I’m a 52 yr old woman in Michigan and decided I wanted to learn to hunt this year. I also learned everything from UA-cam. My first night bow hunting I got a BIG doe. We have an over abundance of does on our farm. I’m still hoping to get a nice buck, but deer management is just as important. 🧡. Lorie 😊
@@rickcole2301 thank you Rick. I’m loving it so far. Friday is supposed to be a really good day for deer movement so I already told my husband I’m going to be in my blind all day. I did see a couple bucks tonight, but they were pretty small bodied. I’m enjoying the thrill of wondering what will show up. 😊
Shower gun.... I am reminded of the NCIS episode where the agent visits the ex-Russian agent, and he pulls a gun out of the fridge. "You keep a gun in the refrigerator ?? What? You DON'T?"
Really enjoy your Q&A's. Thanks I My last 4 dogs (before my current 2) were fed "high quality" kibble. They all died of cancer and had various maladies throughout their lives, and had a tendency to be overweight. None lived longer than 10 years. The current 2 are on a raw diet and are healthier and perfectly sculpted at 5 years old. So far so good.
Armed Women of America (AWA, formerly the The Well Armed Woman/TWAW) is a national women's club with area chapters. That is what I did 4 years ago when I lived in IL, and I am in TN now and easily found another local chapter.
For the question about courage to go to the range…. I started with taking Ladies only classes at our local range. It helped build confidence. Watching you tube videos also helped.
There are Becoming an Outdoor Woman, BOW, chapters, in most states. I belonged in 2 states. It's women only, though some men were allowed, rarely. Usually a spouse. They have all types of hunting and fishing, hiking, kayaking, camping, even cooking your harvest. Great grp!!!
I joined The Armed Women of America which meets monthly. Also, RangeUSA near me offers a “Lady Sure Shots” class. Both give tips and practice for getting more confidence with handling firearms.
Stay: wanted make sure you saw this. Just watched your testimony. You got good handle on it. The word is the most important thing there is in this time. Keep at it. You have a weapon on your waist and one in your heart. Keep developing the one in your heart. (As well as the other one). I am a pastor and am constantly looking for people who love Jesus and follow HIM com hell or high water. You express yourself really well and will show many the road to peace. It’s their choice if they want to follow it. MAC. I hope you know what you have. Do everything in your power to hang on to her. That kind don’t come along very often. I got one. 49 years ago. That’s one that will walk along side of you, not behind or in front of you. Together you make a good team. Keep it up.
Yes Stav I get what you’re saying about women, senior citizens, and smaller statue persons losing access to firearms. Hand guns are great equalizers. Suddenly being prevented from owning, carrying, and practicing would be a hardship and life threatening. Both of you have a Happy Thanksgiving and thanks indeed for your service to community both public and private. Also, gun ranges have changed. Gone are the smokey, dirty, smelly joints being replaced by family centered, clean, learning environment type places. Mac is right about going on weekdays too. Less crowded and intimidating.
The old saying is, "God made man (people); Sam Colt/John Browning (take your pick) made them equal." So called gun control is not about safety, it's about elites trying to get a monopoly on power/life.
My hound bled from A to B when fed anything containing corn-meal. Each episode was cured by rice/ground beef, coconut oil. I love you both. Dont stop what you are doing, this North America needs more like you everywhere!
I'm transitioning my 6 5-year-old German Shepherd to a raw diet now. We are in our third month on a raw diet. Prior to her getting on this raw diet, she started itching real bad. Now she's still itchy, but I've noticed she's getting better. Also, she seems more alert, active, and attentive. Worth the change.
18:21 The NRAs Women on Target program is incredible for new shooters. In our area we have handgun, rifle and shotgun courses. You have a few hours of instruction in the morning, then lunch and some shooting (.22 for handgun and rifle and 410/20/12 for shotgun). It’s an incredible program. The course is $50 here and can’t be beat.
Thank you for presenting pro-2A from an equality perspective!! I can't tell you how many other women I know want to ban guns... I'm like "Don't you at least want a fighting chance against a larger male attacker??" It drives me crazy. No man (or woman) is going to tell me I don't have the right to defend myself!!💯💪🇺🇲
These women are probably ‘it won’t happen to me’ people. God bless ‘em! Reality check… it happens to everyone and I for one will be ready to defend myself and my loved ones if it does.
