❤❤
Jimmy Page was in God mode! I have seen Zep twice and seen them play Dazed and Confused differently both times and both times just blowing me away as probably greatest musicians just totally cranked out.
That’s some dope smokin’ music right there 🤘😎
It's as it happened on the night, never the same!
The Golden Gods of Rock 'N Roll.
And let's not forget bonzo on the drums
John Paul Jones is playing like he's got the Holy Ghost!
Imagine being in the audience there in London in 1972!
Maybe a typo, but just for the record, this was 1970.
@@oldzephead1237 You are correct. This is at the Royal Albert Hall in London 1970. They sing Whole Lotta Love in this concert as well. I knew I made a mistake when I typed 1972. I turned seven years old in 1970. I have been listening to Zeppelin since I was in high school.
@@varunagoonasekera7329 Hey, I appreciate the reply. Yep, RAH '70 is hands down my favorite show. I'm older, but I've been a fan from the very beginning. There are just so many of us lifelong fans. They are incredible, and IMHO they are the greatest band ever. ☮️
@@oldzephead1237 Black Sabbath as well. War Pigs is a fantastic song and video. Rush from Canada☮
My favourite Zeppelin track. 50 +yrs still my fave❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🎶🎶🎶🎶Bonham on TOP FORM!!!!!!
For context you should listen to the studio version, that was played on the radio.. almost completely different song. great reaction young lady!
Best bass line ever
inspiration is 90% perspiration. talent is 90% correct practice.
Growing up in the 70's, No Social Media, No Mobile Phones, No Broad Band and we had to put up with bands like Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd!..... Oh wait that was supposed to make you young guys feel sorry for us oldies! 😂😂😂
😂 I'm 64...don't feel bad for me!!!
We were lucky to have them for a long as we did... but God, how great to have had a few more years of this massivel talelnt.
Dazed and Confused is my favourite song from Led Zeppelin it came from their first album. The music critics said that they would crash like a lead balloon so they named themselves Led Zeppelin.
* Keith Moon of the band The Who , named them .
Sensational music on all levels. A great antidote to banality.
I absolutely bow to these gents. Ty for reaction! Love your channel.😊
LOL great description "organized chaos"
Because of performances like this is why they ruled the 1970's and became one of the greatest bands of all time. I was 12 when I first heard Zepp and sound just as good at 54!
Thanks!
Thank you Stan! Very much appreciated 👏
You are very welcome Sarah
I have just turned 70 and I first heard this off their first album when I was 16 everyone did of my age, you kids of today don’t realise what you miss today!!! You really have to listen to the studio version of all the Led Zep music then you can appreciate what they do!!
The GOATS…PERIOD🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great reaction thank you. Imagine seeing them in person playing for hours. They had a unique connection between each other. I think we are all bestowed gifts from God, but few discover them. You have over 150k subscribers you have a gift doing this.
the guitarist was an artist, who painted in music! :) big love to all people :D
The greatest !
That tape delay on Jimmy is fantastic!!! John's bass is so pronounced and Robert Plant's vocals are so clear. John Bonham just killed it.
The first song I heard of Led Zep that hook me to them "Dazed and Confused"
Aah saw them live in the early 70’s they played this, my first gig, and still a highlight
Oh my goodness, this was so much fun to watch with you. I haven’t seen this in years! Loved your unbridled squeals of joy!!🤘🏻🎧🤟🏼 BTW I’ve enjoyed your wonderful reactions for a couple of years… i think starting with Pink Floyd Echoes and YES Close to the Edge. Keep rockin’ !
A truly mind-blowing amount of improvisation in this version. Amazing how differently they do the same tunes. This version is many minutes longer, with the incredible improv by Jimmy Paige.
When you screamed at around 8 minutes ...haha Brilliant! You have a great voice. Well done!
It gets you deep down inside
Everything is pure talent
Fortunately had the pleasure of seeing them in concert. 1977 Tour and the premium ticket price of $9.50 US. Bands actually use to make all their money from album sales. Touring was at best a break even proposition
You're the first UA-cam reactor to do the live version of this classic song and I see that you had a great time listening to it. You will enjoy Since I've Been Loving You by Led Zeppelin as well the Live Version is the best..... You've gained a new subscriber .
Sarah Dengler, Thank you for these frickin fond memories !
Saw them live in Seattle at the tail end of their 2 year world tour , March 1975. Watching them live back then still brings tears to my eyes. Absolute GODS they were!
Everyone’s eyes are Page Plant and JPJ but overlook the powerhouse that is driving this masterpiece - John Bonham RIP 12:49 - solid rock and roll. He makes this what it is, Great reaction Sarah. I’d to see you at this concert. You’d have been dancing 10 foot
No one can overlook John Henry
I loved watching the deep joy with which you experienced!(not merely listened t 16:11 o) this incredible performance. It just made my nearly 70 yr old Zeppelin lovin' heart happy!
People forget the 70’s rock bands usually had a background and started in the Blues.
I hope those that are judges, were there during these days actually got to see many of the bands from the sixties and seventies because it was all so fricking incredible. I loved them all, never want to line them up. You had to be there because this was the time, the best time ever ❤️✌🏼☯️☀️
Pure genius what else can you say 👌
Just an excellent band. Stay safe young lady.
You stay safe.yourself.
@@grosbeak6130you too grosbeak
One of the best bands ever!
This just goes to prove that no matter where you come from or where you are in life music is ageless and knows no bounds. I love seeing the way you react to this song The Way I reacted when I first heard it more than 50 years ago
they were masters of improvisation
2:41 this is what we all came for. Huh? What did he say?
Only Robert Plant could stand to Page when he's in that mood. Love those onstage battles they had, it's part of them .That's the thing with Page, he puts beauty and chaos in your mind simultaneously, just like the Gods of old.
Wouldn't mind dancing next to this lady, she can dance. Watched it twice, great vid cheers.
Your reaction is spot on - they are so connected that it seams that they could do just about anything on stage.
I'm 72 and saw Zep 8 times in Houston Tx.
Jimmy's wearing a vest knitted by his mum for his B-day, with her in the audience!
The studio version is better imo, Sarah, but this was fun.
I saw them four times and every time they do days and confused they jam in the middle and it's never been done the same twice
You may be the only reaction to this version from the royal albert hall , which is simply one of the best versions.
Been to quite a few concerts in the 70's/80's and remember Zeppelin was the first act I saw which had no PA (public address) speakers - on/on sides - of the stage. Everything was suspended on a HUGE rig above them including the lights with several seats for lighting technicians to aim the spots. There wasn't a bad seat in the house as this stage set-up was designed for seating to be available 360* around the stage.
I can feel your joy, thank you for your reactions!
I'm distantly related to Page, and love this band!
No explanations needed. All you have to do is listen to more LZ
