If Jacob is going to be on crutches for a while, I would totally recommend crucheze pads. They will keep the crutches from hurting his arms, and some of them come with a pouch so he can carry stuff. I was on crutches for four months and they helped me so much!

Feel better soon Jacob!! My three year old broke her collar bone in September falling off her bed! And I had a TERRIBLE sprain in my foot last month. The doctor was shocked it wasn't broken! But I did it because I walked on it when my leg was asleep and stepped on it weird and bent my foot in half! But yes....hope you heal up asap!! Sending all the positive vibes!
Feel better Jakob. I broke my leg a few years ago and a helpful tip is make sure you are not slouching when you are using the crutches. Also you might get shin splits on your other leg which does hurt. It is caused by all the weight of your body on one leg and using that leg more. The way to heal it is just rest and taking pain medication will help. Hope this helps.

When I was in 5th grade I played softball. I had hit my first homerun and was sliding into home and the catcher landed on my ankle. She literally crushed it. I broke my ankle in 3 places and my growth plate. Luckily it healed nicely and I didn’t need major surgery. Get better Jacob! ❤️

Ouch i feel so bad for Jacob and I hope he is not in to much pain now and that the recovery goes well and just keep reminding him that with time he will overcome this and if he Is scared to do anything just tell him that fear is just another reason to try your hardest you ever had and don't give up no matter what happens because bravery is powerful and rewarding

Crutches are tough to learn how to use. I tore my ACL and had it replaced with a donor a few years ago. I was on crutches for 2 weeks, and it looks like Jacob is doing better on them than I did! Feel better soon, Jacob!

I just had surgery on the 14th of February. It was on my right ankle. So i understand the crutches, elevating and resting. It sucks😕. Get well soon bud!
I fell off the high bar in gymnastics and broke my tibia and fibula and the urgent Care said I was fine and it was just a sprain. I went to an orthopedic doctor the next day and got a cast for 4 weeks. Then I got 3 more casts following the 1st cast. 3 out of 4 were not waterproof or weight barring so I was on crutches for about 3 months. Feel better Jacob ❤️
