Ya'll both made a great argument. Collin: 10 and other: 10 I would say it DEPENDS on the person state of mind and heart and what God see in him or her and the cause of him/her sinning. Brother remember this, for some people it's because of an addiction not something they want to do on purpose. An addiction can make you feel good and hold you hostage. Not all people are the same some can stop cold Turkey but some it takes 5 years, 7 years, 20 years for a change to be completed. Don't run to quick and say God won't forgive repeated sin AND to the person who is sinning pray to God to help you out of your sin and try and ceasing to do evil. That goes to myself also. Peace
Those who know God don’t dwell in sins, besides, God always reward the will of doing good. Genesis 4:7 « If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.”
Don Oldwell But if you are born again John 3:3-5 , you do not sin 1John 3:9. Because Jesus saves you not your works Matthew 7:21-23. Read and study the Bible Don.
Don Oldwell so according to you if I believe Jesus Christ and what he said in verses , John 3:16, John 5:24, John6:40,47 and trust in him like the thief on the cross did in Luke 23, and actually trust and believe the gospel ( 1corinthians 15:1-4 ) and accept of the gift of eternal life, Ephesians 2:8-9 which teaches how you are born again (John 3:3-5 ) according to you it’s a dangerous doctrine .....Well Don according to the Bible you are blinded by the God of this world, (2 Corinthians 4:3 ,4) the gospel of the death burial and resurrection is hidden from you. The gospel is all about Christ and his work on the cross, not what you or I do. I pray that God removes the blinders from you. I don’t get how you can read what Christ said and decide that that what said was not true ...Or Not believe what Christ said himself could be trusted ? To me it is very disturbing that you can be in denial by what Jesus Christ taught. Well you are wrong and you believe a false doctrine...Matthew 7:21-23, is very clear on what you get for trying to do it your way.
The secret is in 2 instances in the Bible. When Jesus was asked a similar question He replied 70 x 7. Then if you remember His prayer, He taught us how to pray, he prays to the Father, for Him to forgive us as we forgive others. This makes it very important for us to love one another and forgive so as to not exceed our own forgiveness.
I believe it's based on intent. A man with a weakness, addiction, etc, who sins over and over, or sins the same sin without intent or "acceptance"/"willingness" of the sin, will always be forgiven. It would appear Paul had a weakness of sin where he said "wicked man that I am, I wish to do right, but bad is in me". Where as "living in sin" which is to do the same sin over and over and saying "yeah, whatever" and "seeking the sin", "enjoying the sin", with a blatant attitude of "Jesus loves me anyway, I'll just keep saying sorry" is fake repentance, being sorry in word but not in deed (deed being the "effort of avoidance of sin"), and that is when there is no forgiveness left for those sins, as stated in Hebrews. It's about the inner man, not the number or consistency of sin itself, but the "fight" and "attitude" toward it. As Jesus said "forgive up to 77 times", because that's what God does with us, so long as a person is honestly repentant (repentance meaning not sorry in word only, but in deed, striving to change one's life style, to "avoid" the sin, even if one slips up when doing so in that effort, just like Paul). The time forgiveness of others in our part is not required if a person is not repentant, meaning they sin on purpose and don't even "try" to change or avoid that sin, so it is with us and God.
If this is what you fear, you have not gone too far, because your heart is being moved by the spirit. The unforgivable sin is sinning against the spirit, meaning to "not repent", to turn one's heart away from God. If you regret sin and keep trying to avoid sin, and obey Christ's commands in your life style, that is what repentance is. There is no limits on God's forgivness for the genuinly repentant, what we have to make sure of is that we don't become "complacent" , meaning "I keep sinning, but it's ok, I'll be forgiven anyway, so who cares", no we must "keep the fighting attitude" and retain righteousness in order to benefit from the blood of Christ. You do that, God will always welcome you in his arms. Jesus told his disciples to forgive people for comitting the same sin "77 times" in a row (which means "infinity") if they keep genuinly repenting (being sorry and trying their utmost not to do it again), because that's how God treats us in turn. The trick and lie of the devil is that he wants people to feel worthless and to give up repenting and living righteously, don't let him do that to do.
You can never be too far for God to forgive you... HE can and if HE wills, he will forgive...But don't just quit, keep confessing and come clean before HIM. 1John.1.8 - If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 1John.1.9 - If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. I am not advocating that we continue sinning, but let's keep confessing whenever we sin or recognize sin in our lives
Awesome words. Its always mind boggling how the majority of pastors and Christians are blinded and stuck in what has become traditional teaching and they just repeat the same things over and over and never see the truth that is in your face in black and white and sometimes red!
Interesting thing I found out a few years ago, they actually can "buy" sermons online. This includes like a 4 week sermon, bible study guides, graphics for the screen, ect... Churches today are so bland with no meat. I remember going to my first real bible study and was like "WOW!"
@@onerealityofficial Collin, you have a zeal without knowledge. I feel very sad for you. This is not meant to be condescending but I see you are in error in your zeal of combating the error of hyper-grace, you have gone to such an extreme that you have ended up in error yourself. I speak from my own experience, as I fell into this trap myself. You need to repent of not preaching Christ and his gospel. This gospel you preach is another gospel that is devoid of the mercy, grace and the power of God unto salvation IN CHRIST alone, not in my self effort.
@@onerealityofficial you do know that not all of Judah recognize their transgressions. Jeremiah could not speak for them because they do not have the heart he has to cry out for mercy. There hearts are so far away from God that their is no chance for them to repent.
I needed this. I was abusing Grace willfully. This was a wake up call. I’ll never have a sinless life no matter how hard the Holy Spirit convicts me because my flesh will be a part of me till the day I die, but that doesn’t mean I, or anyone, should abuse Grace and not please the Lord. This video encourages me to strive.
I know. I was a victim of ignorance and false doctrine. The moment I started being intentional with God was the moment I started experiencing major progress with Jesus and conquering sin.
Hi! Can I talk to you more? I have kind of the same testimony. About 2 months ago I woke up from a very false doctrine and it’s all so different, my life, how I view sin…
But most sins are not willfully committed.... many a time we cave in to temptation by the evil one....overwhelmed by demonic influence momentarily......
That's why Jesus said in MATTHEW 26:41 "Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak." So now that you know that, you have no excuse.... hopefully. The Spirit is our gift to walk in obedience. By his Spirit, we abide in HIM, and walk as HE walked; without sin. 🔎1JOHN 2:3-6. And we know that Jesus did not walk as a sinner, nor is he the shepherd of sinners.
Boot Resources, actually, most sins are wilfull. Most people love their sin so much that they will not give them up. God will not always strive with man. If we keep wilfully sinning, God will let us go and give up on us, and we will end up in hell forever. Ya better forsake your sins.
If people continue in Willful Sin (Heb. 10:26) they’ll be given over to a Reprobate Mind (Rom. 1:28). God is NOT mocked. Unless they truly REPENT (forsake it/turn away from it) God will not forgive you. Plus if someone is doing this they haven’t repented. Unless TRUE Repentance come through they will stop.
@@julianhouston.bondservanto1191 Jesus commands several people to go and sin no more. Like the lady "caught in adultery" Just because It doesn't say "repent of your sins" exactly doesn't mean you shouldnt. Jesus commanded people to stop sinning.
Yes your right god dont forgive if you keep doing it dont trust unbelivers they will try and lead you the wrong way keep up the good work colin your brother in christ
Even Apostle Paul said, examine your self or conscience before you receive holy communion.....you must ask for forgiveness of sins from God always even at point of death no matter how righteous you think you are.....we commit sins of lusts with eyes and hearts all the time, even more than 70 times a day but God still forgives us......
1PETER 1:14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: 15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. 17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:.....
Jeremiah wrote what he wrote BEFORE the exile. But he STILL lead them back to Israel and Jesus STILL came for the lost sheep of Israel FIRST and then for the other nations. This proves God will always give us a chance to turn from our sins. God will ALWAYS forgive us if we truly repent. To put a limit on GODS mercy is not right to me in my opinion.
Yessss... you are so right. He is destroying their hope..people are giving up .. his examples are not good... same as lying he sins daily too im sure and has to repent and ask for forgiveness yet he is saying that you only really get forgiveness a few times.. noooooo this is not good..
what if you comitted that same sin over and over knowing it was wrong and then finally decided you didn't want to offend God anymore and you turn from that sin repented and ask God to forgive you??
