Hey Chris.... priming that pump, have you tried taking the outlet hose off the sluice, lay it in the water allow it to fill, lift it up to force water back to pump and start pump with intake in water...? This should work....
good job mate! hope you find a lot of gold nuggets in this river.. a very pleasant day.. greetings from your best friend, traditional Indonesian gold seeker ❤️🇦🇺🇮🇩⚒️⛏️👍👍👍👍
You are the man Chris👍🏻 I am limited to what I can do in Scotland as I do not have much money and high banking:dredging is illegal. I use my sluice when when I am out and watch most other ways to extract gold on your channel! I have learned so much from your you so I would like to thank you for that⛏🏴
High banking is illegal here in Australia too. Some people are just above the law.. might be the skinny jeans and soy milk that keeps the law enforcement away..
@@DirtyNastyProspecting if you have enough money you get to dig a massive hole and Drill national parks. What takes 60 men 3 years to do, will take a d11 1month and water 2 hours. It's the people that can think for themselves that highbank, and the soyboys that follow. The way it's been and always will be in all aspects in life.
@@DirtyNastyProspecting : Eduction dredging is illegal in Australia. However, highbanking is illegal in some, but not all, states of Australia. It varies. For example, in New South Wales, highbanking is prohibited only if a motorised, mechanical or venturi-effect pump is used to transport water to the highbanker.
I hear you no cash, sorry me too. I also hear the 'you can't do that ' . I'm now looking at what I can do. Hopefully that I will. What is it you can't do and can you get a round it
hey, for tarnished metals, heat up some salt and baking soda in a stainless steel pan, low heat on a stove top, that will remove a tremendous amount of tarnish, I would keep the copper separate from the silver though
As always your dog is so cute but that old man giving you the evil eye I felt scared he was just looking at that camera looking right into my room through my computer screen and giving me the chills but as always great gold great time great video thank you from the USA
It’s just a shame it’s against the law to dig holes in National parks. I’d hate to see what happens when National parks see all his videos using high bankers
As a kid I used to put my coins in some vinegar. Leave them soaked in a jar overnight and they will look shiny and brand new again. But keep the silver coins separated in a different jar from the other coins.
Hey Chris, I took a look and didn’t see where anyone suggested it, but I use these dredge pumps from Keene and Proline and they’re a pain until you know how to prime it right. You open the side valve and then at the foot valve pump it up and down in the water till it starts spitting out the valve. There’s a baffle in the screen end and it prevents the water from going back down, for it to work you have to keep in the water. Close the valve and start the motor, it’ll work nearly every time. If it’s still not pulling water, while the engine is going, go to the foot valve end and pump it up and down so water will start pulling. It’s designed for dredging so it’s a bit different, ping me if you have questions
That’s because he’s back at it again, illegally dredging National parks off camera!! Authorities are all over him thanks to people calling out the truth that he loves to hide and lie about.
Always keen for a new Video! The way you produce, edit and film is amazing. And then you go and share you amazing valuable knowledge with fellow fossickers ❤️ Keep up the great content!! 👍 😀
I recently brought all my pump equipment off thornado. Its been a absolute dream to work with. Only downside is 15kg is a bit of weight to carry at the end of the day after digging a huge hole. Top end you get a honda wx15 lighter and heaps of waterflow but you will pay 3x as much.
Now if you would put a high production jet tube on the back end of that box running your pump water into it and a hose off the back end of that jet tube and start running 2 to 4 yards an hour.
Drywashing the ore dump was a great idea! It self sorts for the heavier rocks, so you don't have to lug as much weight down the hill! Well, besides the drywasher... Nice gold!
Had to laugh when the dog stepped in the pan. Reminds me of a guy that his dog eat 1/2 an ounce of his gold off the table, he panned dog poop for 3 days. Lol
Chris I season my pans as you do but I use eucalypt leaves which I put on a bed of coals and as soon as they start to smoke p.ace the pan top of the leaves. Not only do you get the dark pans the oils in the eucalyptus works wonders to stop rust. I use the peppermint gumtree but I have used other varieties of eucalyptus. Regards Johnno.
@@VoGusProspecting oh ok cool i remember trying to prime a fire fighting pump years ago and gravity kept working against me and guess what the bleed valve on it was the same issue but fixed it by wrapping electrical tape around the thread and worked like magic
Hey Cris you were using a Keene dredge pump. They are not self priming.I use one all the time and it is up and running in about 30seconds.First you need a foot valve on your intake hose .Fill the hose and pump with water it will take off right away. You can shut down anytime and not lose your water.
For those copper based coins a paste of salt and vinegar (yeah not just for chips) is actually very good to the point of being quite aggressive at cleaning coins.. Yeah if they have "value" don't do it but for "cheaper" coins that have copper as the main base, this works wonderfully in about 15 minutes or so YMMV
Yours are definitely the best videos, great info, lots of tips on how to keep costs down, and you, Gaz and the pooches are very funny! Thanks guys, keep ‘em coming ❤️🏴

Hey mate, I have the same tumbler. I’ve had it for a couple years. I got put onto this varied shot to use. It has 3 different types of stainless steel shot which is perfect for all the detail on coins at some jewellery. Have a look on eBay. It also won’t rust like a lot of steel shot does. Also, what type of oil did you use when you burned it? Do you have any tips you wouldn't mind sharing about seasoning the pan this way? Thanks 🙏

You need to buy a none return valve on end of the hose at two high bank or the outlet of the pump
