I don't care if this is advertising.. I'll take anything to get rid of the feeling of being stabbed from the inside. Many people don't understand that if your period is really bad it literally feels like you're internally injured.
I once had a bad migraine attack whilst my uterus was stabbing me from the inside & my neighbor had to call the ambulance since i lost sight and a part of my hearing from the pain
Moonlight_Howl ok.. well you sound really uneducated so there's no sense in arguing with you a guess.. i understand what a period is.. if you did ANY research whatsoever on sulfurs role in hormone function and th permeability and detoxification of cells then you would know how much of an effect it has on period pains.. those are just facts.. what you are saying is just angry opinions..
django chubbinz What I'm saying is angry facts. I am a female and I go through these every month and nothing helps except for heat, no matter what I do. You sound like the uneducated one. Try having just ONE period like mine, see how wrong you are.
I hate how something as primitive as periods are always disregarded because "every woman has them". Sure women have periods but NOT ALL WOMEN ARE THE SAME.
Same thing happened to my mom in school! She woke up in the nurses and they just gave her Advil. She went to the doctor and they gave her birth control which helped ease the pain but that was in the 90s so idk :/
Same! She's in a lot of the period related videos and I've always felt so bad for her, but now knowing that she can ease the pain and get out of it a little more is like a weight lifted off my shoulders for her
+Rebecca Harrington you should try it then girl! something amazing about cannabis is that there are no major side effects from taking it, unlike man made pharmaceutical drugs. So it is a lot healthier for your body (and cheaper 😉)
I have endometriosis and the fact that this isn't legal in my state, makes me want to cry. When I'm on my period, I can't even walk. Functioning is impossible.
+LizzieNinja listen I know you can't spell but you should really start trying! And you can and they said in the video use the oil from the plant and you can also put weed in brownies!
Hey! I know bunches about weed because i used to smoke it more than three times a day. Weed definitely does do a lot of good, but it can most definitely do bad too. you have to use it responsibly like any other medication out there. For me, repetitive use like I did made me suicidal. So it works differently for different people, and all in moderation!!
The cost of having periods every month is crazy. We live in a evolved society and yet women have to pay for pads/tampons etc. Why does it cost to have periods. Why does it cost to have something we can't help having. It's ridiculous.
+Hyungwonhae C. The government should be paying for it. They should once a month send home to every woman period suplies. I just don't see why water can be free but periods can't.
I'm a man but have a family member with Endometriosis. My heart hurts every time I hear her when she locks herself in her room. Shameless plug or not....I'm showing her this. Thank you for the share.
Yes yes yes!! I have serious period pains too and if I don't take midol within the hour I find out I'm on my period I will throw up, my body shuts down, i get headaches and migraines (which I don't ever have other then when I'm on my period) I go into fetal cause it hurts so bad, and my skin gets really clammy. To know there is hope and other alternatives makes me so happy. Midol has decreased my appetite and it sucks when I need to take it before bed because it has caffeine, so I'm stuck just staying awake all night. My periods have taken a toll on my daily life and I'm so happy there are products like these.
Have you considered hormonal birth control? I've been on the pill since I was 16 or 17 because my periods are very unpleasant. With the vomiting and the headaches and all that. With the pill, I actually only get maybe 3 or 4 periods a year and they're super light because I don't think my uterus puts in the work to make the full lining anymore.
My state just legalized medical marijuana for terminally ill patients, still waiting for it to be available legally for other medical problems. I have endometriosis, a seizure disorder and recently had a brain tumor removed. All of which canabis can help
+Laura Croft if you're talking to both of us I can't I'm already vegetarian and I have too many health problems to go vegan and my doctor even told me my body couldn't handle it so
After seeing Lara in all of these videos trying all of these different products to try and help relieve her pain, it really makes me happy to see that she finally got to try a product that worked for her and has made her period a bit more bearable.
Crazy how cigarettes can literally give you cancer is legal but marijuana which is proven to help cancer patients and do many other wonderful things is illegal
It's illegal here but only because the can't tax it since it's a plant, it's not because "it's so bad" it's because the government can't make money off it bc they are that greedy
Same girl, the only thing that ever works for me to even function is 2 or 3 extra strength tylenol, super loose sweatpants and being curled in a ball with snacks nearby
girl yes! I've used naproxen, horse-pill motrin (like 800mg in one pill. my mom had extra after her foot surgery and it was a beautiful thing!), and now I use extra strength percogesic. It makes me tired, but it works. Being curled in a ball helps too.
Every time I'm reminded of the excruciating pain that some people experience while on their periods, I remember how lucky I am. I don't experience debilitating pain, and I don't have endometriosis or any other medical condition that makes period pain unbearable. But I can say that I'm glad people are finding this useful; I feel really bad for people who go through that kind of pain.
Thank you for this video! There have been days where I've thought my period was literally killing me. When all I can do is lay in a tub vomiting and wondering how anyone can survive that kind of pain.... anything that can even take the edge off is a damn miracle!

