    I enjoy wiring and I rellay want to pull the pre-made harness back out of my car and buy the un-terminated or build your own harness from holley and rewire it. It's in a turbo Pontiac G8 with a 6.0L .030 over with forged internals and some cnc heads. Anyhow thanks for sharing man 👍 Subscribed.

    Would love to see basic wire twisting additionally could you show how to carry a shielded cable through a bulkhead connector is it as simple as cut and seal back the shield on both sides of the bulkhead or is it more involved

    • @theholleyefiguy
      @theholleyefiguy  4 роки тому +1

      you pass the shield thru the bulkhead just like every other wire , difference is you use a piece of clear (doesnt have to be clear just what i do) heat shrink to insulate it

    From how I'm hearing you describe how the fuel pump turns on is "when the ECU sees an RPM signal, the fuel pump will then turn on". What if I wanted the fuel pump to turn on when you turn the key on before cranking the engine? Will the Dominator do that? And also, will the Dominator provide an automatic initial KOEO fuel injector pre-squirt before the engine cranks?

    Maybe I missed something. But if you traditionally use the fuel pump relay output to power the coils and injectors... where do you usually pull from to power the fuel pump relay? And do you recommend another one of those MSD relays blocks to do it with? Thx!

    "High & tight" ? Some military experience somewhere, either personally or thru freinds &/or family?
    Regardless, I have said this before, these videos are so on point. And I have over 20 years experience building high performance engines & high end fabrications, so I can weed out those who are just making videos & those who really know what they're talking about. I would advise actually paying attention, & listening to these fine little details talked about in these.

    Devin, if you were using a bulkhead connector instead of the firewall grommet would you still do the sensor 5V, and Ground splits before the bulkhead connector, and the same for the other splits? This seems like it would really increase the pin count on the bulkhead connector. Your videos are great, and I appreciate the plug humor!

    I bought the 588-105 unterminated wiring harness for my 4.3 V6. I have a Syclone intake that I had modified to fit one the Vortec heads. I am putting the LS1 stock injectors and coil packs on it. I saw that the injectors have a connection from terminal 30 on the fuel pump relay. I will need to make a sub harness for the injectors. My question is, does that wire from terminal 30 go to on terminal on each injector?

    • @theholleyefiguy

      yes if building your own subharness youll need to get power from terminal 30 for each injector

    • @BLKMGK4

      Alcohol car, that stuff is waaay corrosive and nasty. Loom would soak it and hold it against the wire. It won't soak into heatshrink. A fire would suck!
