    You are inspiring me sooo much in learning this beautiful language.. It's difficult, and sometimes really different from my language (I'm Italian), but you explain it in such a pleasant way that it's always a joy... I have followed you since the very first episode of the series, even if I never commented, but now I really feel I have to say thank you for everything, and I don't exaggerate when I say that without you I would have probably never learnt Estonian, so... Aitäh!^~^

    Tere!
    I have a friend who's currently teaching me Estonian, I used your alphabet video to help me say words better, but I still have a little trouble with R sometimes XD
    I've learnt the 14 nouns (and know them off by heart now!) and so I'm now currently learning all the "please" and "thank you" and "how are you" sort of things, heck she even sent me an Estonian dictionary so I'll probably try learn words from that!
    anyway, these videos are really helpful to learn The Estonian languages thank you!
    It's 2am so I'll start sleeping ^^
    ööd!

    Tere! :D I love your videos, it is so much fun to learn estonian, however I haven't found any other study material and I would be very interested in creating sentences, like verbs and persons and so on... I don't know if you're gonna continue doing these videos but I love them and you’re a very good teacher

      +Super Girl university really takes away all my free time to prepare the lessons and film and edit. It's not easy to make lessons like that as there's a lot of research that I have to do.

    I will go to Tallinn Estonia from Canada to start my academic year at Tallinn University of technology. I guess I should make videos how to speak Japanese in the future because I am Japanese descent.
    Your video actually helps me out! As I love Estonia!!!!! I heard of the fact numerous times that people are very friendly out there!
    Hope I will have local friends to talk about Estonia and experience something different from North America!

      Yuji Tsuzuki Friendly but reserved. But there are all kinds of people.

      I believe I have no issue to speaking English as I have lived in Canada. However, my concern is if they are friendly to Asians lol

      Yuji Tsuzuki Some older people and middle aged people might be a bit racist. I'm pretty sure it won't affect you too much since the student sand university staff are probably more international minded.

      thanks for your comments back again!
      many people said Estonians are very friendly howver, I dont have anything in common with them as I was born in Japan and spend time in both japan and Canada...Hope people will be open minded and i get friends out there!!! Get people unreserved!!!

    • @LittleMissSquirrel
      @LittleMissSquirrel  9 років тому +1

      Yuji Tsuzuki I think you'll be fine! Though there are immature people who will probably think you're from China and try to speak "fake Chinese" with u. However I see this happening everywhere I go. So it's not a country based racism. But i sincerely hope that you will not meet one of those silly people and that you'd be able to make lot's of friends :). Good Luck!!!

    How many verb tenses you've got? In Hungarian we have two or three, depends on how you define tenses.

    +Little Miss Squirrel Hello!/Tervist! I would like to know if the declensions cases suffixes are always the same? Thanks in advance/Ette tänades

    • @LittleMissSquirrel
      @LittleMissSquirrel  8 років тому

      +fi vantvcs I'm sorry, as I have not studied linguistics and english is not my first language so i'm not really sure about the meaning for "declensions cases suffixes" in Estonian. Therefore, i'm not able to answer your question.

      +Little Miss Squirrel Ma tahtsin öelda: "Ma tahan teada, kas variatsioone juhul sufiksid on alati samad?" Aitäh

      As I've said several times before, I'm not a professional teacher and have not studied Estonian in such a high level (I am just a native speaker who wants to help people as much as she knows). I would like to say that yes they are always the same but then again i'm not exactly sure what u had in mind. What are the variations that u mean and what kind of suffixes u had in mind. Estonian is def not one of those systematic and logical languages in my opinion (such as Korean) where everything follows rules including exceptions.

    • @fivantvcs9055
      @fivantvcs9055 8 років тому

      +Little Miss Squirrel I meant that = Nominative: none suffixe, Genitive: u for singular, -de or -te in plural, Illative: -sse, Inessive: -s, Elative: -st, Allative: -le , Adessive: -l, Ablative: -lt, Translative: -ks, Terminative: -ni, Essive: -na, Abessive: -ta, Comitative: -ga

    • @LittleMissSquirrel