Then, surprisingly i realised that jogging before a day or two before my period is an effective way for "no pain at all" period week. Just sharing this hopefully it may be effective to some other people too 😊
Yes! That is so helpful! Sometimes if I exercise enough (even walking, hiking, swimming, bike riding) my period is a lot lighter and of course less cramping. I recommend simple exercises for a week before. It helps so much
I'm in high school and i have the worst period cramps i can't eat anything for the fisrt couple of days because of the pain. I wish it will get better because i can't handle it anymore
Me on my period: Day one- *screams in frustration* Day two- *sobbing uncontrollably* Day three- *unable to walk* Day four- *unable to move at all (good thing I sleep on my stomach with a pillow under me)* Day five- *staring lifelessly at the ceiling* Day six- *eating weird stuff like black olives and jalapeño chips* Day seven- *banging head against wall (there is a slight dent in my wall from this)* Day eight- *sobbing with happiness cause it's the last day of this torture*
Whenever I get my period I have to stay in bed because my legs and back hurt so so much to the point I can't even walk. I remember one day I thought I was dying, I've never felt so much pain in my life, and I've broken bones and stuff so imagine
i had that once as well, because its period pain pll are just like every woman gets it get over it. Too think its 2016 and we still have to go through this
This made me very happy because they have used Laura for different videos with period claim products. I am so happy it worked for both of them and hope this helps many more women who suffer! ❤
pls also recognize all the trans people that also must suffer period pains. I may not be trans, but I can certainly support them and help spread awareness in any way I can
You would only know if you had the same pain every month or chronic pain every day. (Talking about pain that you would use morfine for because it is that bad)
+BlackManTheSavior yeah you definitely don't have any pain issues, otherwise you would not see this as a joke. Yes I was serious, because I thought you were.
In the beginning of the video I wanted to cry for that girl. I can only imagine the amount of pain she could have been in. It truly is sad how people don't bother to pay attention to these kinds of problems women are having. I'm so glad that Woopie is doing something for women who suffer with it.
I wish that women and men could switch roles for a month and men can see what periods are like and having the pressure to met the standards everyone wants you to be. Then us girls can just relax on the couch and play video games
Honestly I'm a woman but this is just a load of crap. Yes, I think men temporarily switching bodies with us would be a fun idea (though it will probably and most literally never happen) but to think that men do not have any social or physical responsibilities or pressure is pretty stupid. And it's a lame idea to think that respect should be given to women for simply being women.
Some weeaboo shitzu If you look at places like Saudi Arabia it is not so fun to be women. Women get murdered for the pure reason of being in the way. They have to cover up everything and get sexually harassed if they do so much as show their hair. It is very rude to call me stupid for an opinion and if you think it is so lame you do not have to comment and call me stupid. Just think if you were a woman in the middle east and you had your life at steak for being a woman. Then you wish you were a man.
wow really wishing the uk would trial this. (illegal even for medical use unfortunately). They are right thow, period pain and endometriosis, are seen as "women's troubles", and not a big deal. 1 in 2 females have significant pain that restricts their life, from period cramps, and 1 in four females have endometriosis. That's a huge number of days missed from school or work, of prescription bills, of hospitalisations, of invasive surgerys, of miscarriages, of chronic pain, of people crippled, and of deaths. All hidden under the condescending banner of "women's troubles". The banner that tells you "there, there have a sweetie". That woman can't really be in pain, that's men's work. And while this continues these people will get little to no help.