"Will God Forgive Me of Repeat Repetitive Sins? If I Keep Committing The Same Sin?" Well, let's see. Jesus said this... Mark 3:28-29 Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men (any one), even blasphemies howsoever they shall blaspheme (Except for one); But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Spirit has never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation (be cast into a "Burning Lake of Fire" AKA: hell). Now Jesus (who IS God) makes it crystal clear; that He shall (on "Judgment Day") forgive EVERY sin; that ANY one could ever commit; with the lone exception of "Blaspheming against the Holy Spirit". So what is that blaspheme? I pondered that question for decades; before I realized what it is...It simply means that ANY one that refuses the FREE gift of "Everlasting Life; which Jesus gives any one; when they truly believe IN Him; that He is their God; will HAVE "Blasphemed against the Holy Spirit (the ONLY Unforgivable Sin). And if any one truly believes IN Jesus they can never commit that sin. For the moment ANY one truly believes IN Jesus; immediately the HS "Baptizes their Soul" and "Circumcises their Heart" (Born Again). Thus we are saved forever and OSAS proven. Because Jesus shall forgive EVERY sin; but that Blasphemous Unforgivable sin. Note: The Holy Spirit comes out of the womb with us. And he will NOT stop offering that FREE gift; until either: we accept the gift or we die. Because Jesus shall forgive EVERY sin; but that Unforgivable sin. NOW beware of Jesus' wrath any time we sin...Leviticus 26:28 Then I will walk contrary (angry) unto you also in fury (wrath); and I, even I, will chastise (punish, in today's English) you seven times for your sins. He also blesses us untold; every time; any one does a good deed, etc. So on Judgment Day ALL sins and ALL good deeds have already been adjudicated throughout from Creation to the END. Except for that Unforgivable Sin. So the judgment for that sin; determines WHO goes to Heaven or to Hell. And that depends on whether any one accepted the FREE Gift or not. Simple indeed! End of Story and I rest me case... ...In any case kind Sir, Please Pray OFTEN and Praise Jesus OFTEN; for He is the ONLY true "God Almighty"; there will ever have been. And may Jesus bless you and yours always. AMEN!
Every sin will be forgiven, i.e. every type of sin will or manner of sin will be forgiven except for the unforgivable sin. He was warning them, there is one type of sin that will not be forgiven. He was not saying every sin that anyone has ever committed will be forgiven. you yourself acknowledged not everyone is forgiven by using the word hell, someone will be dammed. Then who is forgiven? Do you think faith and believing exist only in your mind? Those who repent and turn from their sins will be forgiven.
1TIMOTHY 1:13 Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it *ignorantly* in unbelief. ignorant • lacking knowledge, information, or awareness about a particular thing. God will not be mocked; we will reap what we sow. He who sinneth (eth = ongoing) is of the devil. There is a sin unto death..... and that is willful sin. MATTHEW 15:8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
Yes, in IGNORANTLY IN UNBELIEF. It wasn't works that saved him but him BELIEVING. Notice Collin mentioned nothing about Paul having to do works to receive mercy.
@@MoonPhaze5 yep, don't answer the point I just made, just act like you don't see it...even though y'all be so sure of y'all selves that you do good enough works to merit eternal life. And all my sins were forgiven because I accepted the GIFT of eternal life (gifts are freely given and not worked for). No one is saved from doing the right thing. Without bloodshed there is no remission of sins, not bloodshed and works. First your saved, then comes the works. You're claiming that one has to work to be saved but how can you be unclean and yet do works that will make you clean?
Hebrews 4:7 'He [God] again fixes a certain day, “Today,” saying through David after so long a time just as has been said before, “TODAY IF YOU HEAR HIS VOICE, DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS.”' -- believing you're "too far gone" is as much hardening your heart against God as believing you've never sinned. Both rely on self rather than trust Jesus the Messiah. God has given you "today" so that you can call out to Him and enter His rest.
Jeremiah 16 speaks about the old testament God before He sent His Son to drink and empty the cup of wrath and die for our sins. The wrath that’s reserved for non believers is still on stand by
If you read the rest of Jeremiah 16: you will see that at the end of the passage God will actually take them BACK and give them back the land and God will undo the curses he bestowed upon them, in Jeremiah 16:3-5 it does not say God will not forgive them, he will, however there are still consequences for our sins, God is chastising them and putting curses on them but God has never and will never forget his promise he made to them which is why at the end, God made a promise to bring them back after he chastises them for their sins, Just because they were Gods redeemed people and just because God will forgive them, does not mean they won’t receive some form of EARTHLY judgment . God still kept his covenant With them. Jeremiah16: 14 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be said, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt; 15 But, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the lands whither he had driven them: and I will bring them again into their land that I gave unto their fathers. 16 Behold, I will send for many fishers, saith the LORD, and they shall fish them; and after will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks. 17 For mine eyes are upon all their ways: they are not hid from my face, neither is their iniquity hid from mine eyes. 18 And first I will recompense their iniquity and their sin double; because they have defiled my land, they have filled mine inheritance with the carcases of their detestable and abominable things. 19 O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit. 20 Shall a man make gods unto himself, and they are no gods? 21 Therefore, behold, I will this once cause them to know, I will cause them to know mine hand and my might; and they shall know that my name is The LORD. Micah was confident that God will again forgive all of their sins like he always does. God does not harbor our sins and he doesn’t stay angry. God will always forgive our sins if we ask. God is eager to give mercy. So I’m not sure the god you believe in but it cannot be the Christian one. Micah 6: 18 Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy. 19 He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.
Gal 5 v 19-22 ,Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
I understand, but at some point we have to grow up and take responsibility. What motivates me is videos on UA-cam about ppl who visited Hell and saw Christians there!!!....””6 Then the Lord said to Cain, “Why are you angry?(A) Why is your face downcast? 7 If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door;(B) it desires to have you, but you must rule over it””. (Genesis 4: 6-7). I hope my reply helps to motivate you to step your spiritual game up bc through the Holy Spirit you have the power to be consistent in your submission to Christ. Here’s another scripture to rest on and to be motivated by: “Dear friends, if we deliberately continue sinning after we have received knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice that will cover these sins. There is only the terrible expectation of God’s judgment and the raging fire that will consume his enemies” (Hebrews 10:26-27 NLT www.bible.com/116/heb.10.26-27. New Living Translation). Don’t believe the doctrine of demons that says, once saved always saved! We have to be holy, with all our mind, all our body, all of soul and with all of our strength...nothing held back! You have the power over addiction, it’s your flesh and Satan tempting you...and then you give in to that feeling bc of the reward from the drug. Step outside of that whole dynamic and look at it for what it is. Satan is taking advantage of you (and you’re letting him) to keep you stuck in your sin, and bound for a painful, horrible, forever and ever Hell to be tortured nonstop for all eternity. Time to pick yourself up and get serious with yourself, whatever you have to do! Send me an email if you want at michaelebrwn0@gmail.com. I’d love to talk and share with you about this. May God bless, and keep you with his healing, delivering presence, this in Jesus’s Holy Name, amen! But God also says “This is how the Lord responds: “If you return to me, I will restore you so you can continue to serve me....”” (Jeremiah 15:19 NLT www.bible.com/116/jer.15.19.New Living Translation). So there is hope. You’re not stuck, but you gotta repent and build yourself up in knowledge of God’s word to fight your flesh and Satan!
See the churches say you sin all the time everything is sin. That isnt true if you are loving God with everything and loving your neighbors as your self, you are not sinning.
“‘Hear the word of the Lord, all you people of Judah who come through these gates to worship the Lord. 3 This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: Reform your ways and your actions, and I will let you live in this place. 4 Do not trust in deceptive words and say, “This is the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord!” 5 If you really change your ways and your actions and deal with each other justly, 6 if you do not oppress the foreigner, the fatherless or the widow and do not shed innocent blood in this place, and if you do not follow other gods to your own harm, 7 then I will let you live in this place, in the land I gave your ancestors for ever and ever.

