Hello from Wisconsin. Thank you for explaining why your doing what your doing in your videos. My grandparents were farmers but they retired when I was 7 and I don't have much knowledge about the farming profession. My daughter and I enjoy watching your videos together. Stay healthy!
I’m a professional musician who hasn’t been allowed to go to work since March. I grew up working on a dairy farm in England and I swear your videos have helped keep me sane these past 9 months. Thanks bro.
I feel as though this technology could be applied to many facets of everyday life, like snow, dirt and possibly leaves. Further experimentation is needed.
As an electrical contractor it was fun to see you working on the lights. LED's save so much in power usage and give a better light and are not affected by the cold. Enjoyed your chores and thanks for sharing your time with us.
Eric your a great worker (thank you mom & dad) and keep up your hard work explaining "dairy life is like"! So many people have no clue to what a cow is & all the hard work it takes to get your milk, butter, cheese!
Thanks Eric and happy to see Dad back to work! Isn't it easier just to remove the starters from the florescent lights to convert it to LED without rewiring? The other advantage of this method is to use is as florescent again if you run out of LED bulbs simply by putting back the starters and florescent bulbs. Good luck and keep up the good work!
Another great video just a little safety tip for you. Always were safety glasses when you are dealing with lights..Also glad to see you dad out working again. Always a pleasure to watch your videos
We had several livestock semi trailers in our trucking business which had wood floors. We generally bedded them with sand but then tried welded wire cattle panels attached to the floor. They worked great and clean out wasn’t much of an issue since we generally washed them out.
Hi. Min son Gunder and I watch you farming in the evening before going to bed. He loves watching your big machines. He wants to know when you are gettin a new tractor.
Great video Eric! Ignore the haters with their cheap shots. Some are just having a little fun, but ignore the rest and don’t let them get under your skin. Admire your work ethic, attention to cattle comfort and willingness to put out quality videos! God Bless!!🇺🇸💪
Young man u have learned alot dont worry about what u dont know we all learn something new every day doesn't matter how old we get iam sure your dad is proud of u
Saddle up the horse to move the cows! Giddy up! Love your channel. Stay safe and healthy! Thanks for all you and your family does to promote good farming.
You are the only person on UA-cam which when using a stock trailer has put something on the floor for your stock, everyone else just uses bare flooring which makes cattle cautious
I have a tip for you 10th generation dairyman if you park the front end of the tractor down hill you will not lose oil. We have found that works for us hopefully it works for you to
Occasionally you need to check under the rubber to see that floor has not rotted away. Many years ago a horse box floor broke while on the road with disastrous results. Much enjoy your day to day routine videos.
I just did the same thing to the lights in our cow barns for the first time last week. Your vid was like watching myself... lol! Love the content. Keep it up
Nice of you guys to do the hay ride. That horse likes you, they have a way of knowing that you're a good guy. Something tells me that the indepth explanations are a friendly jab at a few other utubers. This farm boy has a unique wit and humour. Good video. Peace.
one of the things that I do for my dirt bikes and quads for the winter i get a spray can of "Pledge" furniture way and spray the plastic, don't with it off let it stay and eventually it'll run down and and dry. Come next season when you're ready to use the dust will just wash off with a garden hose.
Your cows look so nice honestly? I don't know shit about cow health but they don't look as ragged as some I've seen around, coat looks nice and bright eyes, legs move good, just nice looking animals. Even the dairy cow boniness doesn't seem as rough. Really nice to watch this practical stuff too, there's a lot of sensible things that I can tuck away to learn...
Thanks for the venting tip, idk why ive never though of that lol. Also have you ever considered investing in an already trained cattle dog to help you move yours?
A bit of rubberized paint in the gap and up the walls a bit will prevent the bottom of the walls rotting away in that stock crate. Are the walls alloy?
Eric, who is the manufacturer and or dealer where you bot your Shredder- spreader bucket for the bedding? Does the dealer have used ones? Do you need a high flow rate hydraulic on your skid steer to run it? Does or would the manufacturer or dealer have axillary pumps with a valve to run it off the PTO on a small tractor? Sorry about all the questions but there's a couple on UA-cam that hauls and shovels all their mulch into their greenhouse because the bucket on their small tractor is too wide to fit between the supports for the greenhouse when they roll up the side to do the compost mulching. I looked up one on the internet manufactured by Mensch Manufacturing. Just wanted to have some information before I suggested this to them it would be a labor and Time Saver. Mensch Manufacturing makes a similar bucket with a conveyor for feeding small pens of various livestock. I wish I had your equipment back when I had to do the bedding by hand!
Glad to see you switch over to Led lights, that’s all I have used since they came out. It’s nice to see a young man not afraid of work.
You are the coolest UA-cam farmer: modest and sincere.
You should also Watch "Cole the Cornstar"
Also watch Farmer on the Prairie.
Wow thanks!
and the post BEAUTIFUL family:)
You guys are always very busy. Great to see your dad back to 100% or close to it. God Bless you all.

I love Eric explaining why he is using a shovel with the shavings lol
Yes! I'm liking the sarcastic Eric that's appeared in the last two videos. 🤣

Loved it when you cut a hole in the bottom of you gallon RV jugs. Can’t wait to try it myself!

True but always TEST. Rely on no one, not even your dad, telling you the currents off.

Clean it up. Prep it. Grease it up. Pack it up for winter. This is how a farm stays in business. Great job.

Good to see your Dad able to be more involved. God is good! Thanks for your humility and sincerity in presenting great farm videos. .
Thanks Eric and happy to see Dad back to work!

Excellent demonstration of “you take care of your equipment, it’ll take care of you” Thanks!

Happy to see Dad doing better 😃
Love this channel
Great video, thanks for taking the time to make them!
Love the videos keep up the good work.
Fits like a glove! I agree, shovel versus hand..shovel wins.

You are truly a jack of all trades...I admire your skillset!
LOL @ shovel vs hand for the wood chips! Love your sense of humor!

If not for all Eric does about the dairy.....the dairy would have to be in serious help and probably have to close up shop!! :) :) :)

Nice reuse of those rubber mats.
I need about 20 of those mats to finish my barn!

A sawzall works amazing for cutting those stall mats. Just use the big tooth demo blades. I use them as mats to stand on in my shop.
I love you chanel and I have learned a lot from you?😁😁
Great video👍
Great video ✌
Watching you make that first long cut in that mat had me thinking I bet he is a good fish filleter.
