- Join us as we head back to Wicksteed Park which has turned 100yrs old this year
Wicksteed Park is located in Kettering, Northamptonshire and is a huge park with a whole host of rides and attractions including the world’s oldest Water Cute which opened in 1926 not 1923 as mentioned in the vlog lol
Sadly the park went into administration due to the Covid pandemic but thankfully the park was saved and is back open to entertain guests once again, the park has had some new investment including a new flat ride a re-theme of the Pinfari Rollercoaster
There’s so much to this park and they always seem to have events on throughout the year so please check their website for more information

Just want to point out that the park actually closed at 5:30pm and not 5:00pm as advertised due to the rain and the Water Chute opened in 1926 and not 1923 as I said in the vlog lol…..thanks for watching

Really interesting park with so much potential for new attractions, rides and coasters, also something we agree on a wooden rollercoaster would fit well in there, but exactly how big? "The Wickerman" size? "Big Dipper" size? or Margate Dreamland "Scenic Railway" size? If none or one of them, which type Woodie? Also just to add about park railway, could even add more stations around the park for people to get off aswell on at? Aswell maybe add more coaches and an extra train in service on the loop on busy days? But overall, amazing vlog and video. Looking forward to next vlog and video in future. Cheers. 😀👍

Great vlog mate👍loved this place when I was a kid Water chute. train ride, Double pirate ships Rotor ride ,Paratrooper ,rollercoaster ,dodgems bumpy slide, bumper boats , carousel and their used to be a small coaster where the swings and slides are back in the late 70’s early 89’s great memories I might be wrong but I’m sure there was a cine2000 there to at one point 👍

Yes, Galaxy invaders was at Barry's Amusements. Have fond memories riding it! BTW the ride was indoors when it was there. Great to see it live on!
I used to live right near Wicksteed but then I moved up to Liverpool about 4 years ago. I always enjoyed going there, the rides were great! I'm also going to Blackpool on Friday and your Pleasure Beach vlogs are my favourite. Hopefully we'll get to see another one soon!

@@Coaster_Crazy Like I said I'm going to Blackpool on Friday for the first time since 2017, when I was 10. Back then I was terrified of all the coasters. Even ones like grand national. Being that scared obviously meant I didn't go on any of the main ones like big one or icon. So I'm hoping to go on EVERYTHING. Keep going with the vlogs mate everyone's loving them

Great park worked on rides in top area 2018 and 2019 and before covid/administration in 2020. It is now wicksteed trading ltd run by former managers
Starting to be a fan of SBF Visa Rides especially the thrilling Dance party 3 rides that invert at the Gulivers parks I reckon wicksteed would benefit from one or one of there drop towers SBF Visa produce the right sort of rights for Wicksteed Park

Yes you need a wristband or an individual tickets to see the Meerkats and Birds

2 years ago when I went there, one of the ride operators made an issue because I was filming whilst other ride operators were okay with it. Never seen anybody else having issues with filming on rides.