This deals with a number of the subjects covered in this video. 1. Slow is Smooth, Smooth is Fast. (Practice, Practice, Practice) Repetition creates muscle memory. 2. The 4 levels of competence. Unconscious Incompetence - You are doing it wrong but do not know it. Conscious Competence - You are doing it wrong but now know it is wrong. Conscious Competence - You are doing it right because you are concentrating on doing it right. Unconscious Competence - You are doing it right and have done it so many times that you do not need to think about it. A good example of both of these is practicing at home with an UNLOADED gun. I can pick an object 20 to 40 feet away as my target and very quickly draw, remove the safety, and index on the target with almost perfect sight alignment in less than 1 second. The extra partial second needed to adjust the sights that possible 1 or 2 inches needed to align the sights perfectly with the target are an unconscious action. Thousands of repetitions has trained my body to point the gun to where my eyes are looking. I am starting to look at optics on pistols. The difference in sight elevations is such that I will need MANY repetitions before I can comfortably and accurately align the dot with the target. One thing I have learned is to not look for the dot, but to look at the target and allow the dot to align with the target. Trying to find the dot first means that you need to shift your focus from the target to the dot and back to the target. Many times people lose the dot as they shift back to the target so now they start doing the head shift as they try to find the dot again. Look at the target and train your body to align the sights until it becomes an unconscious action.
Hi Stav, You almost have convinced on the raw diet for dogs. I have a bloodhound that is 8 months old. Thinking about making the switch. When I clicked on your link for that channel, it's "not found". Wondering what that channel is, I want to check it out. Also, thanks for changing my life on your Bible episode. I have started in the Gospels per your tip, and I'm pretty hooked. God bless you both.
I’m not Stav, but we have three dogs (see profile pic). We feed them raw from Texas Tripe. We’ve had our rottie since he was 12 weeks old, and he’s been fed raw since that point. When he was 9 months old, he tore his knee ligament on his back left knee. We crate rested him for six weeks on the advice of our vet, fed him raw, gave him a joint supplement from Wholistic Pet Organics, and his knee healed w/o surgery and w/o any further intervention from our vet. Our vet was amazed at the results, and a total of three vets followed him within the practice from injury to being healed. They tell his story to other clients often. Our pittie and rhodesian ridgeback r rescues, and came to us in poor health. We immediately started them on raw, and all their skin issues, allergies, and even acid reflux in the case of our rhodesian ridgeback have resolved. We have seen the payback from feeding them a raw diet by seeing literally no vet bills except when Thor’s knee was injured, and when we have to sedate him to cut his nails (rotties HATE their feet being touched lol), and they r all incredibly healthy with no dental issues. Happy, healthy dogs that I know EXACTLY what they’re eating is something that gives one peace of mind that can’t be stated enough. If ur thinking about doing it, I urge to make the switch. U won’t regret it. ❤

I carried a Springfiel 1911A1 for many years, because I felt 'more comfortable' carrying 'that way'. The past 4 years, I've carried a Sig Sauer P365XL (with no external safety that I can manipulate). I've never had an issue with carrying it. Keep your booger hook off the bang switch, get a good grip on it, and don't drop it.
I bought the strike men laser fire I try to get to the range at least once a week or as much as I could afford the ammo if you buy a membership you don't have to pay for range time you just have to pay for the ammo but the laser fire really helps me at home develop a steady trigger pull finding my front sight out of my holster
In my CCL class it was pointed out if even with a CCL permit if I defended myself (in Illinois) I would at least spend a night in jail, and it the states attorney wants to make points heavily procecuted.

we started our dogs on raw food diet about 5 years ago. The oldest was six and the younger one was about 9 months old. Our oldest, Gracie, was never in to her food and all of a sudden SCARFED her raw food down and was shinier coat, more energy, less allergies etc. It was a night and day difference for her. Unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to her last year but the little one, Daisy, has only really known raw food and does well with it. She has more allergy issues but we started going to a homeopathic vet trying something different to get different results! I love seeing more about this online and more people looking in to it!
