I think the reason they limited it was so you cant throw in zephagamon stuff and shoto, these are the only 2 liberator decks that have crossover of colors beside heavymetal and necromon. Also both dinomon and zephaga want to suspend there own stuff so they wanted to make it harder to mix the decks. Also as tech options i went with bt9 dinorex, it has a similar thing to the blitz one but it takes advantage of hybrids tamers and can prevent a swing and bt17 parasitemon as a counterpart to xantibody cuz i thought it would be good for removal and source adding, and i run old taiga so piercing

I like ST Guilmon as it's a red reptile with draw power when you delete something, comes in handy

This deck is so weird to build. It you cant take advantage of the taigas. The green and red split make generic search options annoying to run (i know most are running garnet boost but then you have to pick on green or red train/scramble) and i wish we had a good green koromon. Would love to see your take on how it changes come the new rust promo in 2.5

The ex08 Liberator decks form this pokemon-style matchup triangle. Tyrannomon has good tools against Pyramidimon's gimmick, but Skadimon's source strip is a nightmare. Pyramidimon has anti-source strip built in but can struggle against the wall of anti-de-digivolve Dinomon. And Skadimon freezes Dinos, but crumbles to rocks disruption. I don't think the bad matchups are unwinnable, but you need God on your side.

You can't raid when dinomon is in play. In order to raid you have to attack the player, which then redirects the attack to the highest dp unsuspended digimon the opp has in play. Dinomon says you can only attack suspended digimon; it's not a redirect. So BurningGrey shouldn't be able to raid.

As both a Justi and Birds player this video had me rooting for both but knowing after I saw that combo that it was over no matter what. Birds really don't even need Ancient Grey to be devastating and that shows why. I do wonder if when we get the Devices + ACE for Justi if we'll see a moment where it gets to do that itself though. I think it would be a fun one to watch for sure and a little less one-sided. Still Stack did a good job and deserves a cybernetic salute for taking out five security off that board state. o7

EX8 Callismon together with bt17 agumon that has [eot] DNA can work well in this deck. You can get 2 lvl5 with a certain ease, by either having MasterTyranno survining your opponent's turn because of fortitude or by having EX8 tyranno being played off of your security and evolving in your next turn. Usually evolving into your second lvl5 passes your turn, and that's where your bt17 agumon can shine at the end of turn.

I definitely feel that Justi X was made with the intention of having Justimon ACE instead of the original line. In tandem with the rest of the device cards. There's a reason BT19 came out before EX08 in JP after all.

10:36 Floodgates aren't really an issue for this deck at all. I've been playing it for a couple weeks now and you just pop the floodgates very easily with AncientGrey evo from an aguni swing, a Garuda X evolution, or from Garuda inherit that pops 6k or less digimon. And usually/ideally you start the aggro loop with an aguni swing, which will always pop the flood gate first, then you delete yourself and play all your stuff. The deck actually has a lot of low-end removal. It's actually the high dp digimon that are hard to remove. Which is why we started playing plasma shot (also for Gallant X answer; 2 birds, one stone there) and zubaeager to help boost Garuda X or ancient dp to pop big mons.

In that last game, if there was a Justimon X in hand, I'm pretty sure he had game because you could just hard play it and swing. I think Justimon has some really neat plays in ex8, but it does feel like we're in the waiting room for 2.5 for sure. Currently, I'm on a machine/cyborg heavy build using Supreme Connection and Izzy to stack the deck in my favor. You can play Cyberdramon Ace for 2 or 1 if you hit Izzy and combo off from there.

If Red Hybrid didn't pop Dinomon and chose to pop the lvl 3 at the end of game 2, would he have pierced? Or would Dinomon's effects resolve first?
