I'm glad you enjoyed the Costco Day video! In June, I'm looking for deals on summer essentials like outdoor furniture, grills, and pool supplies. I also love browsing the grocery section for discounted snacks and pantry staples. What about you? What deals are you hoping to score this month at Costco? Let me know in the comments below!

I can personally vouch for the Fanttik cordless screwdriver. I bought mine when I was rebuilding my computer and it has some power behind it. It has 3 levels of torque depending on what job you'd be using it for. The carrying case is compact and easy to store and the screwdriver has a nice bright light on the end of it when in use. Very very good price at $49 and the tips are magnetic. 10/10

Another tip is to look for a creamy yellow spot on the bottom of the watermelon, which indicates that it has been sitting on the ground and ripening. Overall, using a combination of these methods can help you choose a delicious and ripe watermelon for your enjoyment.

7:00 this flashlight is great. After buying one for nighttime walking (it has 3 levels of brightness), I bought one for each of the cars as well for an emergency light.
Also since LED lights of this power do get warm and can smolder/burn if the lens is on your skin or face down on an object, it also has an auto-power off if it detects it is face down on an object. (it mentions on the package as well)

As someone whose family grew watermelons in North Carolina, I take great pride in my ability to ALWAYS pick a sweet one. The last time I was in Costco I couldn't resist helping a group of folk asking amongst themselves how to pick a sweet watermelon. You were right on identifying the yellow or pale spot as a signifier of sweetness, but for the wrong reason. The pale spot signifys that the melon has been sitting so to speak with it face to the sun getting more ripe/sweet than its underside--the pale patch. Also look for a bit of stem left attached. While I've got you on the line, for those of us who are trying to eat more healthy how about a couple of strolls through the fresh fruit and veggie aisle. Thanks for the great content.

@@nadogrl I was going to say yes, but, then I thought of those smaller round ones. I don't them having a spot. Years ago, I tried to grow cantaloupes and came across an article that said when the melon started to grow to put it in a pair of pantyhose. That would keep them off the ground and away from critters. Not saying that's how the watermelons are grown but, perhaps something similar.

Additionally, check the weight of the watermelon, as a heavier fruit typically means it is juicier and riper. Finally, give the watermelon a gentle tap - a hollow sound indicates ripeness, while a dull thud may mean the fruit is not ready to be eaten yet.

Also, the female watermelon is round instead of oval and is sweeter.

Sat in the rocking chair. Felt kind of soft, like it was already bending. Not bad though for under $200. I also really like the Orvis button-up men's shirts that Costco carries a few times each year (not mentioned in this video). They are some of the best shirts I have for only $15 each. Orvis sells a version of the shirt of well over $70, likely a different fabric. But the ones at Costco have proven to be wrinkle-free, stain resistant, and durable and definitely from Orvis by the name on the tag inside the shirt and name stitched on the front pocket.. My entire work wardrobe is essentially those shirts at this point.

I often watch your channel, but am not one to run out and buy stuff unless I really need it. However, those headlamps were a must-buy! We take our dogs when we go RVing so we have to take them out before bedtime and again when we get up in the morning (and occasionally in the middle of the night). Out here in the western part of the US, I worry about coyotes, and it's difficult to keep both dogs in sight with a single flashlight. These awesome lamps throw out lots of light in almost 180 degrees in front of me! Thanks for solving one of our biggest worries!

@@WaterKing9 Correct, but given that hardly anyone seems to understand proper usage of apostrophes that'll be lost on most.

You are so right about choosing a sweet watermelon, at least 90% of the time it’s sweet. The produce guy at Pavilions told me that years ago and more times than not, I’ve selected good ones. However, I was in Costco last week, selected one only for it to be fairly blah 🙄 price at my local warehouse was six dollars and some change!

Thank you for doing these videos. I was at Costco the other day, had my list of 3 things to get, found 'em, put 'em in my buggy, then stopped and literally said to my friend, "I haven't seen a video to know what I should be buying this month." She laughed and said, "Theeeese are the deals you need..." Ha! Thank you for doing these videos and your channel. Keep up the awesome work!

The 32 COOL chino pants saved me in 100+ degree weather the last few days. It cools quickly in air conditioning and a light breeze outside also helps! Glad I got two pairs!

I’m going to add, if you add up the cost of actually making a cheesecake that is as big as Costcos, you would easily spend as much on the cream cheese alone. It’s not a bad deal at all.
