Titus 3:5 -7 He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, 6 whom He poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that, having been justified by His grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.

It's funny that those who believe in works based salvation will only go so far in a conversation before they actively ignore certain points that are made and just jump to another verse without reconciling your point or just figure they are suddenly beyond having the conversation any further.

@Fred Arroyo I agree, I never said it refers to obedience to God which can mean lots of things. Jesus came to fulfill the law and by the law shall NO MAN BE JUSTIFIED. The way to salvation is clearly stated as belief (faith) in Jesus Christ, professing Him with our mouths, and trusting in His grace. This is the way to Heaven. We should strive to obey God always but as sinners we will fail sometimes. This is why the only way any of us have any chance to get into Heaven is that Jesus paid the price for it, suffered the consequences of ALL of our sins, and He has offered us a free gift. All He asks is love and faith in return. We should WANT to serve Him after out of love not in the hopes of selfishly gaining something in return. If getting into Heaven was based in any way on works, we would do good things for a selfish reason and therefore that's still sinful. We would all burn. Grace is the only way.

So y'all not gonna acknowledge that James was writing to believers in chapter 1? Faith without works was James admonishing them for acting carnal as believers. Much like Paul did in his first letter to the Corinthians. Had nothing with them working for salvation.
Furthermore James references abraham when he said his FAITH (not faith & works) was counted unto for righteousness.

God knew us before the foundation of the world, and He says he is coming for the overcomer. So He knew us, wrote our name and if we do not overcome sin He will blot our name out. It seems so simple. The fruit of salvation is transformed living. Truly loving God means /wanting/ to please Him and obey, to treat others like we want to be treated, to care for the poor and the elderly and the sick. TO DO THE WORK. It’s BOTH, but one leads to the other.

obviously you "do not understand the biblical text", jesus used the law to BURY people under it, he said if you're gonna try to save yourself you "must be perfect" and "keep the commandments" that means to keep them "perfectly", so he was using the law to show the futility of trying to keep it perfectly, he wasn't teaching salvation by works and as far as "faith without works is dead" james was was indicting pharisees, jews who were judging the real believers, the works james was reffering to was christ work, not mans works, the work of "believing in christ" >>>
Joh 6:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

So Jesus died in vain? That's basically what you're teaching here. By the way, repentance means a change of mind(metanoia), not a physical turning from sin. When somebody believes the gospel and has faith in Christ they have repented. They are saved. To turn from sin is a natural desire after we receive the Holy Spirit, but we will always struggle. Guys it's real simple... Read Ephesians 2::8-10... It says your saved by grace as a gift, then because you are saved you do good works...
Now Titus 3:5... Hear again you are saved/regenerated by God thru the Holy Spirit and then you do good deeds/works because God has saved you...
James 2:24 --- Faith without works is dead. This is not about salvation it' about real faith,.. A person who is truly born again will produce good fruit/deeds... If someone professes salvation but there is no life change then their profession is worthless...
Since salvation is completely a work of God and because His work always works... then we know for sure if someone has been changed/born again/regenerated/saved, by God, then God's work in them will produce the fruit of salvation - every single time....
You can't earn your way to heaven you simply seek God and ask HIm to save you and put His Holy Spirit in you and then you are saved... Then you will do good works because you have become a new creature/creation 2 Corinthians 5:17.... It'/s really not that complicated to understand unless you haven't been born again and then it is very confusing..

**"Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God."**
In this verse, Paul is emphasizing that external rituals, such as circumcision, hold no spiritual value in themselves. Instead, what truly matters is obedience to God’s commandments. This reflects Paul's broader teaching that in Christ, traditional distinctions between Jews (who were circumcised) and Gentiles (who were not) are irrelevant. Faith and obedience to God's moral law take precedence over ritualistic or cultural practices.
This verse is part of a larger discourse where Paul addresses various questions about marriage, personal circumstances, and how Christians should live in light of their faith. His message here promotes a focus on inner transformation and living according to God's will, rather than adhering to external markers of religious identity.