I have lower abdomen pains that feel like if I sit in the wrong position that there is a sword cutting it's way out of me all while I'm in he fetal position. I used to have to sit in a hot bath for hours because its the only thing that helps but I am wondering if there is an age limit for this bc I am 14
I’m 25 and still have worst pain during my period that I’ve ever felt in life. I’ve been vomiting every period since I can remember be a the pain is so bad. And on top of that I have sever IBS symptoms on the first day of my period. I will try anything at this point.
I've had endometriosis and adinomiosis since I've started my period at 11. From being on monthly injections to fake my body into menopause to countless surgeries I have yet to find something that helps without taking five hundred pills. I have got to try this. Really really helpful video. Thank you BuzzFeed
I have had sever cramps, to a point where I couldnt do much of anything. Since I started the pill most of any pain is gone now. But I also know that the pill is not fit for everyone, so I'm happy that this is an option for others who struggle with unwanted period symptoms.
Somewhere I heared that that cramps feel like a dementor in your belly. And thats exactly how I feel, deeply depressed, cold and in horrible pain. Chocolate helps when you are on your period and helps after a dementor was nearby. So does weed. It makes people happy, which is against the dementors nature, and, in that way, banishes it from your belly.
+Marissa Kay hes saying since he doesnt have a uterus and doesnt have to go through anything girls do he cannnot have an opinion because he has no expierence
I am SOOO happy these ladies found something that alleviates the pain (especially Lara-- Ive seen her in previous buzzfeed vids)!! Its already incredibly frustrating to deal with cramps, I can only imagine what they feel:/
+Future Hendrix Because Men like to pretend they're educated on every topic, especially when it has absolutely nothing to do with them. Instead they try to force their ignorance on everyone else. Superior? Hahaha.... thats a lot of denial to be in.
I'm soooooo thankful that people (esp. women) are allowing cannabis to bring them increased health. What a blessing!!! (As Granny always said, "All use is medicinal.")
I was recently diagnosed with endometriosis and the fact that this is a possibility to make me feel better every month almost makes me cry happy tears. I'm definitely going to be checking this out
I am so happy that Laura finally found something that works for her. Watching her story, and seeing these videos where she tries something and it fails made me really upset. I'm so happy that she can finally feel normal and she doesn't have to go through as much pain as she normally would on her period.
I don't care if this is advertising.. I'll take anything to get rid of the feeling of being stabbed from the inside. Many people don't understand that if your period is really bad it literally feels like you're internally injured.
amen!
you need more sulfur in your diet you can yake a natural form of sulfur at walmart called msm which can alleviate period pain completely
I don't have Walmart here.. I'm european. :/ But thanks for the info. I'll look up sulfur products.
I once had a bad migraine attack whilst my uterus was stabbing me from the inside & my neighbor had to call the ambulance since i lost sight and a part of my hearing from the pain
polkadotsla Everyone is different in terms of communication. I think the internet is a great place to share stuff and relate to one another.
I'm honestly so happy that the girl with endometriosis finally found something that works for her!
did you see the tens unit video? I felt so bad for her! I'm happy for her, too.
Yeah cuz she's in every video about period pain... It makes me sad
+
Same😃
yes so true
Sadly she was SO right when she said that if it was men having these cramps, there would already be thousands of remedies out there.
Yea because men can't handle pain lol
period pain is completely unnecessary and is a symptom of humans Detachment from Mother Nature
+django chubbinz you need to get more sulfur in your diet in order to alleviate period pain completely

