This is a recording of A. Soler's Sonata in G minor, M.38, by Jorge Tabarés. It belongs to his CD "Tribute to Alicia" published with KNS Classical. If you would like to listen to the CD there are links to Spotify and iTunes above. The CD was released in June 2020, and it's an homage to the great Spanish pianist Alicia de Larrocha. It also includes some of her own compositions from her collection “Sins of Youth.” Recently the CD has received 4 awards at the Music and Stars Awards: Gold Star for Best Piano Solo CD, Gold Star for Best CD Concept, Gold Star for Best Sound Editing, and Silver Star for Best Cover. Well played. But nothing matches Soler and Scarlatti at the harpsichord.