Believe it or not. I take a gun into the bathroom when I take a shower nearly every time. I’ve been shot 3x nearly stabbed 20 times and sliced up. Had a rough past and involvement in certain things. Now that I’m older. I don’t have a lot of faith in society. There’s more good than bad. But you never know if the bad may come invading. It’s better to be prepared than not. Crazy part is I have zero paranoia now days. But am vigilant when I leave the house and prepared when home. Great video as always. Happy belated thanksgiving to you and your husband.
I agree with Stav on the 2A fight. To many people are misinformed and have no clue. If you live in the peoples republic of MA support Gun Owners Action League as they are actively working hard to stop that bill in MA.
I agree about 1911 safeties & they are the only guns I carry that have a safety. I really like my CZ75 compact but the safety on it is a tiny bit too far for me to reach so I miss it on the draw occasionally which means I won't carry it. If I ever did carry a CZ it would have to be decock only. But most of the time I just carry an ole Glock for the simplicity 😊
I’m a deputy sheriff in Tennessee. Unfortunately where I live is a bigger city and we have a lot of crime where I live. Due to my job and where I live I carry everywhere I go and even have a firearm in the bathroom.
Wow, what a great informative video. Happy Thanksgiving Stav and Mac. Keep sending out these videos. I am trying to get my daughter to watch you and be encouraged. Hoping she will see your approach to firearms and get some training. Love the dogs. I'm a dog guy. Take care and once again thanks.
Hi there! I was wondering, since they don't make the can can hip hugger belly holster anymore, which one would you recommend is the next best one? Thanks from Michigan! Love you guys!
@SheEquipsHerself Practical Thoughts for [non-traditional] University Students with their WCP who are not allowed to carry while on campus due to University regulations or state laws?
Listen I could speak to going to the range thing I'm a 46-year-old man and I just started shooting just bought my handgun about 2 months ago I've been to the range probably a half a dozen times already what helps is the people that work there are very very nice and very informative and they make you feel very comfortable. Make sure you take good ear protection I would wear the in ear protection and over the ear protection the first couple shots I heard when I was in there scared the living crap out of me but I bought better ear protection the electronic kind just go you will get the bug and you will be very happy with it
Question for Mac - how long can carry/defensive ammo last stored away and still maintain reliable performance (assuming stored properly in a cool/dry place)? It's expensive to constantly purchase self defense ammo, but I don't want to hold onto ammo past a perceived expiry date.
I agree with Stav on the gun control laws. They are anti women! I do not have the upper body strength to fight off a man, even if he is smaller than me, not that many (if any) men would be. I am 5’4”, 130#. I am physically weak due to a previous accident. This is why I carry - to defend myself. Why should I be disadvantaged by ridiculous gun laws when, as you said, criminals don’t abide by the law? IMO gun control laws are only meant to disarm the nation’s citizenry. Good luck getting the guns from the criminals. They can’t even get the drugs away from the criminals.
Most gun ranges I went to are safety oriented and very receptive to new shooters. Patrons are required to be well behaved and maintain a safe environment.
Also wife and I just got our first MNP shield we live in California I’m looking to purchase a MMP shield plus which is now on the California roster. Do you have an email that I can contact you? I have a lot of questions about the shield plus thank you.
Another good group for women is Shooting For Women Alliance. Well worth checking out. They also have instructors scattered around the U.S. so that could be another good resource for training. I hope this helps.
John Adams said it best. He stated that our constitution was only made for moral and religious people and he's right! Bad people with low moral character will not surrender to the law; only those with high moral character. Therefore, things such as gun control laws do nothing to help law abiding citzens, but instead punish those who do. I also find it hypocritical that goverment officals will push to pass gun control laws, yet have the privlege of having armed security to protect them. Should we not have that same right????
Happy Thanksgiving! Mack when you retire move south with the rest of us "Retired Police Officers" I'm from New Jersey now in Florida, almost all of us carry. No Bad Northeast Fire Arm Laws.
13:18, "and maybe not even then". An important fact that is ignored by many. Colion Noir also said he's got a gun secured in every room, while making the video in the bathroom.