One question for you is, do we have any saint on earth now? Cos I remember Paul in Romans talking about how he does things he wishes not to do and he even called himself a wretched Man Rom.7.19 - For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice. Rom.7.20 - Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. Rom.7.24 - O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? When do you know a sin is willful? I believe one can still commit the same sin more than ones and it doesn't mean it's willful because it's the same type of sin committed 2,3,4,5..... or 100 times. But I believe one can get better day by day by the help of the Holy Spirit helping him/her to stay away from sin. Confession is key and God is merciful...But we can't continue purposely in sin that grace may abound. Please don't think God have condemned you, cos you find yourself repeating a particular sin...Always ask yourself, how frequent you commit that sin and how better are you fighting it through the Holy Spirit...God knows at one point or the other we will fall into sin....So He made His mercy new every morning Lam.3.22 - Through the LORD's mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. Lam.3.23 - They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. Please don't let Satan deceive you by telling you that you don't deserve forgiveness, because you keep repeating the same sin...
The person in this video believes that Paul was never saved and never could be saved. This is what is said on his website at least. He even mentions most of the verses you've stated here for 'evidence' that Paul could never be saved. So, that's likely what he'd say to your comment...
Forget the old testament here... what Christ meant by 70 x 7 is to keep forgiving no matter how many times....whether wilfully or unwillfully committed sins. Forgiveness is infinite cos God knows our weakness and limitations to overcome sin esp the sin of the flesh.
Can u erase His death and resurrection? He is the new and everlasting covenant. His teachings a about forgiveness are all in present continuous. "Father forgive them for they not what they do"
@chjaka Jesus said ON THE CROSS "Father forgive them for they know not what they do" if they repented and believed that he was the son of God they absolutely would've been forgiven.
@chjaka repenting unto salvation is not to stop sinning. It's to have a change of heart from not believing in Christ to believing in Christ and his blood atonement for your sins. You're saying to stop sinning in order for one to be saved. If that is the case, Paul tells us that Christ died in vain if we obtain eternal life by works of the law. As long as we are alive, no one can completely and truly stop sinning. And please don't say willful sin but make an exception for sinning out of ignorance. Sin is sin and God will have no parts in it no matter how you shape it. Your works are not acceptable unto the holy God because you are not acceptable. Be made acceptable first, then your efforts will be made acceptable too.

Yet Peter did that exact thing 3 times, yet he repented of it and became one of the cornerstones of the Church, he repented. King David commited attrocities such as murder and adultery, but went through a season of godly sorrow and repented of it and was used mightily by God. In other words: Have no fear, you are still alive, you can still turn to God, and God is slow to anger and quick to show mercy. The bible said if we kept repeating "the same mistakes/sins" over and over again, then we might not be forgiven by God... Why?... because DEATH is only around the corner, and may catch up with us that we have no time to repent, then we are not SAVE (like death by accident, heart attack, etc.)... Christ said, keep your clothes/garments "CLEAN" at all times for you never know when the THIEF (Death) comes in your doorway... The "THIEF" symbolized "DEATH" and the "2ND COMING OF CHRIST," for nobody knows "the day and the hour" neither by the Son of God nor the Angels but the Father God alone knows... The bible said, that God is the "GIVER and TAKER" of all His creation's "LIVES"... while Christ Jesus (Son of God) is the "Life Giver" only... Christ said, he who believes in me, and I in him will have the Eternal (Giving) Life... To God, be the Glory, Power, and Honor, in Christ Jesus name... Amen.
All who through Gods grace become born again christains promised to when saved to give up many sinful ways , therefore making a vow to God? God takes vows very seriously we know that from scripture, Ecclesiastes 5:4 when you make a vow to God, do not delay in fulfilling it .He has no pleasure in fools ; fulfil your vow.
Wasn't this judgment by God in Jeremiah 14 & 15 based on the Covenant God had with His people? Does not God put his Word above His Name (Psalm 138:2), therefore, He acts according to His covenants with mankind? Far from their appeal in Jer. 14:21 for God to not "annul" or "break" His Mosaic Covenant with them, God was actually fulfilling His promised covenant with them as He had promised in Deuteronomy 28: They broke the covenant and the curse of the law came upon them. Therefore, while these are all examples for us (1 Cor. 10:6) for us to review, nonetheless, should we not be examining and viewing the scriptures through a new covenantal lens, and not be applying an Old Covenant viewpoint of God (1 Timothy 1:8; Galations 3:24-25) to His New Covenant people?? New Covenant is not of the letter of the Mosaic Law, but of the Spirit (2 Cor. 3:6). The Old Covenant, under which those perished in Jeremiah 14 & 15, has been done away with (Hebrews 8:8,13,9:15,12:24;Jeremiah 31:31). God doesn't change His Name, i.e., His character, who He is at the core of His being, BUT He does tie Himself to His Word and His covenants (again Psalms 138:2). The covenant of Promise that is by faith made to Abraham is shown to be a covenant that God still honors to all his seed, to Christ and those who believe. Yes, live holy lives, but this is not done by works of the law of Moses, but by His Spirit (Romans 8:13). Learn and obey Jesus’ sayings, His parables, His discipleship call, His commandments to love, because He is the Word of God come in the flesh; this One is now living by His Spirit inside His Temple, inside the surrendered believer (2 Cor. 15:3; Romans 8:9 ) and He Himself is the only One who can lead someone to follow Him in purity, in faih, in love, and in obedience to Him rightly. The disciple is not led with the words from stone tablets or Mosaic law, but one walks with the Lord by His Spirit (Heb. 10:15-17; Jeremiah 31:33,34; Hebrews 8:10). Does a Brephos, unborn/newborn infant, (Strongs #G1025), walk with the Lord the same way that a Nepios, little child who can't speak, (Strongs #G3516), or how a Teknon, a speaking & older child, a young person or adult, (Strongs #G5043) does? No, one must grow up! We all must not be Nothos, bastards, (Strongs #G3541), but learn by practice to discern good from evil (Hebrews 5:14) and to be sensitive to the Lord's Spirit within us to convict, to teach and guide us (John 16:12-14; 1 John 2:20-21;24-27), because it is only the Huios, the mature fully developed adult son, (Strongs #G5207), that we see are led by the Spirit of God and cry out "Abba, Father" by the Spirit (Romans 8:14,15; Galatians 4:6). The Teknon (G#5043) knows that he is truly a child of God, but this does not make him a son (Huios) yet. (Romans 8:16, 17). Those who received Him were given the right, the authority, to become children (Teknon) of God (John 1:12). No one should give up and count themselves out of the race or as reprobate while they still have the breath of life within them to cry out to the Lord, to humble themselves in prayer, in fasting and repentance, to apply the discipleship requirements to themselves as obligatory from their heart, so as to culminate in the complete surrender the Lord desires for His disciples, and to realize they all start as Brephos (newborns), but are called to become Huios, adult Sons, if they won’t give up. The Spirit is central to the process of holiness, so question any doctrine which somehow relegates Him only to 1st Century apostles. How shall anyone overcome without praying in the Spirit as commanded in Jude 1:20, and with all prayers in Ephesians 6:18? Acknowledge these are commands and as you do the first works again, do not be satisfied with your experience in the Lord until you know with certainty He is really in you. Luke 11:9-13. Acts 1:8;2:1-4. It is only by your complete and absolute surrender and willingness to obey Him that you will receive the Spirit by faith (Acts 5:32). You will receive the promise of the Spirit by faith and you will continue to grow in maturity by faith and not works of the Mosaic law. Working out your salvation with fear and trembling is not by observing Mosaic law, it is by His Spirit. Pursue surrender to the Holy Spirit unto walking holy as He is holy.
