I haven’t been prospecting since last September and I can guarantee if my tooth was gold I’d have smashed myself in a face with a hammer and panned the eff out of it….
I admire Gadsy's commitment to the scientific process; maintaining a healthy scepticism until a hypothesis has been tested. "I think there are some sticks there as well." *tests sticks* Premium stickage identified. This is why you two do so well at this gold prospecting malarkey.
Awesome video man, the flour gold adds up but the chunkier gold is more exciting to find. I'm always excited to see what you post. Mine your business 💪
Loved those chunkies in your pans, Chris. If I had enough of them I'd deck my smile out with such delights and, of course, there'd be a turquise and onynx Bluey! Loved the ADHD Montage! Been looking at some geological maps of NE Victoria and trying to work out how the original folding and uplifting from the west, plus the galcial effects you often mention, those that deposit moraine in and around the river systems and am wondering if you'd like to comment a bit more on these in relation to gold deposits you encounter evidence of, in your videos as you look for further gold.
Holy smokes....mr chris thats some very good gold man...totally awesome man👍✨️💫✨️💫✨️australian gold is amazink!🇱🇺ive got a little bit of australian gold aswell...🤭 hihihi😂Gold ! Greetings from the Netherlands 🎉🎉
Awesome video! Really fun to see all you experience and hard work paying off - and it really looked like you were having a gas capturing those chunk of gold. Wonderful video - and the weather looks pretty nice there! 👍👍
When u mentioned crushing EVERYTHING in the sluice I thought that was a GREAT idea. Imagine all the concentrates through the eons that didn’t have visible gold and people just discarded them! To this day there are piles of non visible gold across the world where placer mining has taken place.
Great video, as always Chris. I was wondering if you are going to be doing any hard rock prospecting?. Love your channel, keep your passion, and above all, do what you enjoy.
Seriously could be using those buckets more efficiently Chris, old timers did it, and has been forgotten over time, y I don't know when seams so simple
The 100 bucket challenge is going great! I also think that take is way more than respectful! 😮. Good job, dude. A grouse spot, I just wish my creek was a little less boulders and more manageable rocks like nugget creek. 😢 Cheers big ears
Heck ya them chunky monkeys added up to a big ol heap of bananas (you said to measure it in food so….) great episode thanks for sharing see you on the next one👍🏼👊🏼 p.s. the bigger gold is farther downstream on an outside bend it takes a while for the clay to break down in flood waters and it’s moving fast so go downstream a ways find a good outside bend and get those bigger pickers.😬 (trust me but don’t tell anyone the secret eh)
I keep noticing the Bunnings logo on the buckets and it make me associate their name with good times. I feel i need to go buy some stuff there! They sould sponsor this channel or something.
@VoGusProspecting Where did you get those wire baskets from? They are amazing. The ones that go into the bucket to wash aggregate. Awesome video. Thankyou
There is nothing more fun than having your friend looking for the shiny and I think maybe you find more shiny when your friend or just maybe you find Les because you are having fun with your friend sitting back having a few beers hey you probably don't show on video but you know what I have fun with my friend and I drink a lot of beer and I still find it shiny so you two enjoy yourself that's what it is all about enjoy having fun drinking beer maybe start up a barbecue sometime while you're doing it fry up some chicken
Born in Kyabram and grew up in Benalla, its an absolutely beautiful bit of country. Also spent some time out towards moyhu and by God is it beautiful out there, I always wondered if there was gold out in the creek we lived by.
I dont expect you'll read this comment from so far back but youtube insuscribing me is not the problem - I'm subscribed and notifications are on but I miss a hell of a lot of content! I just happen to find it when I click on the next video on the screen before it finishes! I'd also like to criticise you for using the term 'back burn' to clear out the blackberries and gorse to make your life easier! The term you should have used is 'hazard reduction burn'. A back burn is a fire fighting technique whe an active bushfire can be deprived of fuel by burning it before the bushfire front reaches important assets like a town or other houses. Hazard reduction burning is when they burn potentially dangerous fuel loads on the off season. You can't blame them from losing control of a back burn as the fire was already out of control and its a last ditch stand but losing control of a HR burn is not really acceptable but still happens and depending on the potential danger may be better than a wildfire later in the season!
I bet that Mick scored as much gold in half the time that you did Chris! He probably also scored double what Gadzee scored because he wasn't rock hopping! Let's have an episode where you really move some paydirt just to see how much you can recover in a day? Mark from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺 Melbourne
It was great to see that Mick wore his special OZ safety thongs. They are are fantastic at protecting your delicate tootsies from those big nasty rocks.😜
Is there such places where can find gold in swamps and bouys areas because they say every where in world u can find gold even if it's even nano dots of it
Chris.... My Grandfather was born in Wang... He used to blow things up....he was a powder monkey for the MMBW. should have heard his gold stories from Melbourne.
Hi there I am a subscriber and am heading north to the sunshine through Victoria Was wondering if you know of a spot where I could do some gold panning and have a day of fun playing about Tony
The only good sausage roll.. Is a homemade sausage roll.. Everything else is just sh!t & mostly breadcrumbs with something that resembles meat of some animal possibly from rats or stray cats... maybe even homeless people Anyway keep up the awesome job.. Love the videos.. Take care & be safe out there guys
Your front tooth is now made out of gold, but it must have a symbol on it.
You must choose either:
- pepper pig.
- bluey.
Peppa pig
Bluey
I haven’t been prospecting since last September and I can guarantee if my tooth was gold I’d have smashed myself in a face with a hammer and panned the eff out of it….
I'll take a Pepper Pig... Oink. .Oink.. Snort.. Snort
Bluey. She’s an Aussie. 🇦🇺
I love the hundred buckets challenge, very cool idea! Been watching from bucket one!👏👏👏👍👍👍
Sluicing for gold gave me the idea 💡 great series

I'm confused about what people are talking about. I'm on here watching him dig and finding gold. But everyone is talking about Bitcoin.

Hey mate have you tried using a hand winch to remove that log ? Put some pressure on it and dig around it should pop free
Keep all the gold, tin and lead and give a weight of all 3 at the end of your 100 bucket event
That's basically what I'm doing except for the tin.
Cheers for the vid Chris, always good :)

The key is to know if your area has major geological disturbances. Like fault lines from volcano's.
Idea. Series on creatures you encounter on prospecting trips. Both dangerous and safe.
So, how many times did you bang your head against that log? I know I would have left the creek with some lumps on my noggin.
