    So fun that a dermatologist uses DT products occasionally when 6 year olds are at Sephora spending hundreds.. they have no idea what they're doing.. But silly parents giving their golden child who dies no wrong huge monthly allowance for Sephora. Dr dray please do a PSA to stop kids from using retinols that they don't need

    I've been using the green tea cleansing milk and the smooth and lift collagen cleanser and really like them both. The milk cleanser melts my make up off and it doesn’t leave a residue behind.

    Until very recently, I had never tried any skin care from the DT. But I got a couple of different eye creams and face washes from the Global Beauty brand and I actually like them. Nothing will take the place of my Cerave cleansing oil. I love it too much. I use that at night as part of a double cleanse and use the Global Beauty wash in the morning. They do the job and the eye creams are very hydrating. I'm sure many people will appreciate your DT recommendations. With the state of the economy, many of us are on a pretty tight budget. Thanks, as always, Dr Dray. Happy Wednesday! I hope you have a blessed evening. 💚

    Skincare doesn't have to be complicated. On the contrary the 3 basics are going to make a huge change not only by the simplicity but less risk of finding what causes the irritation 😊❤. Dollar tree skincare hunt is always fun 😊❤ Doctor Andrea.

    I have used Vitamin E oil on abdominal surgical scars without a problem. Years ago I used Vitamin E oil for six months, on old acne scars. I used Vitamin E oil capsules. The facial scars almost disappeared. I never had any irritation.

    I always begrudgingly click on any derm video because usually I’m finally to the point in my search that I’m just like ..fine. Ya know? But I always click yours having that attitude and then before I know it, I’ve watched like three or four videos of yours. Not only can I not get enough of your accent, I find it absolutely adorable…but I’m just so jealous/drawn in by how intelligent you are in general not to mention how knowledgeable you are in regards to your job. And I guess that’s supposed to come with the education you received in your pursuit as a dermatologist but you’d be surprised at how many people just really don’t know what they’re saying and their advice either results in ppl buying overpriced and overrated skincare or it results in them damaging their skin more and leads to expensive appointments, medications and procedures being to be done. I’ve fact checked everything I’ve been told by you that Ive wanted to try and even if I have to jump to Google Scholar to find the real facts, you always come thru. So thank you. For everything you do. ❤

      @@standdownrobots_ihaveoldglory I know what you mean. I too cried tear of joy not because of the clear skin but because the Skyrizi had taken away my foot pain. For the longest my Podiatrist told me it was plantar fasciitis and prescribed orthotics and cortisone shot. None of it worked. It wasn’t until I started taking Skyrizi that I noticed my foot pain had disappeared. Turns out the pain was caused by psoriatic arthritis. I never saw the podiatrist ever again. Exactly same - I'm 53, using it for makeup remover (isn't that what the old Neutrogena MUR was 😂?), very curious how to utilize it more!

      She says you can use it as your oil cleanser. I’ve been doing that since it turned cold because I find it’s not as drying as using the balms or wash off oil cleansers. Great at removing make up.

    Thank you for the great video! May I ask: can one use the DT vitamin E oil (with mineral and coconut oils) as a hair serum or styling product for dry hair?

    • @db-gb5xi
      @db-gb5xi 10 місяців тому +1

      I don't think she's ever mentioned it for hair. But you can do a search, dr dray hair oil or dr dray dry hair oil, and see which videos come up. She's talked about the derma e hair oil and the oribe hair oil in videos before.

    Hi Dr Dray, so what would you recommend to put on a thyroidectomy scar? I used silicone scar cream recommended by my surgeon, but it was so sticky. I then switched to silocone patches and used them for a few months. I still have a pretty prominent scar 6 months post surgery. Is there a product that will still help? Thx

    • @db-gb5xi
      @db-gb5xi 10 місяців тому

      I would check her video, how to prevent scars after surgery. She also has other videos on scars like, top 5 ingredients for scars.

    • @ApohMay

      I'm surprised the silicone sheets didn't work for you. I used them religiously after my surgeries. After my first, my scar turned into a huge keloid and the sheets brought that down over half in a couple months when I had my second thyroid surgery and the doc cut it down more. Continued using the sheets and of course the scar is going to be visible, but it's flat with a little indent.
      I think it also helped that I pretty much constantly had one on. Out of 24 hours, I'd maybe go without for about an hour to shower and whatnot, then put another on.

    I can't use bar soap from when I was a kid. My skin itches sooooo bad instantly after use😅I tried once as an adult, and I had to take another shower to calm my skin, it was unbereable. I remember being itchy as a kid, it was pretty horrible....

      The “glowing” line with the vitamin C from the same brand is excellent too I love the Glowing products as well. They make makeup wipes too from both the glowing and the smooth and lift line and they’re both unscented and they are the best for my sensitive skin I have ever found and at such an affordable price. The "glowing" moisturizing cream is awesome and I love the "Smooth and Lift" moisturizer almost as much. I'm not as crazy about the cleaners.

    Good Ol Hydrogen Peroxide has always been great for minor cuts & abrasions. Ex- if you’re playing with someone’s cat, or an exotic animal (which I ❤️) and the little booger scratches you.., you should always rinse with with water, dry, then spray or dab some peroxide on the cut/s. Just like when you were a kiddo and fell off your bike, skates, etc. Anyway the peroxide bubbles taking away any bacteria 🦠. Especially if an animal had 💩 on his/her claws. Rinse, put some good Ol Neosporin or the generic kind on the cut/s. And then follow with a bandage. Some put rubbing alcohol on instead. That’s good too. But not on the face.. you’re 100% right about that. Same with alcohol. I had a friend who would clean her face with rubbing alcohol. Oh that drove me bonkers when we were teens. 😂 I (like you stated ) live to put Peroxide in the sink area to get rid of icky stuff. Great informative vid. Thx so much Dr. Dray. ❤️&✌️👍👍