It seems like you do not understand the gospel of Jesus Christ, you’re not a Christian. The verse says exactly what it says, you’re supposed to forgive people even with deliberate sin. There are no such thing as accidental sin, you cannot try too water down sin all sin is unrighteousness and all sin leads to death period. Yes God will forgive your sins, even premeditated deliberate ones. David committed a premeditated deliberate sin, but yes God still forgave him, Israel practiced adultery and idolatry and God still forgave them and it was years and years of Israel disobeying God. The church of Corinth was sinning and yet Paul still said they were children and the church of God and he did say that they were still saved while living in sin. Paul was saved while he was sinning as well Roman’s 7. And no it is not about his past life, It was about his life as a Christian. Jeremiah31: 34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. James5: 16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Yes the Bible says even if our brother sins again and again and again, even after being rebuked we must forgive. Obviously this cannot be an accidental sin, if Jesus says if they do it again you are to forgive them, Peter asked Jesus how many times to forgive someone who sins against them he said over and over again, Peter than ask what if he sins against me again even after correction, the Bible is clear to keep forgiving again even if the person sins again, regardless if it’s the same sin or a different sin. Luke 17: 3 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. 4 And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him. So here we see that Jesus recognizes someone will deliberately continue to sin against us but we must still forgive, no matter what, Jesus did not give a pass on when it’s okay or not okay to forgive someone. Here’s a beautiful passage of Daniel repenting to God on behalf of Israel’s sins, Israel had sinned against God over and over again, deliberately, and this was years and years and generations of sins the Israelites have done so this is not just a few isolated incidents the Israelites were LIVING IN SIN yet Daniel still said God was forgiving and faithful, so obviously Daniel did not believe God will not forgive them for willful CONTINUOUS rebellion, even after they were wanted by the prophets. Daniel 7 O LORD, righteousness belongeth unto thee, but unto us confusion of faces, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, that are near, and that are far off, through all the countries whither thou hast driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against thee. 8 O Lord, to us belongeth confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against thee. 9 To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against him;
GOD ALREADY CLEANSE US AND FORGIVEN US,100%,BEC CHRIST DIED FOR US IN THE CROSS,HEB.10:10,HEB.10:14...WE ARE HOLY AND PERFECT IN THE SIGHT OR OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN,OUR SINS,ARE ALREADY SETTLED FORGIVEN,NEVER COUNTED BEC.IT IS FULLY PAID,OUR FAST PRESENT AND FUTURE SIN.....IF WE SINNED THERE ARE CONSEQUENCES OFCOURSE....ABSOLUTELY WE ARE FORGIVEN BY PUR HEAVENLY FATHER...AMEN...FOREVER MORE.
I agree with you on all accounts. My heart agrees with this topic and has for years. Curious of your advice on how to live knowing that I will not enter into Heaven, no matter what I do in the future.
According to this video's theology, Peter is not in Heaven, since he denied Jesus 3 times willingly and knowingly, yet Jesus forgave Peter. The views in this video and others just do not make logical sense. Don't listen to him.
Just a thought for people who want God to forgive them 70*7, let's say that a person comes onto God for repentence and God forgives that person, and let's say that the person was 20 years old and the person started sining when the person was 10 years old, so there are 365 days in a year, and let's say that the person committed one sin a day that is365*10= 3,650 sins before the person asked for forgiveness and was forgiven, yet the person still wants God to keep forgiving that person, WOW!
70 and 7 are not to be taken literally but are numbers representing completion. Peter says 7 which he means (no matter how many times) and Jesus replies 70*7 (no matter how many times times many many times!). 7 can be exchanged for the feeling "they sinned against me up to the point of being hard to trust" jesus replies "yeah that much and more!" I don't think there is a man alive who doesn't sin at least once weekly on avg in some way deliberate or not. We all still fall short even after baptism.
Glory be to God. Brother David is covering one aspect. You/brother Collin have been thorough on this strong topic in whichJesus be The Judge. If we just point out scriptures to others and if/when the correction from God occurs to bring them to the path of righteousness. We are to practice true repentance and true forgiveness amongst each other. Question is how we go about this with each other is it a reflection of other relationships in our lives? What we want as to what is? Others not being faithful stewards and are we even being good enough examples with prayerful effort to have any affect? Changing/growing everyday, seeking The Lord, and being humble all the time and trust in Jesus that He will wring us from wanting this filth. Things that are common to man. To much to little? Not to be void of natural affection. That is why we are to ask God for His Spirit so we have guidance and counsel. The angels ministered to Jesus even. John even wrote there is nothing to teach cause The Spirit of The Lord should be involved unless otherwise cause we cannot say. We are not in charge but that we are charged with. Even then...??? Seek The Lord. Glory unto The Father and Lord Jesus His Son.
Oh brother couple of things. I see the problem in your teaching and I say it with love and hopefully wisdom. You try to make us believe in God who will do as we would do with someone who sins against us. What is our nature? To forgive? Or to have vengeance and hate? Of course we will seek vengeance and try to punish the one who willingly did something against us. But is God the same. Read the WHOLE Bible and you will see the story of grace and forgiveness. There were times when God was angry at his people or other nations and he wipe them out but it was reserved for the times in old day's. The thing you said about forgiving seventy times seven. Where does it say that it doesn't apply to sins commited willingly? Show me. You just look at what you would do and you interpret the Bible how you think is the right way. When I look at the same verses I firstly understand that God's grace and mercy and love is way beyond anything we can think of. If you have case that God will never ever forgive a sin that you did willingly show me. Not with one verse but as a study of a whole. Did apostles lived a sinful life? Where does it say so? Even Jesus said that there is no one good but God. Paul when he was writing to churches who had problems with continuous sinning never said that it's over and God will never forgive them. No he always said repent. And even he said that we doesn't.know why he is doing things that he knows are evil and the good things he doesn't do. You don't have a case for unforgiving God. And the old testament is before Jesus sacrifice so try not to use it as a way of showing how God deals with sinners.
@@onerealityofficial The book of Jeremiah is written in a terrible times for Israel. Well as you know they were on constant rebellion against God. Which by the way shows you how even the most holy nation in the world, seeing and hearing God, is sinning constantly. But even when there are many situations in Israel history that God punish their iniquity he always forgives and restores them to the promises of one saviour who will finally change everything. The whole Old Testament is build specific for it's time and the reasons why God is going so many things that he isn't now shows you that after Jesus resurrection old became obsolete and new is in affect. Now I'm not saying that we shouldn't read the Old Testament but people like you tent to give us one verse when God shows his anger and punishment and this is the picture you want us to have. I know that God is jealous, slow to anger he shows that his patient has limit but let's leave Old Testament as a story of Israel and let's focus on the New. You have to prove your case. I need to be sure, before I believe, that there is no way God will forgive me a sin that I have committed willingly (I'm not saying that I have). And again Collin I love you and you are my brother (and I pray that we both meet up there in heaven and can chat about it) but you can't say that since you can't imagine someone sinning against you willingly to forgive him, God will do the same thing. He is so much better and perfect and Holy that either of us can imagine.
@@markcristian82 to add this was punishment for a corporate entity (a nation). I feel like this video frames Jeremiah 14 in the context of eternal salvation for an individual, but it is actually about the earthly punishment of a nation. Some were sent to captivity. We don't know if any of the generation is in heaven since Jeremiah 14 isn't talking about the resurrection. I would say it applies to the individual this way: keep sinning and there will be devastating consequences as we all see all around us in the World. Even if a murderer repents and is saved he may still wind up in jail for 50 years. Want to look at porn? God might throw you into intense suffering (see revelation letters to churches). This isn't a game, but God will forgive a truly repentant heart. David sinned and his child died! You must overcome your sin. It is NOT normal to be addicted to sin and you are expected to overcome. You are wrecking your life and endangering yourself to things you can't imagine. We can stop sinning because know God will forgive us. If we doubt God will forgive us, we cannot overcome. If you were at work and threw a trash at your bosses head repeatedly and say sorry each time do you expect everything to be fine? Do you expect a promotion? No you'd get fired. Would your boss kill you? No. So being fired is very bad but it is not bring killed. God can literally blind you under the new testament if he sees fit. How about paralyzing you? So you can sit and say my soul is saved because I truly repent each time I make a mistake, but you are doing real damage with your sin and it may be appropriate for you to suffer intensely for it in this life. If a repeat murderer repents each time does that undo the horrible damage done!? How about a repeat fits of rage person? Our sin is very damaging to us and others. So, we have to stop.
I am willing to forgive a person who is sincere in their repentance and may be connected to a particular sin, but the person must be truly broken and with a contrite heart and desire to be delivered and never go back. But I have seen too much complacency and people who truly love their sin but pretend to repent...all the while boasting, 'I am a sinner saved by grace. I will be a sinner all my life" as a false humility to cover their sins.. so now I say bye bye to that kind of Christians who is not sincerely looking for sanctification. I heard the case of a homosexual who was delivered by God at the age of 50. That's a long time sometimes. I think we should show compassion and love for our brothers and sisters who are sincere but there are also cases that love their sin and repent falsely... and personally I stay away from them. I also think that a person who dies in his sin is lost. People take sin so lightly when it is never without consequences and can break up marriages, families, careers... and even lead to spiritual death. How foolish this lightness with sin is...