Glory be to God. There is a theme that takes place cover to cover KJV. To be conformed to The Will/Word of God. His statutes are eternal. Rules and laws that we don't have to abide to..what happens when we get to heaven? Mt 8:12KJV. The word means children as well as sons. So spirit and or flesh they fall if not conformed. Man shall not live by bread but by The Word that proceeds from God. That verse Mt8:12 indicates maturity of faith/faithfulness. Certainly not OSAS. The angels that did not conform to being eunuchs' fell. Abstain from fornication...except if yr married? It does not say that. Not trying to poke at you Collin...congratulations. Look to the things therefore unto. How can one hold on to faith...by being faithful. Examine yourself with scriptures to see if you are in the faith. Not making things up as you go or based on how happy one is. There is my faith and there is the faith. Not going to be even close if scriptures is not the authority of my faith and my life. Having more faith isn't smashing other religions, ceremonies, rituals or even godly music into ones life. Its more of The Word growing inside taking place in ones mind and coming out of the mouth with deeds met for repentance. Grace happens so we can adapt and conform. Not to be happy and enjoy ourselves more than we did before which will happen but its not all about that. To grow in the faith/knowledge of the faith. Even the presumed good works of the faith will take place...and... He never knew them. Seeking The Lord has a lot to do with it as well. Jn5:39 Our knowledge does not save us. 1Jn1 Fellowship. Christ in us, we in Him, at His appearing. Blessed hope. Not a creepy one-sidedrelationship were we get to be in all this sin as long as He is in us. Hey Collin...rapture. Look around there is always something to repent of. May we all grow in the faith and seek The Lord Jesus. Blessed be The Father and The Lord Jesus His Son.

Great video. To repent and be water baptized in the name of Jesus Christ are not " works" by the protestant definition of " works" ,but acts of obedience in order to recieve the free gift of salvation. The same holds true of recieving the Holy Spirit.
The Word " recieve" in the original Greek that the new testamen was written in means, " to take hold of".
The Holy Spirit is recieved as the result of the Holy Spirit baptism and is recieved after belief, repentance, and water baptism. To be baptized in the Holy Spirit is to be filled to overflowing.
The Holy Spirit infilling must be fervently prayed for until God answers our pray and fills us. Then we surrender the last vestige of our will, our tongue, which the Word says is, "the body's most unruly member that no man can tame" ( James 3:8 ).
We yield our tongue to the Holy Spirit until He takes control of it ( " tames" it ) and enables us to speak in the spiritual language that our English translation calls " tongues". Once this happens it triggers the Spirit overflow while at the same time the Holy Spirit unites with our spirit forever to remain within us.

And wouldn't it be great if it were recorded for us to read, so we didn't have to watch youtube videos, wondering how to be saved? Unless u think this guy is better than the apostle Paul, or u think the apostle got it wrong & left a lot out than I'm guessing you r redefining faith as many do. If u redefine the one thing that can get u saved, u have no hope, for there is only one way to be saved. The one who says he has no sin is a liar & the truth is not in him. Repentance is keeping the commandments, & if u keep the commandments to be saved, u cannot be saved, b/c u r not believing in Jesus to save u. We should repent from all sin. Sin is evil & if u r saved u r born again & will repent, but it doesn't save or keep u saved.
ACTS 16:30 and after he brought them out, he said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” 31 They said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

Repentance is not rejecting your sins, repentance is a change of mind. So Biblical repentance is to change your mind about the way to salvation, if you former belief is that you need to repent of your sins or other action as a requirement then you need to repent of that, change your mind about that false belief and believe that Christ is the only way to salvation.
If you want to get saved, you first have to believe that Christ is the only way and secondly, you have to stop working towards your salvation. "But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness"

If repentance was a requirement for being saved, then the apostle surely would have listed it when asked. "and you WILL be saved" is this true or not, ask yourself.
Also: Any gospel that leaves room for boasting has to be a false gospel. If u end up in heaven b/c u repented enough, but some other guy believed but didn't repent enough, then u will be able to boast. Ask yourself: How much repentance is enough? Is there sin u don't know about? How could u then ever have assurance of things hoped for? Are u a sinner or perfect? If u say somewhere in between then u must have more to repent for. If u say perfect, then John says u r a liar. If u say sinner than in this youtuber's view u r not fully repented. This is not a game. You must love your enemy as yourself, sell all u have and give to the poor, spend all your time serving God if u would be fully repented of all sin, for sin is not just abstaining from, but also positive action. If u fail to carry out the positive actions, u have much to repent from. ONLY JESUS KEPT THE COMMANDMENTS PERFECTLY. If u fail at all u have not repented from all sin. Slander is sin, talking behind people's backs is sin, not rebuking others sin is often sin, tolerating sin is sin, any pride is sin, and if u think just saying "I will to sin no more" is enough to be repented from all sin, then u set the bar very very low, this is sin. If u humble yourself & realize u cannot, then there is GOOD NEWS 4 u. Jesus lived the perfect sinless life u cannot, trust in Him fully, abandon all your efforts to get right with Him & rest in Him.
If repentance is what u r working at daily to make sure u r saved, then u must be trying hard to love thy enemy, give to the poor etc etc. U know, keeping the commandments of God. This is works. Not grace or faith. Enter through the door, not your efforts, rest in Him, not your works, stand on the rock of Christ, not the sand of your half baked efforts at repentance, salvation is a free gift. Faith even is a gift of God. Focusing on your works is not believing in Him, it's believing in yourself.

