Modern Giancarlo Stanton is hard to watch on the bases… or just in general.
I hear he’s not allowed to sprint because his body is so fragile that it’d result in too much injury risk
Money makes u weigh more than u world normally
I can never forgive Hanley Ramirez because he blew Clayton Kershaw's perfect game on a simple ground ball to short.
Also, you should have mentioned Andruw Jones. Signs a 2-year, $36 million dollar contract with the Dodgers. Shows up in 2008 out of shape and overweight. Does little to nothing to improve that and massively underperforms for the season. Eventually gets placed on the disabled list and gets released by the Dodgers before the 2009 season. Then proceeds to blame the lack of fan support for his underperformance.
Fernando Tatis was a stud until he left St Louis when he became a lazy bum. The man just didn't want to play or do anything.
He had a patellar injury.
@@eduardopena5893 He was lazy as hell.
@@JP-wx6uh He looked good with the Orioles when he played for them.
I played men's hard ball during a summer and my teammates said, "Manny played Left Field. You'd think Hanley good. Apparently not."
As a native from Puerto Cabello is kinda sad seeing 2 players from the same city on this list, both pablo and carlos had a lot of impact on local little leagues when they were playing at their peak
Losing the drive and passion to play the game is a lot different than being lazy. Not to mention that if the one example of laziness is not wanting to do physical therapy then that feels like a huge stretch to me.
Dude… Pete Rose’s nickname was Charlie Hustle! You even come back around to mention hustle at the 30 second mark. File under: You Can’t Catch Them All.
Nobody played the game like Pete, he should be in the Hall of Fame.
Carlton Fisk was also a tough, hustling player, even though he never had Rose's wheels. I still remember when he yelled at Deion Sanders to leg out a weak grounder and bellowed at him all the way to first.
Manny got the bag and turned back into Old Manny...
Hanley screwing up kershaw's perfect game will forever be etched in my mind.
Since I hate ALL things Kershaw and Dodgers, it's one of my fondest memories!
@@kendallevans4079 Not a baseball fan, huh?
@@lovelessissimo Fan since 1974.
@@kendallevans4079 No, you may have watched baseball since 74, but if you can't appreciate the phenomenal spectacle of a perfect game, then you aren't really a baseball fan at all. Mindlessly hoping one team wins over another, with no understanding of what is even happening in front of you.
@@lovelessissimo Are you describing yourself? I bet you don't know what a balk is? Showing off your ignorance by being a fan of Kershaw only shows how vapid and superficial you are. BTW: Were you even alive in 1974? Doesn't sound like it
why did you delete all of your compilation videos? I appreciate the essay videos tho
Stop adding that emphasis to the last word of every single sentence lol. It gets so irritating.
lmfao was just thinking this as i was listening and this is the first comment i see. it's horrible to listen to
I didn't notice. Until I read this comment, now I can't unhear it
I didn't notice it before, but after listening to it again, it is a bit annoying.
It's super annoying
Damn -- pretty harsh on Pete Rose. He bet on his own team. BFD.
Yeah and the whole sleeping with underage girls thing BFD
with a gambling ad in the video too
were you his bookie? loooolz
I would love to see a most non lazy players in baseball history. Or even just modern day works.
I second this!
Please make a “hardest workers” in MLB video
@@papillonvu That would be a good one. From Fielding To Baserunnjng. Hustle. What they do outside the field. Would be a great video.
Mike Piazza, Pete Rose and Dustin Pedroia have to be on that list
I see the Angels a lot. On routine ground balls, Mike Trout never dogs it to first base.
I agree, especially if you DON'T limit it to great players. For example, Bobby Meacham was an also-ran, .236 career hitter with no power and not good in the field either. But damn the dude hustled. If he hit a grounder to the pitcher, he was out of the box faster than Usain Bolt sprinting out every 4th inning ground ball like it was a track and field final.
George Hendrick was notorious for his lack of effort with the Pirates.
Both Cano and Sandoval can now be lazy while playing in the new Qatar baseball league LOL
LOVE your videos but could you please do SOMETHING about the undulating tone in each of your STATEMENTS? It gets OLD real QUICK!
-William Shatner
The Sandoval Belt Burst 😂
I loved Young on the Tigers
0:12, I too would sprint after being walked by Nolan Ryan, because I know I am not reaching base any other way
Pete Rose needs to be in the HOF period if shoeless joe is in there. So should be the the player with most hits in Major league baseball history. Remember Pete never bet against the Reds to lose only to win. Big fucking deal
Pete Rose IS a role model and he got a raw deal from the MLB.
Sammy Sosa. Just stood in one spot in RF to the point that he ground a spot of bare dirt in the field
Then the Orioles traded for him.
His first order of business when arriving in Baltimore? Calling the owner to complain about the limo they sent to pick him up from the airport.
Second order of business? He sneezed and threw out his back to end up on the DL.
dude said ' barely playing left field ' lol 🤣
I couldn't finish watching. It's good but raises my anxiety and anger. Now I NEED Dr. Phil, a Xanax, and a double vodka tonic.
I did tap the thumbs up 👍 button to feed the algorithm monsters.
Who is the cf at 1:11?
Manny "I'm not exactly Johnny Hustle out there," Machado.
I'd be ok being fat and still making millions a year.
I'm fat right now and make nothing.
Needs more Yuniesky Bentancourt
I like the videos but the inflection in your narrating is so monotonous it becomes very distracting... I had a struggle with this as well and i recommend some speaking classes and groups. Toast masters is a good one. 👍
THIS.
relax, Karen.
The fact that Adam Dunn and Alfanso Soriano could roll out of bed and have that good a career actually make them better.
Zambrano is weird lazy lol. When he was on the field, he was such a firey competitor
stop TALKING like THAAAT
I guess you could say, they didn't make the cut
I really wanted to watch this video, but they way end sentances is SO irritating.
maybe you're the problem, fucking zoomers.

