My first comment aside as he inherited the mess. He is doing what all politicians should be doing, working only as a politician and not being board members or executives of other businesses while in office. Great podcast

My thoughts about voting is as follows: in order to be able to complain about the government/politicians, one has to vote. 😊
Ps - love the podcasts 🙋🏻

I'm one of those that had to stop meat products, and will not go back. My change in 2018 has saved my life. Its not a style like thing for most of us. I still watch all shows, that's why I will remain un-judgmental and stay friend with everyone...keep up the great shows!

Have no clue about Scottish politics and only a vague understanding of UK politics But as a kid the Minister of Agriculture was a farmer so farmers felt that while they would not get a lot they at least had someone at the table who was familiar with farming
    Interesting podcast as always

❤ Hey guys, a great podcast. I am in the USA, 84 year old woman, and learn so much from your podcast which I discovered a few months ago. Thanks for your interesting guests. Not being a very political person myself until “things “ happened here 😢, I appreciate this guest and Cammys remarks 👍👍. Cammy, you keep at it. 🤣. Not many people in the world who are independent thinkers. 🙏🥰 💙👳🏻‍♀️🇺🇸

What an interesting life Jim has had prior to becoming am MP. It must encourage the farming community knowing someone who's got a clue, is in an important role. Another Really interesting interview. Thanks Cammy and Iona. Did you take your socks and crocs with you to the US Cammy or are they floating round the hemisphere along with the rest of your luggage? 😊😊

WE vs THEM is a conversation in everything and needs to be addressed BUT I don’t think that farming gets the respect and recognition from townies 😢

A podcast from Iona's perspective would be great. How does she handle Cammy's big personality without hiding under the desk while turning red? How does she calm herself from throwing a shoe at him? How is she able to sit there and keep a straight face for even a few minutes? How on earth does she ever regain her composure when conversations start derailing? How does she cover her mouth and laugh then move on straight away? What kind of magic is that???
When I start to laugh, all is lost. I can not stop. There is no turning back.
I need to know the secret of this magic. I really, really need it!

She went to Wellington school in Ayr. It is a public school which ironically means she received a private style education, privately paid for.
In such schools you are educated to cope with life and succeed no matter what type of person you are.

I was listening to talk back on the way to work the other morning - NZ has been developing a vaccine for reducing methane emissions from ruminant livestock which is effective, affordable, and safe. Scientists in New Zealand based at AgResearch (NZ Government owned research institute for farming) have pioneered methane vaccine research for more than 15 years, making the breakthroughs needed to show it is possible

25 years of mistakes on the ferries is very justified to harass the snp about their years of failure

A previous Agricultural Minister in Northern Ireland was a farmer .I think it is seen as a very positive move among farmers as it is viewed as having someone with foundation knowledge as to the day to today issues farmers face. However it can be a bit if a 'Curates egg ' as if the minister puts into legislation something that doesn't sit well with farmers they have to deal to this long after their ministerial term of office.Brilliant what a gentleman with a sense of humour and a story to tell.

Great Video/ pod cast Cammy & Iona. As a Unionist it is good for me to listen to a Diehard Nationalist.
    Good to hear his story.
Well done for starting the Perth farmers Market.😊