You are misguided in Reading Luke 17:3-4 the Lord was telling us in that Bible verse to forgive our brother no matter what they have done to us or how many times they have done it to us we are to forgive them you read that Bible verse not with a spiritual mind but with a Earthly mind looking for a reason so you don't have to forgive your brother and add more to that Bible verse than what's actually there then you go to the Book of Jeremiah in the Old Testament not the New Testament I time before Christ died for the sins of man and say God's not going to forgive certain people that may be struggling with addiction and you discourage those people for living for the Lord by saying if you sin a certain sin repeatedly God's not going to forgive you and you're going to go to hell you're not doing the Lord's work you're doing Satan's work you are a false teacher and a false prophet and if you didn't mean to come off like that then you need to do a little bit better work with your message because it was wrong discouraged people that are struggling everyday with sin in their lives and are trying to do their best to live for the Lord and the impression I get from you are someone who lives in the flesh not in the spirit and is probably someone who doesn't struggle with much or hasn't had to struggle with much I pray to God above that you come the Lord Jesus Christ and repent your sin for this message
First I agree with you AND Colin. Second let's stop saying "you're a false teacher!" For forgiveness: just look at David's repetitive DELIBERATE sin (and we don't have all of his sins recorded but just the worst... probably). So yes we have to forgive even deliberate sins as God forgives deliberate sins that are confessed. Colin you're just wrong on that point but I don’t think you're a devil :). I'm married and trust me we need forgiveness for deliberate sins lol! Jeremiah 14 shows the character of God and not salvation. God is punishing the nation and nowhere did he say I will not save their souls. Were those who sent to captivity, pestilence, sword also individually eternally damned? We really don't know. The lesson is if you keep playing with fire God may not bail you out next time and there are levels of punishment (captivity is better than sword). Does that negate that the Lord forgives those who confess their sins? Also, perhaps their sins were about denying God as God and believing in other God's? Jesus said all sins forgiven except blaspheming the Spirit. Also, this was not like 5 years or 25 years of sin. This came after GENERATIONS of out right rejection of God. So, let's love one another and call ourselves today to really change. If you're addicted to something you HAVE to find a way to stop because there IS HOPE and he WILL forgive you. But you might get severely disciplined and I do mean severe. Have you seen the products of all types of addiction!? Get real with yourself. Do an inventory. Change your friends, cut off the hand and eye, get help like your life depends on it. Why? Because He will forgive you and He is invincible but you are not and can be led astray. Think about how hard it would've been to not go along with these Israelites? You have to get knowledge and reject even the ways of your family sometimes. He will accept you but get knowledge. Have you been baptized? Do you know the Bible? It is your life on the line. Read for yourself and search out the right path being fully assured that the one who seeks finds.
Collin. He will forgive you if you confess and forsake it. The problem is, if you are repeating, it may become next to impossible to forsake it, expecting to do the sin again and again.
Right. 2 Peter 2:20-22 KJV For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. [21] For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. [22] But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.
@@onerealityofficial Absolutely! However, we must also have faith that if we cry out to Jesus, He will help us with our struggles against temptations. We are to battle against temptation, but we should not assume we must do it alone. God is on our side in this battle. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, because they will be satisfied ! May the power of the Holy Spirit wash over you and keep you.
@chjaka then show scripture. 2 Peter 1:1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: Peter addresses believers. 2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. Peter is warning believers about false prophets who have not come into saving faith and rather than turn to the truth after hearing it they return to their lies. 2 Peter 2:20-21 20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. 21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. He's warning believers not to listen to false prophets.
@chjaka you just repeated what I said. Yes he was talking about false prophets/teachers and warning not to be like those prophets who hear the truth and turn back to the lie.
Hi Collin my name is Tim. I cannot put into words how thankful I am to have run across you. I have fallen so many times and have always known in my heart that 99% of all believers will end up in hell. God is Holy and by strict obedience to the Holy Spirit, we will be also. I am terrified because I am convinced I may end up in hell. Repeating the same sexual sin over 1000's of times and my outbursts of anger when my buttons get pushed only shows me that i am led by the flesh. I have stopped and repented 100's of times in tears but now because of fear of going to hell i have stopped all known sin and want to start serving people. But is it too late for me? I strive for sinless perfection but I am always too emotional. Is it too late?
i fell to sexual temptation once a few years back..... i was convinced that because i knew it was a sin, i would be damned. But at the same time, i was on some meds for depression/anxiety, and i knew i wasnt myself, and had done something completely out of character. i flushed the meds. i have repented and have been clean of any sexual immorality since realizing my sin. Your problem is, you gotta know where to start. #1. You GOTTA have the fear of God! The desire of the flesh is extremely strong, and we are weak, to say the least. It can take time to be cleansed from sin, but you MUST have the heart that truly fears God, and the desire to live unto him in holiness before he will deliver you. He wants to see how bad we want to be right with him, and how bad we really do hate our sin before he will free us; because deep inside, when we want something other than God, he lets us have it. So get the fear of God in you, forsake your sexual desires in your mind by putting Gods word into the forefront of your thoughts, and fight like your eternity depends on it, because it does. And when God sees you striving to please him, then he will step in and be your strength when you are weak. I hope and pray for your success. God bless your efforts.
Repent does not mean repeat. Repent means this particular offence has been understood totally that it is wrong. Your heart, mind soul and strength acknowledges, accepts with everything that makes you,you that I am an offender in this particular matter , I will cease to ever do it again. The rest of the offences would have to be ones you are unaware of that there must be forgiven. Jesus was instructing His followers how to care for people in the faith who are going through the process of repentance. People who know not what they do.
O FOOLISH GALATIANS WHO HAS BEWITCHED YOU! Galatians 3:10-11 10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. 11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. For those who believe in works based salvation, who here can HONESTLY say they keep the ENTIRE law ALL THE TIME??? Paul calls you all "cursed".
I just got scared after watching this video because I keep telling God im sorry but I keep sinning I get mad at people who make little noises they can't control i lie almost all the time I was mean to my mom today I swear rarely I say things that appsolutly no sense and I keep telling God im sorry I want to stop sinning but it's so hard im weak im afraid even after I stop sinning God will still reject me on judgment day pls pray for me I want to go to heaven I don't want to go to hell 😔
About the little noises, that could be either misophonia or hyperacusis. I have it too. There isn't much you can do except for noise-cancelling headphones and such. It's a common condition for people on the spectrum. I don't know how old you are, but maybe it helps to just know what the condition might be. Also, the views this person has are very questionable, as he believes that most people in scripture are in Hell and could never have been saved (Peter and Paul, for example), at least according to the logic found on his website, if I remember correctly what his website says. So I wouldn't listen to what he says, generally. But yes, it is important to repent from your sin. Keep praying and pursuing God.
What if you’d never been baptized then you do and as the Word says your sins would have been washed away? Isn’t it that being baptized completes our coming to or accepting Christ
Jesus didn't die on the cross for everyone who believes in him. He taught that obedience is required to enter his kingdom: Matthew 12:46-50 says: "While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to him. Someone told him, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you.” He replied to him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?” Pointing to his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers. For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.” Jesus also warned: Matthew 5:30 "And if your right hand causes you to stumble, (sin) cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell." Remember also that the five foolish virgins believed in Jesus, but he rejected them.
1JOHN 2:28 And now, little children, abide *in him;* that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. PSALM 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. ¤ 9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; 10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. (plague - by wrath of God)
We all must wait in the Holiness and Righteousness of Jesus Christ our Saviour, all the days of our life. And we ought to continue in this manner whether we live to see him return or must we die waiting. Our end is to experience the resurrection unto the dead, that is available to such (living in the Holiness and Righteousness of Christ) after Judgement. In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life. Luke 1:75 KJV bible.com/bible/1/luk.1.75.KJV For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 KJV bible.com/bible/1/1th.4.16-17.KJV That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. Philippians 3:10-11 KJV bible.com/bible/1/php.3.10-11.KJV In Summary we all must conform/transform to the image of Jesus Christ, which is by taking His Holiness + Righteousness + Ressurection experience (entering unto eternal life).
You are wrong to bring up Jeremiah 3 to explain this topic. Back then Israel lived under the covenant of Moses, the Law. Not under the blood of Christ. Obey the Law and you recieve God's favor, sin againt the Law and you get cursed and die. That was part of the covenant God made with Israel. Where is it written that those who are saved under Christ can still lose their salvation by sin? Where in scripture does it say "Go and sin no more or else your not saved anymore"? Those who keep BELIEVING and ACCEPT that they are under the blood of Christ are ALWAYS under the blood of Christ. It is that FAITH that keeps sin from having the power to put you in hell. "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved” (Acts 16:31) "Nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.(Romans 8:38) "For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace. (Romans 6:14)
This man is taking off on Mike Desario's wonderful lessons. I used to watch Mike on YT. One thing tho used to concern me. Mike was a cessationalist. So if he couldn't believe, understand & accept speaking in tongues etc, it makes you wonder about anything else he said. That said I know there's a false gift of tongues that's just jibberish. But why throw the baby out with the dirty water???🤔
@@julianhouston.bondservanto1191 Well palagian is right. We are NOT born with a sinful nature, we are amongst sinners from early childhood and it's influence of others that leads into sin.