Could have added Barry Bonds, Giancarlo Stanton, Keith Hernandez, Josh Donaldson, and Gary Sanchez this list. Stanton doesn't even run hard on the basepaths in playoff games.
Wish Aramis Ramirez would get called out on these. No hustle, lazy defense unless it was a contract year, opted not to play in an all star game when he had the chance, and bought a ticket home before game 7 of the 2003 NLCS.
Change title to The Slobs of Baseball.
0:15 Ohhhhh I understand know. I thought people meant actually sprinting. Not, uh, this leisurely trot
I believe Ole Georgie just got bored with the game how many have his life time batting average ? He enjoyed life too much.

Gary Sanchez has been a decent contributor to the Brewers so far this season, on offense and on defense.
Hustle. That's why I like guys like David Eckstein.
Pete Rose is an absolute legend and the fact that he's STILL not in the Hall of Fame is an absolute travesty.

Shocked Chris Davis isn't on here. He got caught lying about seeking coaching for his struggles and then told the press he wasn't to try to change his approach at the plate.
Got caught taking PEDS, got called out for half-butting it on a pop fly in foul territory by Brandon Hyde and Davis blew his stack and wanted to fight his manager. Was more upset about somebody talking about him not actually doing that work than he was about not doing the work. Then came up with a mysterious hip injury to finally retire. I think the Orioles are still paying him until 2037 thanks to the stupid contract Angelos signed him to.
Hey man, your content is pretty good, but your narration needs a lot of work. You end every sentence with the same rising cadence and it is extremely distracting. I made it about six minutes into the video before I’d had enough.
I will say that Delmon Young was clutch for the O's in 2014.
Crazy that hes not even 40 now, he was supposed to be the world for the rays and his contact/clutch was insane when he was healthy.
Pete Rose didn't sprint to first when he walked, he ran. Brandon Nimmo sprints to 1B when he walks.

As a longtime player, there is a 90% chance that ump earned that bat
holy moly, an intro for the intro that transitions into an intro all of which was like two sentences long, just to transitionb into an ad. gross
I think playing in Boston brought out the worst in Sandoval. He probably overate to cope with stress and the Boston fans and media can be brutal.
No he just plain sucked the fat one
