Performance , location, camera work..absolutely stunning!
It's such a joy to watch them playing and the music is magnificent! I don't understand why the audience wasn't on their feet applauding at the end of the concert--I would've been, with tears rolling down my cheeks.
I think you missed something. 😄
I totally agree with. I’ve heard so many versions of this piece and this is one of the finest from a technical emotional and musical pt of view. The inbounding joy and life affirming quality of the music is all there.
5:53 to 6:01 my favorite part no doubt. That Harpsichord at the back make it soooo bright
Just fabulous !
The lost Bach concertos: Except from a very few exceptions, none of the scores of the Bach concertos survived! We know these because he transcribed them for harpsichord. Among these one overlaps with the Brandenburg collection: BWV 1049... If neither compilations had taken place, we only knew two or three Bach concertos. Why did the concertos get lost in the first place? I'll never find piece thinking about it but I can be forever thankful for that Brandenburg + Harpsichord collection that rescue his brilliant concertos! How many more disappeared?
Maravilloso Bach y esplendida interpretación.
Gracias por este regalo para el alma.
Nádhera! Čistá radost!
What a beautiful and refined interpretation! Bravi!!
Hudecek🎉❤ Bravo

15:37 Mark this solo here; doesn’t it seem like there exist more that two different notations wherein it differs in each, especially from about 15:52 until the cadence? I compared this (which I confidently consider my favorite version) with other interpretations, one featuring Isabell Faust and another Julia Fischer, and I tell you the difference was so confounding to the point where at first I thought Fischer’s must have been improvised!

14:11 3rd
6:58 2nd movement

BWV?
Mně se to zdá trochu mdlé. Pardon.