Too much emphasis on the problem in the compromised church. Why not speak more of the victory that is IN CHRIST, that it is God who is at work in us to both will and to do of his good pleasure? It is God who perfects us, as we walk in love for one another. Apostle Paul said we are to have no confidence in the flesh.
So if I had a testimony and repented. And I wilfully sin and keep backsliding will God stop forgiving me if I wasn't sincere cuz I probably wasn't if I keep doing the same sin over and over. And if I decide to repent sincerely one day in my lifespan and return back to God after all this years doing the same sin over aamd over and ask him sincerely will he forgive me then? Or I'm done for forever?
If God will forgive you is between you and God. What I do know is some people have gotten to the unforgivable stage, and some people have received a lot of forgivness. The best thing you can do is to forsake sin and fear God. Proverbs 2.
Did Solomon lose the Spirit? Who are you yp say you lost something ypu can't see? Remember this is a Christian: believe is Jesus, be baptized (immersed), confess your sins, forgive others theirs, move forward committed to righteousness, rejoice in the Lord always. Sin, confess, move forward. Still sinning the same way? CHANGE YOUR APPROACH! GET HELP! Cut off the hand and gouge out the eye! Get rid of the alcohol in your house or your computer and tvs, or go to rehab for drugs (again if needed) you can overcome! Read pray read pray. Seek seek seek!
I think 1 John 1:1-2 answers this in a nutshell.. and so does 1 John 3: 9. You don’t commit sin , because your SPIRIT is born of God. Yes we still live in these worn out sinful bodies I get it , but not forever folks ! Bible is pretty clear on that. So If your born again you are born again ...Jesus did not say in John 3:16, and that the life he offered was Temporary life did he ? Nor did he go on to say that you can easily lose it ......That’s why most people are afraid because they think, by being good it gets them their ticket to Heaven. Christ said he said it was eternal life. And life he offered , not what you co pilot or piggy back on ...So rest in his work on the cross, John 3;16-18 , John 6:40, 47 and remember 1 John 3:5 , ...go ahead look it up ....Should we try to not sin , of course we should walk as he walked , the whole book of James speaks about works so others can see God thru you ! will we slip up , sure we will. but remember 1 thing Christ paid the way , we don’t finish the work or make payment’s on what he did , he paid the cost for sins period. John 1;12 says he who received him he gave the power to become sons of God, isn’t that wonderful! So do we sin yes in thought and miss deeds every day, are we perfect ? NO we are not God is. So receive this gift as stated in Ephesians 2:8:9, because we are justified freely As stated non Romans 3:23, 24,25,26, and remember when someone says you must do good just read Romans 3:28 and Romans 4:1, Romans 5:9, 10. You see it’s all Jesus Christ and his death on the cross 1Corinthians 1:1-4 , so do you believe it ? If so tell God Romans 10:8, 9,10 with emphasis on verse 10. God bless folks and believe in Jesus Christ because who the son sets free they are free in deed Romans 8:36. 🙏🏻
chjaka So you don’t believe Philippians 1:6, ? you still think salvation is 50 / 50 deal ? You better re read Matthew 7:21-23. Because the endurance scripture you quoted Matthew 24:13 is not dealing with your salvation and your personal ability to remain saved, read the 3 verses above and below In context It’s dealing with the second coming and false prophets rising before his return, and dealing with Israel and not you or, In any personal way.
It's hard work ! Like being diligent and on guard walking in the spirit not the flesh feeding our spirit with the word of God daily . Lot of work but good work nonetheless.
Amen brother What does God say? Who gets Mercy? Proverbs 28: 13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. Gots ta FORSAKE sin, Gotta repent with a Godly sorrow..ya Gotta put your sins behind ya 2Corin 7: 10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.......not be repented of, true repentance will not go back to the beggarly ways of the world, and a false worldly sorrow brings.....welll..... oooooph no mercy there But what about grace....Who gets grace? Isn’t it all unmerited favour...what does God say? 1 Peter 5: Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. James 4: 6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. Yes it’s the Humble that get Gods grace, that would be those that have recognised they are sinners ,have broken Gods Commandments and are worthy of death, they have Humbled themselves by true repentance and true faith in Jesus Christ , by turning back to God and away from sin, confessing and forsaking sin and now walking in obedience to the Lord, continuing to do his will and not their own....there are believers and true believers, if you believe you can’t stop sinning, maybe you just haven’t reached that blessed state of true repentance ,,,yet , but I assure you if you desire to please the Lord with all your heart you will, “strive to enter in through the straight(difficult) gate” Praise the Lord
@chjaka James 1:1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting It applies to all believers but it was specifically written to Jewish believers.
Frank Dust IV hey frank you don’t like the book of James well you can be like Luther and rip it out or start fires with it, but why stop there obviously Hebrews is just for the Hebrews and the gospels well that’s just for Jews and hey that pesky Old Testament well that can’t be for anyone but the Jews, see when you start removing parts of Gods word where foes it end ....I’ll tell you where....Hell. Rev 22: 18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. So you tare your bible to pieces the pieces that fit your personal view of God as for me , well, I’ll just believe the whole darn thing, James is scripture is it not...then 2 Tim 3: 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. Praise the Lord
@chjaka at this point you're just copying and pasting this same response. You say it's OBVIOUS he's talking about his conscience but can't prove it from scripture.
So If someone does a willful sin to the point where they aren’t showing true repentance ,are you saying they can’t be forgiven even if they do come to a point of true repentance and forsake that sin. Especially if they’re a true son and daughter of God. Predestined to be one of the elect.
Works based salvation is s messy belief that is false and riddled with uncertainty. Hebrews 10:26 is about willfully rejecting Christ. That's why there is no more sacrifice because Christ is the only acceptable sacrifice the father has given. Collin and these others say we are saved by Jesus and our works. Paul said Christ is the propitiation of our sins, not Christ and our works. Christ said he is the bread of heaven and whoever eats of his bread will never go hungry. He is the living water and whoever drinks from his well will never go thirsty. Its simple but they frustrate the gospel (Galatians 2:21). Paul even talks about the simplicity of the gospel. Works based salvation is not simple at all. If you believe in Jesus Christ and his atonement you have EVERLASTING life and it means just that...everlasting.
Shaun Williams Thanks for the encouragement my brother ! Love you man. Before I watched this video I slipped into one of the repeat sins I often fall into and I was seeking God in his word and saw a few explications of what will happen if you keep willfully doing repeat sins and I was touched by God in such a way that let me know that God hasn’t given up on me. I know that you can get to a point where you heart gets hardened and you repented heart is no more but I truly want to follow Jesus with all my heart and he knows my heart. So I just thank him for not giving up on me and his grace is just amazing. I repented from that sin and am doing my best to separate myself from the temptation like the parable of that it’s better for your arm to be cut off rather than your whole body be thrown into hell
@@devontacuffee5526 be encouraged. Your works play no part in your salvation. Paul said if it be of works it is no more grace but if it be of grace it is no more works. 1 Peter 1:4-5 4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. Notice peter says "inheritance". No one works for an inheritance. It's something given to you not because of what you do or don't do but simply because of who you are as an offspring. Also see how it says it never defiled or fades. Furthermore, verse 5 says we are kept by our works??? No! By God! It's God that keeps us, not our efforts to do right. And it says "through faith unto salvation". Not through works but faith! Paul tells us grace wouldn't be grace if you could work for it. Romans 4:4-5 4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. 5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. That's why Christ is so necessary. Anything else, please don't hesitate to ask. God bless you!
@@devontacuffee5526 also I did a video on the 2 judgments and in it I explain how works play no part in our salvation and how the judgment is not to determine where one goes. @@devontacuffee5526 one more for you bro John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: No mention of works but John says even to them that BELIEVE on his name!
MATTHEW 16:27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his *works.* 🙊(gasp) Jesus said *works.* 🙄
@chjaka yeah eternal life is not rewarded it's given freely, inherited, gifted. Good works are rewarded with treasures in heaven, evil works are rewarded with punishment. Show me one scripture where someone is "rewarded" eternal life.