How about sanctification? Isn't it fair to say that we will be perfect sinless creation after we go to heaven? Who in Bible was a sinless person. Not righteous but without a single sin? When you read letters of Paul to the churches he does condemn their behaviour but he always give them hope that they may still turn back. So it's seems to me that there is always hope to turn away. @Manifest-Easy 1 Corinthians 3:11-15 Only speaks of the works of a faithful person, there is no mention of sin in the text; therefore one cannot conclude that there are not consequences or a loss of their eternal life merely by reading that passage.
Now, when we read the following verses we see the other side of the coin:
MATTHEW 7:26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and *great was the fall of it.*
LUKE 8:13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation *fall away.*
JOHN 15:6 If a man *abide* not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and *cast them into the fire, and they are burned.*
ROMANS 11:21 For if *God spared not* the natural branches, *take heed lest he also spare not thee.* 22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: *on them which fell, severity;* but toward thee, goodness, IF thou *continue in his goodness:* otherwise *thou also shalt be cut off.*
1CORINTHIANS 10:12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth *take heed lest he fall.*
ROMANS 2:7 To them who by patient *continuance in well doing* seek for glory and honour and immortality, *eternal life:* 8 But unto them that are contentious, and *do not obey* the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, 9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; 10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: 11 *For there is no respect of persons with God.*
HEBREWS 5:8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; 9
And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that *obey him;* (and if you disobey him.... does it say he is the author of eternal life to the children of disobedience? No, it DOES not.)
2CORINTHIANS 7:10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation *not to be repented of:* .....
1TIMOTHY 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall *depart from the faith,* giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; ("Take heed that no man deceive you." ~Jesus)
2TIMOTHY 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
HEBREWS 6:4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
2PETER 1:10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
2PETER 2:20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.
2PETER 3:17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
........And there's plenty more scripture to back up the truth that a believer CAN lose their eternal life.

Who are we serving..? You can't serve God if you are lazy and do nothing..So you actually have to have works to be able to serve God in the first place..But the works isn't about salvation..Our works determine what type of creature we are..A dead one..or a living one..The old man..Or the new creature..But people who love their sin..They don't understand this..Because they are still dead...

Repentance is "meta noia", literally after mind or change of attitude toward God and away from sin. Faith defined can be the exact same. These two words happen at the same time not one first then the other. Your ordering of these two words makes no sense. You cannot have faith without repentance and you cannot have repentance without faith. The teaching would be considered taking God's name in vain. Speaking for God a teaching that is not of God. Even though your sincere, it is still a sin.

“NOT BY WORKS of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost” (Titus 3:5). This Bible verse makes it plain and simple that good works will not save anyone. Listen to the message of Ephesians 2:8-9, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: NOT OF WORKS, lest any man should boast.” How many Scriptures does God need to put in front of our face before we get the idea-salvation is not by merit. “Knowing that a man is NOT JUSTIFIED BY THE WORKS OF THE LAW, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and NOT BY THE WORKS OF THE LAW: for BY THE WORKS OF THE LAW SHALL NO FLESH BE JUSTIFIED” (Galatians @). The road to Hell is paved with good intentions!!! The plain teaching of the Inspired Word of God is that salvation is NOT BY WORKS. You just read the Scriptures for yourself.

    • @joedoe1096
      @joedoe1096 4 роки тому +2

      There's two stages to repentance.
First, there is the desire for repentance. We apologize, we make right what we did wrong as best we can. This is our part.
Then, if God responds and sends his Spirit, our heart is softened, and we break down in tears weeping for our sins. This is genuine repentance.
God can not make people repent apart from their free will, or we would be robots. We have to want it. But he decides who he will grant repentance to and who he won't. I had to beg God for repentance for months before my heart was finally softened, and when it came, it was sudden and undeniable as the Spirit flooded over me, and for the first time in many years I was able to cry for my sins again and have my burdens taken away.