How no one is talking about that they talked to Whoopi Goldberg???
Well, it's a free add for her product, so it's not too surprising.
I can barely even understand what you said...
Ikr
I had to reread this like ten times and I still don't understand what you're saying
+L F is no one else shocked that they're talking to Whoopi Goldberg? Basically
I hate how something as primitive as periods are always disregarded because "every woman has them". Sure women have periods but NOT ALL WOMEN ARE THE SAME.
Nah you good fam you good
amen
BLESS THIS COMMENT
are you seriously considering trans-women into this talk about periods? this doesn't exactly help the situation
Yes and it makes me mad
i was watching this crying, cuz my cramps are so bad, once I passed out in high school because of them.
Same thing happened to my mom in school! She woke up in the nurses and they just gave her Advil. She went to the doctor and they gave her birth control which helped ease the pain but that was in the 90s so idk :/
I also had cramps that bad, but then I found out that I have endometriosis. You should definitely go see an OBGYN!

I take 8 tylenols, 6 Mortrins and 2 Benadryls to get through my period and I still feel the pain slightly. This could be a miracle for me
evileyez504 get you some cbd
Why Benadryl???
I've been given morfin, it works well
Girl you could get an ulcer! I put tiger balm on my pelvis as often as I need to.
Motrin is like a placebo when I have my menstrual. One that doesn't work.
I feel so happy for the girl with endometriosis 😄
Same! She's in a lot of the period related videos and I've always felt so bad for her, but now knowing that she can ease the pain and get out of it a little more is like a weight lifted off my shoulders for her
Ikr! It must really hurt! The common cramps are bad already.
Same as a suffer of endometriosis, and being on 7 different types of medication. Some thing like the this seems so great 😃

I'm a man and i will try this, just for the hight effect. 😂
I'm so convinced, if men had period's this world would be a completely different place.. I'm not even exaggerating, I mean drastically different!
I was hoping she said 0 to 100 real quick
I was waiting for that lol
Lol she was probably trying to avoid saying it
+sweetlife6299 that's I thought

I have endometriosis and the fact that this isn't legal in my state, makes me want to cry. When I'm on my period, I can't even walk. Functioning is impossible.
+Jaime Crabtree that's how it feels for me occasionally but not as bad. should I see a doctor?
Yea. I have them even when I'm off my period. Its somewhat close to my period tho. *****
K. I will. Thanks! *****

You could try cbd oil? I live in a conservative regressive state and its legal here.

Can't the world just accept that weed does good and not bad!
not all weed us good fit you, it can be helpful for medical purposes, but when used recreationally, such as smoking it, it can be really harmful
+LizzieNinja listen I know you can't spell but you should really start trying! And you can and they said in the video use the oil from the plant and you can also put weed in brownies!

Actually alcohol is worse than weed. People have died more of alcohol because of overdosing and crashes while drunk.
As a guy, i don't see anything wrong with this. I'm all for it if it helps females out there.
💕
Thanks!
Why are you stating something so obvious? *Slow claps for you*
+mm1996 Dude just shut up
why would there be anything wrong with this ??? lmao

I fully support people who use medical marijuana, I personally am about to start for, cerebral palsy, anxiety, and depression.
Good luck 👍🏾 I hope that it will help
I hope it helps you! As soon as it's legal for me to do so, I will definitely try marijuana for my anxiety, depression and insomnia.
Weed won't help your depression
I hope it helps you!! im getting my medical card once i finally turn 18. Its helped me through my anxiety and depression and PTSD so much!!!
It depends on person to person. It helps some people, but not others. It's the same as any other kind of medicine: it may or may not work.

Dear mother nature,
i'd like to cancel my monthly subscription.
I did it with Weedborn CBD products!
i cried watching this, i need to try weed because everytime i get period i feel like i am going to die :(
Thank you for this video! There have been days where I've thought my period was literally killing me. When all I can do is lay in a tub vomiting and wondering how anyone can survive that kind of pain.... anything that can even take the edge off is a damn miracle!
To any poor soul with bad cramps:
1. No caffeine
2. Drink lots of water
3. Eat dark chocolate
4. Exercise
5. Eat pineapples
6. Don't eat too many carbs
7. Don't have added sugars or artificial sugars
8. Eat many vegetables and protein
9. No dairy products
10. No alcohol
11. Masturbate
Thanks
i dont wanna masturbate when i have blood comin out of me though

I'm in high school and I run cross country and track, it never seems to help with all the pain.
You know what, it really does help. When I was a runner, if cramps didn't have me stuck in bed, running helped.

As someone who rarely gets any cramps on my period, I feel really really bad for you. Maybe you should try the products in the video? 😂
It sounds like *you* could have endometriosis, or other cysts, etc Have you seen a doctor? This is enough to warrant seeing one.