@chjaka you avoid the points I make. Im not denying Jesus said works but the context is him slaying the antichrist and and his followers. And concerning eternal life, there is no scripture that says one earns or is rewarded but it does say it is a gift of God. It says we are heirs. It says we inherit the kingdom. These are things that can't be worked for. But you keep ignoring that.
@chjaka yes believers will be judged for their works. Paul talks about believers going to the judgment seat of Christ and being judged for everything we do in the flesh (he says every word thought and deed). 1 Corinthians 3:12-15 he talks about our works being tested and us gaining or losing rewards but us still being saved. The judgment doesn't determine where one will go, that is determine solely on one accepting or rejecting Jesus Christ. And Paul said the ordinances of the law were nailed to the tree when Christ died on the cross. Our sins were paid for on the cross. Unbelievers sins are not paid for, so they will be judged at the great white throne judgment (revelation 20) and ultimately tossed into the lake of fire. A believers works are judged for rewards, not where they will spend eternity. Christ is the author and finisher of our faith. There is no other name given among men under heaven by which one must be saved. So salvation begins and ends with Christ (not Christ and our works). That's why Hebrews 10 talks there being no more sacrifice if you willfully sin which is rejecting Christ. It talks trampling under foot his sacrifice. Collin said we partner up with God. How does one who is evil partner up with one who is Holy to aide in cleansing ourselves? Makes absolutely no sense!
Pastor David Servant had 41000 views to this video. The algorithms showed it to be young men. This shows that the repeated sin is most likely masturbation. Here we need compassion. This 41000 represents a lot more young men trapped in this vicious circle of masturbation, guilt, fear, shame and condemnation. They have no confidence in Father God and are useless to God. And they are crying out to God for forgiveness for this impossible to resist desire that knaws at them constantly. But does the Bible say that masturbation is a sin? The answer is no. Not even where it should say it as in Leviticus 18 and 1 Cor 7:9. Church leaders say it is because it is linked to lust and uncleanness. For a non-Christian, this is true. But is it always true for a spirit-filled Christian? Does God have the power to liberate one from lust and deliver one from the demon of lust? Is it possible by the power of God to be free of lust and reduced to one’s anatomical, created by God sexual desire? God created sexual desire as part of our reroductive system. Can/Does God create things that are unclean and unholy? Genesis 1:31 says that God’s creation, all of it, was good, very good. I took these questions to Jesus starting 16 years ago. Short answer from Him: Masturbation is a sin for non-Christians because it is part of their lust. It is not sin for Christians who are only dealing with sexual desire that God created. God does not give us desires to torment us unfulfilled. He is not an ogre, a monster who enjoys to see us suffer. That describes demons. The case that masturbation is a sin is based upon the fallacious logic that it is always linked to lust. I showed above that we can be free of lust and only deal with desire. It is based upon the bias opinion that sex is inherently dirty and sinful. We are programmed to believe this because it is paramount in our thoughts and emotions; we make up and tell DIRTY jokes; we either run from or wallow in the world’s smut. It is based on programmed feelings engendered by our fight against it or by wallowing in it. All of these are erroneous. God says that His thoughts are not our thoughts and His ways are not our ways. So why don’t we put aside our erroneous thoughts and seek the Bible and Spirit to know the truth. Why? 1. Pride. 2. The foundation of our ideology gives us security and so we can’t be wrong. That would put cracks in our foundation/insecurity. In Leviticus 18, God listed the sex sins for this new nation He was giving birth to. These were part of their laws that meant death if disobeyed. He was obligated to give all laws and not leave one out. HE LEFT OUT MASTURBATION. Why? Because for His children, it is not sin. If it was then God committed criminal negligence to leave it out of Israel’s laws. In 1 Cor. 7:9, Paul mentions us “burn” with passion and recommends marriage. As David Servant said, If Paul was going to say anything about masturbation, it would be here.” But Paul did not. He is also writing under the inspiration of God (2 Timothy 3:16). The Holy Spirit said nothing about masturbation. Paul was writing to Christians. Sexual desire can be aroused by things out of our control. 1. Exercise 2. Friction from our clothes. 3. Bumping into an object. 4. Being sexually assaulted with exhibitionism. 5. Accidentally seeing a sight one did not want to see ie the young lady with inappropriate clothing at church. It happens. God is not an ogre and He does not expect us to suffer it out. 1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. When the Church says it is a sin for Christians, it is handing satan a tool to use against Christians to crush them with guilt, condemnation, fear and shame. When one learns it is not sin, satan is disarmed and the Christian is liberated.
Oh word of God mentions the word Christian only three times but it mentions disciples over 240 times a Christian believes some facts about Jesus, what a disciple hears those are the ones who hear the word of Jesus and obeys big difference between so-called Christians and disciples.Today’s Fall away Way, Christians are not true disciples
Here's the Truth...You cannot mock God..You will not ever be forgiven unless you have true repentence..And true repentence is being sorry enough to stop doing those wicked things..You cannot be forgiven of Sins that you are living in..If you want forgiveness you must stop what you want to be forgiven for..God doesn't even hear the Prayers of those who live in Wickedness .So imagine living like a demon and trying to pray to God and you have no idea that he will never hear your prayers..People who disregard the Law and don't keep it ..To God .Your prayers are Abominations to him...This is why it's silly for Christians to think they can just Pray and Ask for forgiveness and they will just get that forgiveness..God isn't stupid..You have to be serious and genuine...You have to mean it..You have to stop those sins you want forgiven..And Don't go back to them..There is no such thing as once saved always saved...If you live in sin daily..and you die as you are living in daily sin..You will go to Hell ..
And you really think that a saint is someone who does right? Saint/sinner speaks to the regenerated or unregenerated spirit of a person. It's referencing the inward man and not the outward man. Saying you're a saint because YOU do what is right, gives the credit to who? You or God? I'm a saint not because I work hard to do what is right because I still have my flaws but because of Christ in me.
@@lizzy6319 so explain why Paul still referred to the Corinthians (in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11) washed, redeemed, and justified (i.e. had the Holy Spirit) even though they were committing shameful acts.
@@shaunwilliams2312 jesus didnt defend himself Neither does this man have to . You like most Christians today love easy believism and avoiding the 4 gospels like the plague
Those who preach against hyper-grace and the false idea that Jesus is my magic cover over my sin therefore I can live carelessly and loosely are in equal danger too. Those who in their zeal to combat error (even though solid in their faith) go to such an extreme that they end up in error themselves. This guy is just taking off the late Mike Desario and his teachings. Which WERE 99% truth, but the other 1% false made Desario a dangerous teacher.