@@joedoe1096 you misunderstand what the bible teaches about the law. The law is not for salvation. The law is for teaching the righteous (by God's grace) and condemning the wicked. It is a way of teaching God's standard of righteousness and our imminent and inevitable failure to fulfill it. But before you even get to the point of obeying and learning from the law of God, you are first condemned for a moment by God and chastised by his grace through faith. And then you are lifted up by his grace through faith. The old heart of stone is removed and the new heart of flesh is put into place. Then having already learned and understanding the law, you begin to obey God. Whenever Jesus says that only those who obey God's commands are saved, he is referring to those who bear good fruit. Those who have been planted by God himself will bear good fruit. And the salvation he is referring to is the final judgement. So what he is actually saying is all those who have been adopted and chastened by my father are the one's who will not be judged.

Ignorance not knowing you sinned is vastly different than knowing you are sinning willfully.

Believing in your heart is what saves not saying a prayer. I would say most Christians don't understand the gift of righteousness. That's what Jesus purchased for believers. Abraham's covenant with God was a promise of eternal inheritance to him and his seed. Paul said not even the law of God can revoke it. It can't disinherit a believer. Gal 3. Yes believers still sin. But most Christians in my opinion leave people believing we are trying to save Our self. Why. Because of our confession. Some of the things we say. When we give unbelievers the idea that were trying to save our self. They look at Christianity as a religion. It's like telling them come to Jesus and be put on probation. If your good enough in the end you might be forgiven. No no no. We need to tell them believers that he is alive are forgiven people right now we're not waiting for forgiveness we have forgiveness. Anything else is religion.

Jesus comes and does the works of God that he was sent here to do and as a reward he sits at the right hand of the Father. “Produce fruit in keeping with repentance...... A tree that doesn’t produce fruit is good for nothing but to be cut down and thrown into the fire.......I am the vine and you are the branches.” When you come to this understanding you realize that one can be a follower of the WAY without ever knowing or hearing about Jesus. Because they have the spirit of God within them and it’s manifested outwardly by their works. If you would meditate on and study the WILDERNESS as it’s used in the Bible you will start to understand REPENTANCE and PURGATORY.

@Marie W 777 Ok, but how can we know that we have been saved? Should we have a confidence in salvation only by faith witout works?

@Marie W 777 That is right. We have been saved by grace trough faith, but what does that faith actually mean? It's obvious that it doesn't mean to accept the facts about Jesus resurrection, and even agree with this truth that He is the Son of God and has died for our sins. We know that even the devil believe it as well. So, it may be simply called "dead faith", therefore I have asked before "does the dead faith give us salvation?". For instance according to James chapter 2, I would say no. James 2,14"What does it profit, my bretheren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? It's jus rhetorical question. When we get a few verses forward, we can see the conclusion: James 2,24 "You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only". I recommend to read the entire passage or chapter. Very strong and clear is also Mathew 25,31-46 mentioned in this video. The unbelievers may commit good deeds, but it cannot saved them, becauce it doesn't result from their faith. In my opinion we need a real faith that is connected with good works, because these should be fruits of our belief. So, good fruit has been a proof of real faith, but evil works has been a proof of unbelief or dead faith. John 15, 5-6 " I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in me, and I in him, bears much friut, for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered, and they gather them and thow them into the fire, and they are burned." Be blessed :)

@Marie W 777 Of course! You've written special examples of people, who die immediately after conversion, so they don't have the opportunity doing good deeds according to Gods will. Another example is the criminal, who had been fixed on the cross next to Jesus. He had repented, but could not do anything good. In other cases Jesus used to say "from now on, sin no more". Therefore good works are the important feature of our faith. I would say, it is our obligation and duty towards God, because if we realy believe in Him, then we are automatically eager to accomplish His will, and to be obedient. If we are not, probably our faith is fake.

