- Me and @AshThomasFilms step inside the historic grade II country Wicksteed Park and check out the wonderful array of attractions and rides located within the Kettering based theme park.
Wicksteed Park, is wholly owned by Wicksteed Charitable Trust & is a Grade II English Heritage Listed Park & Garden.
The park was founded in 1921 as part of the legacy of Charles Wicksteed. Charles was an entrepreneur and innovator and a successful engineer.
The park is home to a handful of rollercoasters and the Water Chute, one of the oldest water rides in the world!

i used to go here on school trips nice to see its still open we nearly lost the park during lockdown but glad its still open thanks for supporting it

I'm in the U.S. (by Kennywood Park) but I just love this park. I'm glad they are trying to keep it going and people seem to be supporting their efforts.

East park in hull has one of those classic water chute rides. You get absolutely drenched on that one. I believe the one in hull is 96 years old

This place is epic it’s got loads of rides and food stores a new playground and even a farm now!

Lightwater valley used to have the exact same ride on the lake....I must have been about 8 yrs so 33 years ago.....think it was called the devils cascade
Nice, I saw a Water Chute video from overseas earlier but that one was on wheels and literally dived into a lake... haha basically a makeshift Tidal Wave at Thorpe Park

can't believe you didn't do the death slide mate believe me it most defiantly aint for kids its located under the large astra slide that they put a roof over a few years ago ,

This park sadly needs alot of investment into it over 5 years its change soo much I went only a month ago and felt sad it was missing half there rides no shops at bottom area it was a mess the lake polluted and no go karts which was the main attraction its a shame
I thought it looked great but naturally don’t have previous years to compare it to. The Go Karts looked in a sorry state I must say but everything else certainly looked well maintained / landscaped
