at 4:40 can someone explain the sequencing that allows kazuchi to be an alliance target? seems like its be useful for my cherubi deck but idk how that works
Alliance triggers with your "When attacking" effects, they simply did not activate it until after Kazuchimon entered the field, making it a valid target for Alliance
@@kido6076 But Kazuchi is getting played from a "when digivolving", right? Are you able to go back and do "when attacking" effects again after already using loogar's?
Yes, I will give you a more detailed explanation: In Digimon effects are handled through "stacks", one stack consists of all effects that were triggered at the same time - in this case the when attacking effect of Loogarmon as well as Alliance. The other important rule is the "last in first out" principle - meaning if you trigger new effects following a resolution of another effect, these need to be resolved first and are basically stack number two. But they don't cancel the effects from stack one, they merely put their resolution on hold. In this instance Loogar trashed Sol with its when attacking, triggering the Bowmon inherit, which now needs to resolve first. Bowmon resolves to evolve into Sol > Sols when digivolving is the newest trigger so it needs to resolve first > Fenri is trashed, triggering Bowmon again > Evolve into Fenri, Fenris when digivolving is the newest trigger > Kazuchi is played. No other effects besides Alliance from the when attacking timing is still triggered, so you can now choose to resolve it.
I'm gonna be that guy and say they need to hit the memory level 4s and Paladin mode Ace. Paladin not even for that but because Paladin kills graveyard decks entirely. The deck also has way too much protection that makes it crazy safe once it gets established.
@@OrukaBlanca by that logic we can say Ukko was stopped by digimon emperor. Bandai needs to be consistent across all decks and colors, tell me how that Davis and le. Don't limit future cards for imperial/veemon decks?
Tkse nume, it slowed it down, did not kill it, for a.v. yes ut destroyed they common way of playibg but it way dff to abuse going from 1 mem to 4 o 5 just from 1 rookie , if u are an imperial player u know how much the mstch chsnges fro. The tamer, u lit cannot go.offensive without it , as u could see from this match. Comparing still a deck which needs a card to be relevant for meta and snother that is just a tsd bit less explosive is also not the best. I do support hitting the bt12 exvee, less jammin and mem efficient wsys for the deck to be played (more efective since hammer also went to 1) but killing the only source for a deck to be relevant is not the way to go.
Man the amount of people coping about Davis and Ken being balanced is wild. Yes obviously imperial can brick but the potential high roll is the problem. If you open Davis and Ken + 2 of any combination of rookies (including at least 1 bt12 rookie) then you can put 1 rookie in the back then play Davis Ken for 4. Then on your SECOND turn even if you get chocked to 1 if you find the missing piece you need off of the free rookie search (both bt12 level 4’s) you can go paildramon get 2 free jamming checks and then pass turn in any way and all the sudden you have a level 5 with partition they have three security and you are threatening fighter mode ace if they try to retaliate. Keep in mind this is turn 2 btw. And before anyone says this scenario is unlikely it’s happened to me and many others plenty of times. The last regional had like 60% imperial in the top 16. Like I love imperial as well guys but Davis Ken is busted and should’ve at least been hit to 1
The deck functions just fine without the Dual tamer. Saying it kills the deck is a exaggeration. The deck is sped up tremendously with the tamer. You can have nothing on board but 2 tamers and be able to play free bodies that search 2 pieces at a time then can go into paildramon, stuns, strips sources, gain more memory, swings for 2 jamming and setup for Ace along with partition and protection... Hitting that tamer slows it down to be more in line with other decks that just got hit. You'll just have to play the old way where you raise out with a lvl4 or evo into it then hard play the counterpart lvl4 then DNA then gain memory to keep turn. In no way is the deck dead because of that.
I need to understand how that is. Imperial has been getting CONSISTENT support since BT12 and it has done legit NOTHING before getting the dual tamer. I'm not saying that the deck requires the tamer but i am saying it requires the tamer to be relevant. As strong as Imperial is the amount of bricks and finding pieces the deck needs to do when the game is shifting to 2-3 card combos is REALLY slow. playing the deck without the tamer slows the deck down to actually unviable in the meta entirely. I agree the tamer is strong but it was also necessary to putting the strategy inline with decks that are coming out.
@@Anorak00 well, it also got much more than just the dual tamer itself. The paildramon, primogenitor, dragon mode, fighter ace is all a very strong package along with paladin mode ace that straight up makes most purple decks irrelevant. It's already a fast aggro deck, sets itself up for counter, and draw cards like no tomorrow. All decks can brick... But imperial has multiple searchers that can grab every single piece in its deck. Imperial was also pretty relevant in the Asia meta so idk about it doing nothing. It was just overshadowed by broken decks that have now been hit. Curious to which 2-3 card combo decks you're talking about that is too fast for Imperial.
Bro people complaining about bt-12 exvee and sting like they were broken before. They are only tools to keep turn because pail cant do anything besides swing. The only reason why the deck is practically untouchable is having dai ken 16 even then they have so many other tamers. They got one in bt17 which became irrelevant because why even play it when you can play a body, strip sources and gain mem. I love the deck (I main shine now) but they really should have hit daiken16 we literally have 2 other daikens and the other davis that can do similar things but not everything.
@@ClubbingSealCub if you have 4 Dav&Ken out there then yeah sure. But if they had 4 tamers out there then they either had a very fortunate security or you let them pay 16 memory which is a you problem.

The deck just completely dominated a regional with 9/16 of the top 16 being Imperial, and it won that event. It's a bit overtuned atm. People are allowed to criticize the state of the meta. You'll just have to accept that.

Why not instead just hit the bt12 jamming exvee and the old imperial that lets you play out material and leave everything else as is
