Very good advice. I started wearing contacts at about 13 or 14. My first experience was miserable as the contact would roll over on my finger. Not sure if I'd been doing something wrong. As I recall, I tried another brand and the problem went away. In my adult life I've moved away from wearing contacts. My prescription is to a point where my contacts still work, but my minimum focus distance with them in is at or just slightly beyond arm's length. A bit of a nuisance, so I've suck with glasses. Hope you had a Merry Christmas.

Thanks Dan! Have you tried Multifocals? There are some great daily disposable options that might give you more visual flexibility 🤓

@@edlyonssportsvision9197 Well I might have to give that a try. Thanks. I'm sure the eye doctor would like to see me again. 😉

Great video as always Ed, as someone who is eyephobic (I know that’s probably
not a real word but you know what I mean 😂) I can’t bring myself to try contacts even though I’d much prefer them to having to wear my glasses. Always toyed with the idea and wimped out, your method makes it look quite easy to put them in though.

Thank you! Yes, it’s just a knack really and once you gain the confidence to get close to the eye it’s pretty easy. Give them a try 🤓

@@edlyonssportsvision9197 I have done. Got them last week. After the first initial bit of trauma and not being able to get them out I’ve now got the hang of it and seem to be getting on alright with them. I follow your method of getting them in so really appreciate that, it’s been a great help.
