The Mauseleom was not to be the permanent home. Charlie Finley in the 70's tried to move to Denver. Oakland has never wanted to make the coliseum one sport friendly. It is a football venue that sucks at that. The bay has always struggled with baseball when the Giants are up, the A's are not except 89 and then nature tried to kill the series.
Take a look at this article. It's kind of a long read, but it seems like staying in Oakland was definitely an option. It just came down to the owners never really wanting to stay in Oakland from the beginning. www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/38913160/owners-vote-shows-oakland-move-money-not-fans
Globe life new dome sucks. Itscthe worst move back to Ball.park.on Arlington in 20 years. Its only thing that makes sense. That barn.is Trppicana west.
I went there. Sure it’s ugly, but everything from the seating to the concessions were centralized and easily accessible. Plus, those 93 degree night games were brutal at the old ballpark
you mean the las vegas raider games where half the attendees are for the visiting team? (i KNEW that would happen after a few years, and low & behold; it has)
I think Fisher must have bought off Nevada because from everything I heard, Vegas was less than pleased with taking a baseball team like the A's. Vegas wanted an expansion franchise. Inheriting the Fisher group is nothing but bad news for Vegas, just look at the Raiders.
Remember the Raiders are bringing in more visitor fans then an home team fans. Vegas is nothing more then a tourist and will bring in more visitors fans
Not a thing they can do about it. If I were fans in the Oakland area...just forget going to games. Stop paying that jack-ass their money just to watch them leave for Las Vegas. Sorry state of affairs but money walks and talks...way of the world.
I respect the fans of the A's but there is literally NOTHING A's fans can do. Don't waste your money, don't reverse boycott as that only makes the move easier for Fisher and you a LOT poorer. Oakland is better off letting the parasite go.
Great job on the videos! You got my sub. Keep it up!

The Oakland Government was very clear that they would not be getting a new stadium. I don't see how they can survive without moving.

I imagine there were upset A's fans when the team left Philadelphia. I remember there were when they departed Kansas City.
I am.sickened by Athletics owner. Its not terrible its not taken care of.
When they get talent, Vegas will welcome them like the Raiders. Remember this video in a couple when they have the NEW stadium and relevant again.

Crime, price disparity, and local family makeup make the As and Rangers comparison unfair. As owner is terrible, but the city of Oakland is worse.
I never knew they still had fans. Face it Oakland makes Frisco look clean .It sits on a fault line. Oakland has nothing going for it.Zero. Hell minus.
Reminds me of karmonos when he was in hartford
Dont put a heart on this comment