Happy Thanksgiving! God Bless y’all. 🙏👍❤️🇺🇸
Awesome thank you both Happy Thanksgiving
Hi there! I was wondering, since they don't make the can can hip hugger belly holster anymore, which one would you recommend is the next best one? Thanks from Michigan! Love you guys!
I live in Indiana 65 seldom leave or carry. We got Const. Carry.
Jazz is great, but I'm just surprised Mac didn't get a word before 1:56 ;)
A wise man knows when to speak and when to listen.....Mac
😆 well said
You And Mac have a blessed and happy Thanksgiving
Love the beard. Love watching you both.
I like jazz. I studied jazz in college. I have over 20 years of experience playing jazz. I could help you out and get you guys squared away.

Practical Thoughts for [non-traditional] University Students with their WCP who are not allowed to carry while on campus due to University regulations or state laws?
I love K-Love too 😊
Love ya'lls faith!
Another Good Study is The Bible Recap.
Yes!! I linked that in the description under Bible resources :)
Listen I could speak to going to the range thing I'm a 46-year-old man and I just started shooting just bought my handgun about 2 months ago I've been to the range probably a half a dozen times already what helps is the people that work there are very very nice and very informative and they make you feel very comfortable. Make sure you take good ear protection I would wear the in ear protection and over the ear protection the first couple shots I heard when I was in there scared the living crap out of me but I bought better ear protection the electronic kind just go you will get the bug and you will be very happy with it
Have you shot the Ruger MAX 9 yet? Very similar to the LCP MAX.
Where is the best place to get Shield ez items ? Magazines, upgrades ?
What's the deal with Sig and safeties?

Superior Video, Thanks for Sharing
Question for Mac - how long can carry/defensive ammo last stored away and still maintain reliable performance (assuming stored properly in a cool/dry place)? It's expensive to constantly purchase self defense ammo, but I don't want to hold onto ammo past a perceived expiry date.
We replace ammo every year or sooner. My cousin is using the same carry ammo he used 15 years ago. I would replace it at least once a year. Mac
@@bobmacquarrie Thank you for the response sir. I'll work on cycling my ammo more frequently than I have been.
Good questions to start with shooting and going to gun range try A girl and A gun
A Girl and A Gun is a great group!
looking for a good holster
Get a Mantis system to dry fire at home.
😊
Most gun ranges I went to are safety oriented and very receptive to new shooters. Patrons are required to be well behaved and maintain a safe environment.
Also wife and I just got our first MNP shield we live in California I’m looking to purchase a MMP shield plus which is now on the California roster. Do you have an email that I can contact you? I have a lot of questions about the shield plus thank you.
We are going to be running a Shield Plus 9mm vs 30 Super Carry soon....Just FYI...

What do you think about a 22 pistol?
Nice Springfield 1911
Which bible do you use?
I don't like optics. N/S are good enough. Because of you two I'm switching to a SW Shield Plus N/S 3.1 in Barrel.
Great choice....shields are fantastic....mac
Sigs only fire by themselves if you are part of law enforcement fyi.
Another good group for women is Shooting For Women Alliance. Well worth checking out. They also have instructors scattered around the U.S. so that could be another good resource for training. I hope this helps.
The link to the RawDiet YT isn’t working.
Good q&a and content 👌 🗽🎯 stay safe and enjoy holidays 🦃🐕🦺 carry on 🔫 🇺🇸
Lmao Macs face on your introvert comment 🤣
do you prefer a thumb safety or grip safety?
John Adams said it best. He stated that our constitution was only made for moral and religious people and he's right! Bad people with low moral character will not surrender to the law; only those with high moral character. Therefore, things such as gun control laws do nothing to help law abiding citzens, but instead punish those who do. I also find it hypocritical that goverment officals will push to pass gun control laws, yet have the privlege of having armed security to protect them. Should we not have that same right????
Politicians don't care if you need to protect yourself. As long as they're nice and safe.
😊💖🐶🐶
What a lucky man Mac is...Gorgeous looking Greek beauty you have, stunningly pretty, smart, and love your channel 😂