This made me very happy because they have used Laura for different videos with period claim products. I am so happy it worked for both of them and hope this helps many more women who suffer! ❤
I'm so glad I discovered this video. It's rare to see anyone talking about PMDD! Thank you buzzfeed.
pls also recognize all the trans people that also must suffer period pains. I may not be trans, but I can certainly support them and help spread awareness in any way I can
Trans FtM or Trans MtF that mimics cramps or both?
Friendly reminder that they make up less than 1 percent of the population. They don't need to be in everything.
Mortadda But it's nice to have representation doe.
friendly reminder that 1 percent of the population is approximately 74,049,767 so representation is nice

"I am not lookin to get high, I'm only looking for sweet relief" What's the difference?
You would only know if you had the same pain every month or chronic pain every day. (Talking about pain that you would use morfine for because it is that bad)
L3vines It was a joke, saying that getting high once in a while is like a sweet relief. Christ, these SJW's have no sense of humour.
+BlackManTheSavior yeah you definitely don't have any pain issues, otherwise you would not see this as a joke. Yes I was serious, because I thought you were.
L3vines I don't have any "pain issues", are you generalizing my painful situations using baseless, sexist stereotypes? I'm triggered.
I agree. weed generally helps with my period cramps, it always helps me to chill.
In the beginning of the video I wanted to cry for that girl. I can only imagine the amount of pain she could have been in. It truly is sad how people don't bother to pay attention to these kinds of problems women are having. I'm so glad that Woopie is doing something for women who suffer with it.
What good is this product if it only caters to those in California?? 😔 I'm in Texas.
Same girl
same
its all about demand, so DEMAND IT!
Im in Sweden
The business just started you cant expect it to be everywhere. you could try to order it online
I Thought They Were Gonna Smoke 😂😂😂
Indonesian women drink turmeric juice with brown sugar brew. Works miraculously after two cups.

