- Join me as I arrive in Yekaterinburg with only one goal in my mind: crossing the border between Europe and Asia, setting foot in a new continent for me.
In my quest to set foot in every single federal subject in Russia, the region of Yekaterinburg was number 21.

WHO AM I?
I started making videos for UA-cam when I was a university student. I was always trying to find cheap getaways to do some traveling in spite of the adversities put in place by being a broke university student living on their own! Traveling became more and more a fundamental passion of mine, and now that I'm gradually moving on to make a job out of it I couldn't be happier, and I can only continue making this kind of videos both for mine and your enjoyment!

This was one of the coldest winters when you visited. Usually it's down to -20C for few weeks and this winter it was down to -30C for 3 months. And now it's one of the hottest summers, it's late May and the temperature is over 30C already, a rare sight even in June on a usual summer.

Uhm yeah it's not really as straightforward as I thought. There are many different obelisks marking the border, and they are scattered all around the city
Ekaterinburg is around 50 to 10 KMs East of the border, depending which exactly border you take, so technically it is in Asia.
