    Comforting alloy hum that reverberates off the filaments blanketing the ungulating mounting stratosphere. Thanks for sharing.

    I don't usually listen to ambient or experimental music but when I do, I do get some really good feelings between inner peace and fear. I find myself in some unknown and strange places but on the other hand I feel like being at home. Very inspiring, great job !

    This is great work and its so soothing at times. The slow rising climax didnt bother me because I was lured and eased into it. I love it.

    I think this is simply beautiful. I've been making music for four years and experimental ambiance has been one of my favorite genres to work in. I like to get wacky and very abstract with some songs. please, keep making music. This is simply amazing.

    Really great. Can feel the emotion. Definitely provocative. I'll definitely look around for more of your stuff. Also, I half expected a kick for a trance buildup around 6:00 :P

    Usually takes me a while to find music that hits the spot in this genre. As soon as I hear a catchy beat I'm immediately turned off. But THIS is wonderful. This surreal wandering of the soul in some aether of half-formed sounds. This is going in the playlists I listen to while painting. Thank you.

    Very atmospheric #ambientmusic it does indeed give me the feeling of an imaginary landscape with a futuristic city in it. So the metal feel is a good description for it! #imaginarycreatures like metal giants remind me always of #sciencefiction literature. To sum it up I love your metal giants stroll in a futuristic park! ^_^

    Subscribed. I'm loving this piece man. At times it's like a bad dream, LFOs at a breath's tempo. Very minimalist, yet at the same time it is full, with no room or no need to punctuate. I could have listened for much longer and I liked how the program changes were very subtle and gradual and without gimmick. Excellent work, mate!

    I am from Little Rock, AR. A lot of these sounds are inspired by walking alone in the woods of Central Arkansas. Trains in the distance, accompanied by Fireflies surrounding my walks, would always spark my imagination.

      +FatKidWitAJetPak What is the sound of a firefly? We dont have them here, I cant place thier tone. ps if your into insects see David Rothenburg.

    • @FatKidWitAJetPak
      @FatKidWitAJetPak  9 років тому

      +irontoad123 A firefly makes virtually no sound, it only lights up using a chemical reaction inside its body. In the track that I am working on, I recorded several interviews of children who had never seen fireflies and asked them what they sounded like. A few of them answered back some interesting comments, and I feel it made a great sample for the soundscape.

    This is some absolutely incredible music art!
    I plan to create some short films in the future.
    Would it be possible to use this music? I would appreciate it greatly.
    Not sure if you've heard of Alan Splet, Sound Designer, but he worked with David Lynch;
    You could be Alan Splet, and me Lynch! :)

    Did you use a specific tempo or different through the the tracks, or mixed different tracks together? Thanks man it helps to focus

    • @FatKidWitAJetPak
      @FatKidWitAJetPak  8 років тому +1

      Hey, Hernan! When I compose ambient music, I set the tempo to 120. My arpeggiations (the melodic portion of the song) all match this tempo automatically, but my soundscape design (the parts with noise, darkness, etc) has no set tempo. This allows me to be very experimental, and I don't constrain my track to a set pace. If you notice, the bass goes up and down the scale without a specific BPM. Its actually totally off beat, creating a very hypnotic feel. For longer tracks, I feel this is almost necessary. I have always enjoyed setting the melody to a specific BPM, while keeping everything else varied for optimal mood changes in longer production.

    • @FatKidWitAJetPak
      @FatKidWitAJetPak  8 років тому +1

      +Eric VanderHelm I actually never released it. Following a bad breakup, where the Chinese government would not allow my fiancé to leave her country, I couldn't find the right emotion to express into a song that would fully complete the album. I did remaster several tracks, including this one, and you can find Ironesque Valley in a recently released Dubai compilation entitled "Deprogrammed".