@Marie W 777 Thanks be to God for your such great involvement in this topic. I don't know if I would be able to respond regarding all points, because you've written a lot interesting things, and I'm eager to discuss, but English is not my mother language, so it's not easy, therefore please forgive me also my miskates :)
At firs, don't get me wrong. I don't proclaim works salvation. I believe that all we receive from God is grace, even our good deeds and our faith as well, according to Ephesians, chapter 2. However we should recognise any way, if our faith is real. So, considering my earlier comment, I claim still, that the real faith should necessarily include good works, because otherwise it is dead. We know from James, that even demons believe, but they cannot be saved. It's logical, that when someone has truly believed in Jesus, he want to fallow him, not only by words, but works as well, if not, that's hypocrisy. I believe, that God will judge each person righteously, not in mathematical manner, but according to His grace, possibility, talent, that each of us has received from Him. I hope you agree with me, that false faith is not saving. So, I wanna ask you a question. What is the real saving faith (according to the Bible) in your opinion?

1 John 3: 9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
When you can do something you are able to do it hence when you cannot do something you are able not to do it,
If you be born of God and are led by His Spirit you are ABLE NOT to sin, not that you can’t sin but by the power of the Holy Spirit dwelling in you, you are able not to...simple really.

Nick Joseph? Oh does it ..my bad I saw the word “cannot” sin and explained that “cannot “ is the same as “able not” to sin just as can is the same as able, I used the words in the scripture to and explain what they mean ,
but you say it’s about making a practice of sinning ...hmmm sounds like your opinion there, where’s that in the verse, sounds like your adding to the word or making excuses, please explain “to make practice of “ and where do you get that teaching from...it might sound nice but is it true

Well first off you start your video quoting 2 passages from the old testament. The relationship with God in the old testament is different than the Christians relationship now because of Christ. In the old testament it was conditional, if you do this this is going to happen if you don’t do this this is going to happen. You have to remember people were trying to be justified by what they did and being punished for what they didn’t do. Even when Jesus was on earth teaching you have to remember his audience. He wasn’t talking to Christians he was teaching to a Jewish audience who were still trying to be justified by their own righteousness according to the law. So Most of Jesus’s teachings were to show people that they were condemned by trying to attain something they could never attain by themselves and the blessings they can have by turning to Him, (repenting) because it was more than an outward act of behavior an appearance of righteousness..Jesus took it right to the heart.. He did on the sermon on the mount. He said you heard it said thow shall not murder well I say to you if you hate someone it’s the same as committing the act he did the same thing with adultery. So Jesus‘s ministry was to show everybody that they couldn’t keep the law that their righteousness will only send them to hell because you have to be perfect as his father in heaven is perfect therefore drawing people to himself..That’s why he stated if you put your hand to the plow and look back you’re not worthy for the kingdom of God. And looking back is at the old way of being justified which is people trying to be righteous by the law But He wanted you to turn from that way of thinking, (repent) and continue to follow Him, the author and finisher of our faith. That’s why he made statements like unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the Pharisees you will not inherit the kingdom of God. He told us to be perfect which obviously we can’t. So a lot of those statements were to remind us that we are unworthy so that we would turn to him for salvation. And when you’re quoting Matthew 25 that is Jesus coming back with the church And the angels judging people who made it through the tribulation commending those who didn’t take the Mark of the beast who are going to enter into the millennial kingdom in their natural bodies..so you can’t use this passage to say he’s speaking to the church..Now the life of a Christian believer is trusting in the finished work of Christ and resting in that like Hebrews chapter 4 says, And I quote verse 10 of Hebrews 4, For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience. Notice how he’s not telling you to be diligent to work, but the writer is clearly telling us to be diligent to enter rest and by not we’re being disobedient..And that’s what the whole book of Hebrews is about trying to add on to the finished work of Christ thinking it isn’t good enough. He goes on in chapter 10 to tell us in verse 14 that by His one offering He has perfected us forever also by that one sacrifice we have been sanctified past tense..And because of that he tells us we can enter the holiest by the blood of Christ with boldness and full assurance of faith. He goes on in chapter 12 and tells us to set aside that sin (singular) that so easily ensnares us and let us run the race thats set before us. Notice how he doesn’t say the sins, but says that sin..What sin do you think he’s talking about there that ensnares us ? It’s the same sin that was ensnaring them which was not trusting in the finished work of Christ and the race he’s wanting you to continue in is trusting in the finished work of Jesus Christ and not going back to the old way of trying to be justified..Now I’m not saying because positionally we already ARE sanctified we already Are seated in the heavenly‘s, Eph:2,6..That we can just live a life that isn’t reflecting Our new nature as being a new creation in Christ and all things have passed away and all things have become new 2 Cor 5:17, But Paul did say all things are lawful for me..1Cor 6:12..now if Paul thought that there was something that he could do that was going to separate him from Christ he would never be making a statement like that because it would be blasphemous..And it’s interesting that he made that statement right after he gave a list of people that weren’t going to inherit the kingdom of God which a lot of people quote to warn Christians, but they don’t continue to read in 1 Corinthians 6: 11 where he says and such WERE some of you but you were washed you were sanctified you were justified.. so he’s not lumping those people in with that group of people. and then right after he makes that statement where he says all things are lawful for me but he tells us he will not be brought under the power of it because sin can be powerful and destructive and obviously a bad witness. Now again in Romans 6 he says shall we sin because we’re not under law, the condemnation of the law, but under grace? certainly not! he goes on to say what fruit did you have in that behavior in those things? the end of those things is death you should be ashamed of those things.. right after he says that he says you have been set free from sin. Paul is constantly exhorting the believer and reminding them of their position and security in Christ. And then of course in Philippians chapter 3 where he goes on to brag about how he was blameless according to the law making the claim that if anyone has a right to brag he does by following everything according to the law. He says what things were gain to me these I have counted loss, rubbish, for Christ for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ and being found in Him not having my own righteousness but that which is through faith in Christ the righteousness which is from God by faith. Earlier in that letter to the Philippians in chapter 2 he tells you to work out your salvation with fear and trembling but notice who’s doing the work he says for it is God who works in you both to will and do for His good pleasure.. so even when you think you’re working He’s working and the minute you start thinking you’re doing the work 1Corinthians 3:13 tells you on the day Christ comes back to judge the type of works you were doing And how you built on the finished work of Jesus Christ which is our foundation, the minute you think your righteousness is worth something or your motives were impure of why you were doing your works, like doing them because you have to, or because so everyone can see you like the Pharisees were doing, he tells you all of those works will be burned up but yet you yourself will be saved.. so he’s clearly telling you in 1 Corinthian’s that you could have all bad works and all of them could be burned up because all of your motives for doing them were impure but yet you yourself will be saved. And to end this I’m going to say the famous love chapter God is instructing humans how he wants us to be towards other people he tells us not to keep records of wrong according to how our relationship is with one another but yet you think God is up there keeping records of your wrongs? So I will leave you with Romans eight verse one there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit for the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death past tense I am free. So please don’t walk according to the world thinking that in your flesh somehow you’re making yourself perfect like when Paul wrote to the Galatians Chapter 3 verse 3 Telling them that they were foolish thinking that they began in the Spirit and are now being made perfect by the flesh. Rest in the finished work of Christ abide in Christ and you will bare fruit because without Christ all of your fruit is worthless. Remember your salvation is already in you and it’s flowing out of you ..you’re not working for it you’re producing fruit because it’s in you not to prove that you have it but because you have it. God Bless You