ikr mine is always here or due when they post these
Frr sameee
I literally just finished mine yesterday lol
I wish that women and men could switch roles for a month and men can see what periods are like and having the pressure to met the standards everyone wants you to be. Then us girls can just relax on the couch and play video games
Oh screw you.
Jason Deroule Especially you. Try being a girl for a month and maybe you will have a little more respect.
I already relax on the couch and play video games
I went vegetarian and my past three periods have been very light with little to no cramping. It's amazing!!
same and cutting out dairy helps so much
I went vegan for a year and mine was still terrible and it didn't get better at all, so it doesn't always help :/ I guess it depends on the person
wow really wishing the uk would trial this.
*the
medical cannabis is available for any ages (some states don't even have medical cannabis)
same. :/
Have you tried seeing if you have endometriosis? It's a lot more common than people think, and I have it.
Rebecca Aker Does Missouri or Iowa have medical marijuana
thank you Jesus. I go through this severe pain ever single month. I will be buying this today.
Whoopi Goldgerg, the women who eased Laura's period pains *applause from a crowd of 927,412 people(views)*
I’m 25 and still have worst pain during my period that I’ve ever felt in life. I’ve been vomiting every period since I can remember be a the pain is so bad. And on top of that I have sever IBS symptoms on the first day of my period. I will try anything at this point.
Did you find anything? x
I've had endometriosis and adinomiosis since I've started my period at 11. From being on monthly injections to fake my body into menopause to countless surgeries I have yet to find something that helps without taking five hundred pills. I have got to try this. Really really helpful video. Thank you BuzzFeed
Where do I order this I'm currently on the floor dying
Ikr!!!😟😟
Awe the girls were like preach it whoopi! I'm sorry girls I will never understand but I'm with yall
I'm so glad they found something that helps them. I didn't realize how worried I was until they said it helped. So relieved
Man I loooove Whoopi Goldberg!!
I am just so happy that something helps the girl with endometriosis tbh.
I have had sever cramps, to a point where I couldnt do much of anything. Since I started the pill most of any pain is gone now. But I also know that the pill is not fit for everyone, so I'm happy that this is an option for others who struggle with unwanted period symptoms.
I hope this really helps Lara. I've seen some of the other videos where she's discussed her pain issues with this, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone.
I hate my periods because I cramp so bad I curl up in to a ball and cry and I throw up when I'm on my period
same legit today I was crying, dying, lying on my bed. I was about to od on pain killers 😁😭
Try excessing or tell you're mom to buy Manzanilla Tea Bags. They help calm nerves, pain, stress, etc. I drink it and it's very useful.
Same. I really want to take my uterus out 😭
same!!!
+Arianna Parker you actually can... But if you do, you can't have children.
So thankful for this video, it has given me things to look into as I'm going through the same things and how to help.
When I'm on my period I can't poop and it sucks
Opposite for me
+Pepe Is Love, Pepe Is Life u can't pee?
Chrissy Marie No I get diarrhea, not a good time.
saaaame
+Pepe Is Love, Pepe Is Life omg dude same
im so happy for lara
Somewhere I heared that that cramps feel like a dementor in your belly. And thats exactly how I feel, deeply depressed, cold and in horrible pain. Chocolate helps when you are on your period and helps after a dementor was nearby. So does weed. It makes people happy, which is against the dementors nature, and, in that way, banishes it from your belly.
no know what they say : no uterus, no opinion
you sir are great
Burger King lady ??
I don't understand
+Marissa Kay hes saying since he doesnt have a uterus and doesnt have to go through anything girls do he cannnot have an opinion because he has no expierence
thanks fam
where can I buy these I need them
I am SOOO happy these ladies found something that alleviates the pain (especially Lara-- Ive seen her in previous buzzfeed vids)!! Its already incredibly frustrating to deal with cramps, I can only imagine what they feel:/
I just sent this to my friend who has endometriosis, and I hope this is a way that could help her😊
Here come the men vs women comments
Hmmmm let's guess why?
+Future Hendrix SHUT. UP. Now you're gonna say that men are smarter than women.
+Future Hendrix haha you wish
+Future Hendrix Because Men like to pretend they're educated on every topic, especially when it has absolutely nothing to do with them. Instead they try to force their ignorance on everyone else. Superior? Hahaha.... thats a lot of denial to be in.
+WomenOnWeed
I could say the same thing about women and the way the majority of them argue with men. Now sit.
Seeing Lara find something to help her cramps makes me so happy🙌🏾🙌🏾
God I wish I could get this in Texas.
oh my god she looks so good in that dark lipstick
I'm soooooo thankful that people (esp. women) are allowing cannabis to bring them increased health. What a blessing!!! (As Granny always said, "All use is medicinal.")
my name is Laura and I too have endometriosis!
o.. lara... not laura .. nm lol
+Thuong Dinh you misunderstood... Don't reply pls
Thuong Dinh .. I didnt...
danny ou clearly you do lol
well i hope that you find something that works for you because from what I've heard its terrible. but from one uterus owner to another, you got this
LEGALIZE IT!!! WORLD WIDE!!!
I was recently diagnosed with endometriosis and the fact that this is a possibility to make me feel better every month almost makes me cry happy tears. I'm definitely going to be checking this out
I was so happy for these women I legit wanted to cry haha!
I'm on my period right now and I can't handle the pain in my back ;'( I hate this :/
Same I'm dying
+BladezZ That's very rude for you to say. Just because you don't care, doesn't mean other don't.
Try a warm water bag :/ hope u feel better.
+BladezZ I'm guessing that you're a guy
The pill did the trick for me... Already 3 years pain-free!!
You have changed my life buzzfeed.
*just casually calling whoppi goldberg*
Yessss Whoopi! Only a woman can understand the pain women go though 😌
I can't believe you guys aren't crying because I am. So happy you found something that works!
dear buzzfeed employees who film in portrait .. you work for buzzfeed pleaseeee just film in landscape
I hope whoopi sees this video
I am so happy that Laura finally found something that works for her. Watching her story, and seeing these videos where she tries something and it fails made me really upset. I'm so happy that she can finally feel normal and she doesn't have to go through as much pain as she normally would on her period.
I usually take a hot bath and stay there for hours crying my eyes out because of the pain. It's latterly like I'm getting stabbed.
*figuratively
+Danny Sayers I meant to say literally but figurative is the correct word so thanks. lol
Still working on my English.
