I ❤️ Mario kart wii back at my old house because we move to another neighborhood and now I play it at summer camp in school every year with my summer camp students it so much fun and also now I last Wednesday on sept 25 I downloaded the new game Mario kart tour it’s so cool 😎 I was getting of this game I unlocked some characters so far but not enough I’m still getting there
That's because the ds has a low amount of pixels. If you play it on the ds it wouldn't look that bad

It never looked great since it was rendered at such a low resolution, but If you try watching the video again in a tiny window then you'll notice how much better it looks.

Fun fact: i was playing mkwii online and i was 4th, howewer the other 3 guys alredy crossed the goal, so i was the first, and i got a blue shell, what i did is to shoot the shell just when i crossed the line, and the blue shell just got stuck and stayed in place till the next guy came and the blue shell got redirected to that guy just in front of the goal, he came 8th and i feel bad for him
loved double dash at the time, but now the wheels are very slippery, and the lack of retro courses and game without gran prix really hit me to replay now, i want random courses
@@valentds To be fair, the track selection for retros aren’t that good up to that point. And the game does have Grand Prix. Controls you need to get used to to enjoy it.
Mario Kart Double Dash is and will always be my favorite and i played every single mario kart game after this one. The control of the vehicules was really good. compared to the new ones you could really feel the weight of the vehicules. now it's the same feeling, it's just the angle at which the vehicule turns that changes. And also the speed, i don't know why but this game feels fast compared to the others. Like even if mk8 has 200cc it's technically faster but it doesn't feel like it compared to 150cc in double dash. And i also love the fact that every character has their own unique objects. It adds a factor when selecting a character other than just speed and wheight. To me the best mario kart ever would be double dash with more content and bikes.

Back when everyone had a DS this is what my friends and I would all play at school everyday in the mornings and afternoons. It was always fun and never did anyone get bored. It makes me feel sorry for kids nowadays that probably won’t experience that same feeling. Well anyways this was the go to game if you wanted to link up but we also did Mario Party which was also amazing.

Crazy how much of a massive leap Double Dash was, the entire modern style and look of Mario Kart still used to this day was all nailed down by that game. Super Circuit was similar to Mario Kart 1, and 64 while 3D had a different look and feel to later entries. The whole super fast, vertical and bouncy style they've had in DS, Wii, 7 and 8 was all laid down in Double Dash. Even the art style hasn't changed since then.
xTriXKillerx but the microtransactions in this game are borderline ridiculous compared to most other mobile games. So bad that even other youtubers are pointing out how bad it is. It’s clear Nintendo went overboard with this.
Yes I love the concept, but instead of the joystick changing the tilt and actuly turning, it full out macro moves you in incremements, just that and lack of tracks are the only reason I don't like it as much as Wii and DS.
I always loved playing the DS version. It always has the good tracks and when I play it on the 3DS, it feels like the Mario kart game with the best controls. I also loved Mario kart 7 because it bought back a bunch of the old maps and had 2 Wii Sports Resort tracks which always makes me have nostalgic memories of Wii Sports Resort whenever I play it.
Just Imagine... The Track design of DD The Kart design of Mario Kart DS The character variety and physics of Wii The customization of 7 And lastly, the graphics of 8/8 Deluxe. We'd literally have the best Mariokart of all time.
I'm playing it right now. In 3D mode on the N3DSXL the graphics looks sweet! The point is not the graphics quality itself but the resolution working fine under the 3DS screen specs.

Carlos E Murillo think of it this way when you throw it forward it approaches another racer by the front when it’s about to explode. Either direction will work but if you throw it backwards then other racers can easily drive away because it won’t explode until a couple seconds later which there isn’t a high chance of it exploding another racer.
Mario Kart 64 wins my prize for being the most nostalgic, Double Dash wins for being the most entertaining to watch (I laughed so much watching that section of the video), and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe wins for being the best looking/best game overall.

@@E.h.a.n if you look at the place he was in, you can see Luigi was in front of him. The blue shell finds the first place AT the time someone uses it. So if you pass that person after they launch it, they still get hit even if they're in second or whatever place lol

Then the guy second becomes first and the shell locks onto them. So if you pass them the shell won't come after you. So yeah now I understand I also sometimes apply this
I think the problem with 8 onwards is that the movement became too advanced and the tracks became too easy to manoeuvre around in so from 8 onwards it was no longer that heavily based on skill it was more based on how lucky you get with items because the tracks are too easy to make a mistake. I think that’s why so many people prefer mario kart wii

Yes I love the concept, but instead of the joystick changing the tilt and actuly turning, it full out macro moves you in incremements, just that and lack of tracks are the only reason I don't like it as much as Wii and DS.

I always loved playing the DS version. It always has the good tracks and when I play it on the 3DS, it feels like the Mario kart game with the best controls. I also loved Mario kart 7 because it bought back a bunch of the old maps and had 2 Wii Sports Resort tracks which always makes me have nostalgic memories of Wii Sports Resort whenever I play it.
I still think that Mariokart wii is the best one!

I'm playing it right now. In 3D mode on the N3DSXL the graphics looks sweet! The point is not the graphics quality itself but the resolution working fine under the 3DS screen specs.

Carlos E Murillo think of it this way when you throw it forward it approaches another racer by the front when it’s about to explode. Either direction will work but if you throw it backwards then other racers can easily drive away because it won’t explode until a couple seconds later which there isn’t a high chance of it exploding another racer.

@@E.h.a.n if you look at the place he was in, you can see Luigi was in front of him. The blue shell finds the first place AT the time someone uses it. So if you pass that person after they launch it, they still get hit even if they're in second or whatever place lol

I know that tactic, when I'm in first place and I have a blue shell on me (Unless I have a super horn ) I immediately stop. Then the guy second becomes first and the shell locks onto them. So if you pass them the shell won't come after you. So yeah now I understand I also sometimes apply this

I think the problem with 8 onwards is that the movement became too advanced and the tracks became too easy to manoeuvre around in so from 8 onwards it was no longer that heavily based on skill it was more based on how lucky you get with items because the tracks are too easy to make a mistake. I think that’s why so many people prefer mario kart wii
