The Civil War is a GREAT thing to learn about!!! This year in Social Studies we learned about the Civil War and played parts of real people and their roles being a General, lutendent General, Captain, Corporal, or Private or more. We made posters and projects about the 8 most important things in the Civil War and our own something! That would be sooo cool if sometime I could show you my projects I made and show Jacob and Bailey, maybe Parker about slavery. Slavery in the Civil War was cruel but sooo fun to learn about. I was on the Confederacy so I knew about both sides all ready. I wonder if Parker got that info. I am proud of him sooo much. I definitely could not take in that info at Parker’s age!!!

They home school their 4 kids, Chris is just like the dad and Jess is basically the same person as the wife! Kids are into all the same stuff! They reenact several times a year. Everyone thinks I’m crazy but I wish I could get these 2 families together! I live in Michigan and I just wanna get them all together and shove them into the Henry Ford museum and greenfield village. Totally up their ally!
I would join the Lightning Brigade from Illinois and Indiana. Their commander, Colonel John T. Wilder, saw to it that his men got mules and Spencer rifles. With the mules they wouldn't get worn out marching from one battle to the next and the 7-shot Spencer rifles gave them an overwhelming advantage in firepower over the Confederate's single-shot, muzzle-loading rifles.
