Good to see you back to visit Beamish at this beautiful location with its amazing tours as well as the museum & small classic fair there too great vlog as always Andy 👍
Beamish is a great place to go. Changed so much since I last went. So much to do and see plus have a pint. My dad says the Sun Inn pub moved from Bishop Auckland brick by brick. Was owned by a family member many many years ago on my dads side
Looks like a really nice place to visit, weather permitting. People who like 'Ye Olde' history will love it. I would probably spend all day lapping the trams and buses. 👍
That’s the only issue with Beamish is that 80% of it is outdoors with not much coverage in between so if it’s boiling hot or pissing it down it’s not great
I have been to Beamish a few times and it's good but at Christmas it's amazing and so magical with the ice rink, the area where the reindeers are and you can see santa. I went one year when it was snowing and it was just amazing walking round it in the snow! I have also been to the Black Country museum twice amd that is good too, it also snowed on one of my visits there too and it was a great experience!
Great vlog again Andy, so good the misses has decided we are going to visit, didn't know this existed, knew about the black country one but this was a surprise, cheers for the idea, as ever mptyt, (more power to your tokens for those wondering 😊
We always went to beamish for school as well as it was so close for me. It looks so much bigger now than it was, I mainly recall the one street of houses, one small track of tram and the coal mine. We did get to lightwater valley a couple of times with school too which was a bit more fun for kids at the time.
Nice & good vlog & video, really enjoyed and always look forward to seeing more. Was looking at Google Maps & the steam railway section & wondering something that would be good in future would be a transport ride from outside into site? Maybe via railway onsite aswell Tanfield Railway. With maybe that connecting to mainline creating purpose for that railway & giving tourists visiting area & UK more transport options instead of just travelling by car & or tram around site? Could maybe even create a new station somewhere around site? As its really is a massive site? Never visited this museum, but is somewhere would love to visit in future as never visited as bit far to travel & expensive currently via train etc. But nice video, 100% recommend K&ESR / Kent and East Sussex Railway, Bluebell Railway & Spa Valley Railway located in Kent both K&ESR & Spa & Bluebell Railway in Sussex. Aswell East Kent Railway located in Kent. But nice vlog, enjoyed and look forward to next. Cheers. 😀👍
Thanks mate glad you enjoyed the video !! Yeah it’s a long way for people to travel and you should give it a go one day as like I say everything is worth a visit and yeah those railways look great from what I’ve seen
Where will you be 2nd August? I wanna go somewhere on the 2nd as there the only date In August for silver annual pass but I don't wanna go on the rides by myself.
I visited it yesterday 🎉😂❤ l love it

Going to have to give this a butchers at some point, what's wrong with southern chips 😂😂 great video mate
Northern chips are the best and always have been lol
@@Coaster_Crazy 🤣🤣 yeah but you got to have gravy with them
Did you do the Guinness storehouse tour in Dublin? Definitely worth it for the view at the top alone 🙌🏻
I don’t like Guinness so I wouldn’t do the tour lol
Can I just ask did you say the chips were 7.50 and was it just chips and was it per portion great video years since I was there too
Where will you be 2nd August? I wanna go somewhere on the 2nd as there the only date In August for silver annual pass but I don't wanna go on the rides by myself.
I will be at work
There ia a open air museum near Tavistock in Devom called Morwhellem Quay have you been there
Never heard of it before but know I do thanks, will definitely have to check it out one day
What was your best section of the park
Erm 🫤 the trams
How does beamish compare to the black country open air museum
They are both pretty much the same thing so it’s very hard to compare
Can I just ask the chip shop was it just chips you got and did you say 7.50 ? Was that per portion? Great video last time I was there was in school
No £7.50 for 2 people lol but tbh I didn’t go in the chippy or pay for them lol my partner did
Did you try the cheese pork pies?
No but I want to lol
@@Coaster_Crazy You should go back at Christmas time too.
You didn't even sample the proper DAVYS FRYS CHIPS COKKED ON COAL, BUT THE CHIPPY WHERE YOU BEEN THE NEW BUILD IS RUBBISH
Oh lol I realised that we didn’t visit the coal mine area and that there was a chippy there too