May the lord save you before that day ye worker of iniquity. My heart breaks for you for ye does not rightly divide the word of truth. The lord will raise those who sleep and wake but im not sure about teachers of the law. For if righteousness comes by the law then christ died in vain. Love to you brother but this is not the way. May his grace overthrow your theology and mind to see that salvation is free by faith. Youre a gentile not a jew and paul said in romans 2 everyone will be judged by his gospel by the revelation of jesus christ. The law was to jews. For those under the law are under a curse. Christ is the end to the law for all those who believe. I will not get into a foolish debate with you. I will say my peace and go but i pray he recognizes faith alone and faith plus works because if not he never knew you because you thought the way to the father could be earned. In the end you want to be praised. for your righteousness is like filthy rags to the lord. he who knew no sin became sin for us so that we might be the righteousness of God in christ jesus. Were righteousness because of what he did. Your either trusting in yourself or completely in him. If it was possible to lose it it would be impossible to get it back according to hebrews 6:4-6. The bible says were sealed with holy spirit when we believe ephesians 1:13. Also, look up the definition of inherit. Can you inherit salvation or is it talking about accumulating wealth in heaven? Jesus could not say believe in what i did on the cross only because he had not died yet. A new testament starts at the blood of a testator. The gospel of salvation to the gentiles was revealed to paul by jesus christ. Jesus said i come to the lost sheep of israel only which are the jews. He also said salvation is for the jews but the mystery of the gentiles being saved was given to Paul but Jesus words are still the word of God but it must be rightly divided and ill leave that to you and at that. With gentleness and love.
