Another use for the plastic zippered pencil pouches....When I was the caregiver for my elderly mother, I attached one to the interior metal garage door. In it I had a list of my mother's medications, business cards from her doctors, her duplicate medical card and copy of the medical power of attorney, etc. In the event of a medical emergency, it was easy to grap this packet and go.
The little door alarms were a godsend for my mother while she was caring for my father who had dementia. She didn’t have to worry about him leaving the house without her knowing.
I have the door alarms on every door. My toddler grandchildren love to open the doors. When they come to grandma's home, I know where they are at all times. No going out to the street or the pool in the back yard.
When my son was a toddler, I was constantly searching for a tiny screwdriver! Buy them all, people with babies!!!
Are they going to rename the store "4 for 5"??? 😂
By the time they make new signage it'll be 4 for $10 🙄

The hooks from DT go on ok, but they rip off the paint from the wall when you go to remove them. I’ve used 3M Command hooks for years, and know how to remove them cleanly (slowly, straight down). That didn’t work with the DT hooks.
YES! And Kallie KNOWS BETTER TOO! She knows damn well that these will rip your drywall lol WHY???? She rarely mentions Dollar Tree anymore which is fine! Don’t care! lol but she seriously failed her fans & followers by this! Renters be ready to pay hundreds in damages!!!! Get them for the hooks but throw that glue away lol use the brand name Command strips adhesive strips!
The crank pencil sharpeners were such great quality. They lasted for decades.

Ive carried a ziplock bag with first aid stuff in for 44 year's since i first had my son & i still carry one, for my grandchildren & any one who needs it.

I’ve had no luck with the hooks that are command dupes. The one I had in the kitchen took a big section of paint off the wall.
It was the Rachel Perry lip balm (came in a yellow lil tub). I had every flavor in college (mango, mint etc) but the yellow banana coconut was the original iconic one.

And I am saying that as a minimalist. It is so easy to fall into the trap of buying more things to "be" more minimalist. But the most minimalist things, are the things you don't buy.
Really liked the idea of corralling the different electronic chargers and cords in plastic sleeves inside a binder.❤
We love that the thin flashlights are magnetic too, we keep them on the side of our fridge for unexpected power outages to grab quickly.
They are great to have on hand… but the button batteries inside are deadly if ingested! The soft plastic sides of the light are not a safe housing for button batteries - please don’t let the kids out of your sight with those!
Yep, I have one of those thin flashlights on our fridge. The fridge happens to be right next to the front door of our apartment, too, so it’s the perfect place to leave a flashlight in case of a serious power outage. :)

Raising my hand now....had lots of practice to ask teacher if I could sharpen my pencil; yes, we had to ask! Really got pencils to just the right point. Had one for years that suctioned-cup to table; again, just the right point. I literally wore it out after about 40 years of faithful service! Haven't found one since that is its equal! The little flashlight I have one in my mailbox. Sometimes I am checking it at night and I don't like sticking my hand in it so the flashlight comes in handy.

i love the little cardboard present boxes you can get at dollar tree. Every year I make a few batches of fudge and those boxes are a perfect fit for a bunch of my fudge squares individually wrapped in plastic wrap. My mom gives them to her coworkers as the perfect little holiday gift.
I have a wall sharpener for my children. I like that it can accommodate thin and thick pencils. One can get those on the WM on line.
They have the smaller kind in their backpack.
I can attest for the slipper socks. I have had mine for 3 years and they have holes in them. They keep ur feet warm without being to warm, they feel like ur wearing shoes, they have non slip beads and if u wanna go outside quick you dont have to take them off because if you try hard enough they fit in ur shoes 😂

Lol schools actually went back to those sharpeners. I have had them in every classroom I have worked in lol.

I got the disco light for kids, it lights across the whole room! I also found magnetic hooks in the stationary section, which have a good hold but can scratch if you slide them.

we have one of those steel crank pencil sharpeners mounted on my workbench in my garage. My writing major kid troops out to the garage periodically to sharpen her pencils. it's the best pencil sharpener ever (although it didn't come form Dollar Tree). Love your videos. :)

I still have mine too. My kids would go through the battery operated ones like crazy. When I helped in their class I was sent to the teachers lounge to sharpen pencils since the teacher had to hide the electric one in the classroom. Kids would break their pencils just to sharpen them. It got to be too distracting.😂

@@tracyd2598 some were super HUGE like 4” tall and maybe just over 1” wide (circular), shaped, regular chapstick sized and even the little tin slide tops…I honestly do not know what happened to them 🤔 now I think about it but then again that was 40 (🥴) years ago too! Now I buy them for my grandbabies (my granddaughter is 27 and I actually bought her an advent calendar (12) with them inside! Wow talk about memories!!!

When my husband was in the military and we were young renterrs I was thankful my dad was a professional builder, and he had taught me how to hang things correctly, and how to patch the holes so that no one could tell there had been a hole. I always passed my move out inspections and got my full deposit back.

Those Command strip removable hook dupes are NOT RENTER FRIENDLY!!! They rip your drywall off! My Apt complex charges HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS $$$$$$$$ for the damage!!!! Get the DT hooks but throw the adhesive away and use Command strip for renters! She knows better too so why She says these are great is beyond me!!! 😳🤷🏼♀️ they may go up easy but YOU’LL NEVER GET THEM OFF. EVER.
I got the regular ones off the wall at work. I slid a knife under it, and got the hook off, then rubbed with my fingers to get the adhesive off.
