This version of Fenri is *PEAK* anime protagonist and while annoying really cool to see. Congrats Ben on getting married, but sorry to hear that you’re getting bullied by electric sword dog.
Really strong fenri player! WP I played blue hybrid before and after the banlist and BOY to I agree that it lost its teeth. The deck is far from dead like gaburush, but I feel like the biggest hit the ukkos brought was the consistency. Being able to churn your hand with ukkos and Lui was what the deck really needed, and if the average tier 1 deck is running at 60 mph (to use an analogy) I feel like the deck went from running at 65 mph to 58.
Fenrilooga Takemika is super strong, when it works haha! The deck "can" kill on like turn 2 but a lot needs to go well, and meta decks like MagnaX and Imperial give it a real hard time or outright stop it. AncientGaru was/is interestingly one of the better matchups since you don't really play in the battle area and the deck has gotten slower. I think the Doruga version of Fenri is more dynamic with collision + more removal, also surprised to see trainings in the deck since bottom decking Kazuchi is a nightmare!
When fenrir came out first in bt14 i thought it was already scary. This just makes it horrendous to play against.. Glad my ancient grey just takes it out before it can go off
The more of the format I see the less effective I feel digimon emperor has become unless you see it really really early the card doesnt counter enough decks to make it worth the space in the deck for example against fenri witch should be one of the best decks that emperor can counter with the addition of the new eiji setter you pretty much would leave them at 1 at best if you saw 2 then they can just go to their next part of line or just hard play the setter where those spaces could be more used for heavy hitting options
Takemikazuchi is outright stupid. Turn 2-3 guaranteed win every game. Every once in a while he'll just brick for three turns and then kill you on turn 4.
Not really, if it were guaranteed the deck would be top of the meta, which it's not. When you play the deck a lot you see how strong it can be but also how lucky you need to be since you need Kazuchi and it's a card that you cannot search for, only with Analog. I honestly feel like the old version can be way more consistent and versatile.