Collin, do you believe that God know all possibly choices that people can make, and there natural consequences but doesn't know what they will chose? I personally know this is what Christ has revealed to me. Yes sometimes God knows what people will chose, but some moments when freewill is a reality, then God doesn't know what will happen. Calvinism is an abomination, but I only believe 4 of the 5 points of Arminianism, as they say that the elect are those that God foresaw would chose Him, thus He predestined them, but if this is the truth, God would have know from before the creation was made, who would chose Him and thus it would make sense to send Jesus to die only for those that would believe in Him. But we know from scripture that Jesus died for everyone. This is where both Calvinism and 1 of the points of Arminianism is false. Thus only God having limited knowledge could be the truth. Because by Jesus dying for everyone, it is God saying, everyone has the chance to repent and come to God. Another point to support my view, which is anecdotal evidence but is still a form of evidence, is often Jesus has revealed to me that I could have obeyed Him in certain times of my life, and that very language of COULD, shows to me that it was a possibly reality that could have occurred, I could have chosen not to sin, but I chose to sin. Another reality is praying for people and knowing that Christ reveals to me they COULD one day be with God for eternity, this language again shows me that God is saying its still unknown, even to Him, and that it depends on their freewill choice. People may bring up 1 John 3:20 " For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things." Trying to say to me that look, God knows all things. But my understanding of that is that it means all things that can possibly be known. My proof for that is it says in Gen 18:14 "Is anything too hard for the LORD?" Jer 32:27 "I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me? and the main one I want to highlight Matt 19:26 "But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” However Hebrews 6:18a says "so that by two unchangeable things, in which IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD TO LIE," This appears to be a contradiction, Jesus said nothing is impossible for God, then Hebrews says its impossible for God to lie, thus what I know God has revealed to me is that anything that is in alignment with God's character, is possible for God to do. Its the only way I know to understand this seeming contradiction. So bringing this to my point about the 1 John 3:20 scripture, yes God knows all things, all things that are knowable. Even His knowledge has boundaries, it sounds heretical, but if I said God's power is within boundaries, such as HE doesn't have the power to allow a totally wicked person into heaven, He doesn't have the power to flood the earth with water again, as He promised He wouldn't, that would make sense, thus showing that God is all powerful, but all powerful within the boundaries of His character, in His power He promised to never flood the entire world again, so its BEYOND His power to flood the entire word again. Thus proving even God's power is within boundaries. This is such an essential doctrine, as ive come to see the error that people like Ray Comfort make in that they think if someone falls away from the faith it means that they were never truly born again. They fail to understand that the righteous person whom is right with God can become wicked later in life and be eternally cut off from God. Another issue is the idea that because people think God knows all things, He choses to save people KNOWING that they will sin in the future, but He knows that and is choosing to save them anyway. This is faulty and in error this idea, because then it brings in the idea that I don't have to truly fear God each day and chose righteousness everyday as God already knows ill sin and He already chose to save me so He will wash away these sins. My God tells me that I must never lie, and ive made it a big issue in my life that has caused issues, for example in Australia where I live we have a welfare system which provides me with money if im a university student or looking for full-time work, which ive been both of them. I was in the office doing paper work at the desk of one of the welfare workers and she said sign here, and I saw that it read something like "By signing this document you acknowledge that you have read such and such a document" and I told her, I cant sign this until I read the document, and she got angry at me because she was busy and had many more people to serve, she said no one ever reads the document, but I had a choice, sacrifice truth and righteousness on the alter of convenience, or chose the straight and narrow road, im happy to say I chose obedience to God. This has happened more then once and people always seem to get mad. Another example is when you sign up for a new phone or sim card, and it says by ticking this box (which you must do to proceed with the new sim card activation online) you agree you have read the terms and conditions, these documents are often VERY long, but I cant lie for I fear hell, even though im beloved by The Father I know He shows no favouritism, (Acts 10:34) and that all liars will have their part in the lake of fire, (Rev 21:8) Christian or non Christian, so I either chose to spend the time reading the terms and conditions, or I chose not to have a new phone or sim card, lying is not a option for God's people. This I see and believe that because of easy believism and Calvinism, and the reformation idea of faith alone many truly saved people are going ahead and not really caring about reading the terms and conditions, because that would take time and effort, but a lie is a lie. This is just a small example of people being blasé about something that leads to sin, but the consequences of such a sin is eternity in the lake of fire, so its no small matter. That is why I really liked finding your channel as anyone that teachers the importance of obeying the law of God, is doing an amazing thing. Something else I want to point out is you should pray to God about the idea of not monetising your UA-cam channel, as ive seen very inappropriate things being advertised, not before your videos but other channels, but is there a choice in what kind of advertisement is shown before your videos? if there isn't I wouldnt personally be allowing my channel to be monetised as I would feel im selling out the truth by allowing the evil world to promotes its products before my videos start playing. One really inappropriate thing I saw before a certain video, was a thing about a show or movie or something and it was talking about a time of the month or year when werewolf's become filled with insatiable lust for sex, something I would not want to come on before a video about the Holy and Perfect God. I just want to encourage you, I think you are speaking so much truth, and while I don't believe everything you say, (im still undecided about sinful nature of man from birth, and sinless perfectionism being attainable) I know Jesus has opened your eyes to many things and you are doing a service to God. Blessings to you in Jesus mighty Name. Your brother in Christ, Jesse.
you are right that repenting and confessing is nonsense. Why? Because God forgave all future sins! Read Colossians 2:15. All of our sins were future when He died on the cross! Sadly you don't believe that and claim your works saved you
Even if you aren't sure if God's forgiveness can apply to you, still seek Him and pray He has mercy to forgive and also to save you from your addiction, whatever it takes. It'll be worth it. Ps. 41:4 - I said, “Have mercy on me, LORD; heal me, for I have sinned against you.” (In the context of the whole psalm, remember that the devil is your spiritual enemy, and you can pray the whole thing against him and his minions)

Paul said that that covenant can't even be revoked by the law of God gal three and No one can add to or take away. @@thepotterandclayministry unfortunately Collin removes grace in his teachings. Your works don't get you saved nor keep you saved. Mulsims and mormons believe in works based salvation and a lot of them don't know where they will spend eternity but 1 John 5:13 says you can KNOW. Realistically speaking, each day we don't know what we'll do. We have good intentions to do right but that might not be the case. So if you sin, according to Collin, you lost salvation. Which means people are just losing salvation and getting re-saved all willy nilly everyday. However Paul says that we died with Christ and rose with him also. And according to Hebrews 10, Christ died ONCE for sin. Christ said he is the bread of heaven and whoever eats of him will NEVER go hungry again. What Collin doesn't realize is that he's offering up his works and not Christ who is the spotless Lamb of God. In the old testament it HAD to be a spotless animal and now that Christ came and did his redemptive work on the cross, he was the ONCE AND FOR ALL sacrifice that APPEASED the wrath of God. Nowhere in the bible has God's wrath every been appeased except when it came to Christ which Isaiah 53 also states it PLEASED GOD to bruise him (prophetically speaking about Christ). Galatians 6:7-8 KJV Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. [8] For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

Those who know God don’t dwell in sins, besides, God always reward the will of doing good. Genesis 4:7 « If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.”

John F. You are believing in a very dangerous doctrine likely to lead you to eternal damnation
Well you are wrong and you believe a false doctrine...Matthew 7:21-23, is very clear on what you get for trying to do it your way.

chjaka hey , I don’t sin because I’m in Christ who knew no sin. , 1John 3:9. ., Good luck with your works Romans 5:1 ...
Aren’t we always required to forgive people? Jesus said if we don’t forgive our enemies, God won’t forgive us.
Unforgiving citizens are much worse than murderers and other secular criminals
The secret is in 2 instances in the Bible. When Jesus was asked a similar question He replied 70 x 7. Then if you remember His prayer, He taught us how to pray, he prays to the Father, for Him to forgive us as we forgive others. This makes it very important for us to love one another and forgive so as to not exceed our own forgiveness.
God can’t forgive Nintendo for refusing to forgive it’s fans who were passionate to it’s fans
I was told that God will always forgive if you mean it sincerely, but you have to stop your sins that your committing that your asking forgiveness for
I sincerely pray I haven't gone too far
Same here
If this is what you fear, you have not gone too far, because your heart is being moved by the spirit.

We do not have two natures. We must stop sinning. We can stop sinning if we truly are repentant. We are to forsake sin.
That's why Jesus said in MATTHEW 26:41
"Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak."
So now that you know that, you have no excuse....

ACTS 26:20b ...and then to the Gentiles, that they should *repent* and turn to God, and *do works meet for repentance.*
what if you comitted that same sin over and over knowing it was wrong and then finally decided you didn't want to offend God anymore and you turn from that sin repented and ask God to forgive you??
"Will God Forgive Me of Repeat Repetitive Sins? If I Keep Committing The Same Sin?"
Well, let's see.

17 For mine eyes are upon all their ways: they are not hid from my face, neither is their iniquity hid from mine eyes.
18 And first I will recompense their iniquity and their sin double; because they have defiled my land, they have filled mine inheritance with the carcases of their detestable and abominable things.

Here’s another scripture to rest on and to be motivated by:
“Dear friends, if we deliberately continue sinning after we have received knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice that will cover these sins. There is only the terrible expectation of God’s judgment and the raging fire that will consume his enemies”

One question for you is, do we have any saint on earth now? Cos I remember Paul in Romans talking about how he does things he wishes not to do and he even called himself a wretched Man
Rom.7.19 - For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice.
Please don't think God have condemned you, cos you find yourself repeating a particular sin...Always ask yourself, how frequent you commit that sin and how better are you fighting it through the Holy Spirit...God knows at one point or the other we will fall into sin....So He made His mercy new every morning
Lam.3.22 - Through the LORD's mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not.
Thank you so much for elaborating it.. . Godbless u and more power for your ministry, Godbless your family as well.. . ❤❤❤❤
Forget the old testament here... what Christ meant by 70 x 7 is to keep forgiving no matter how many times....whether wilfully or unwillfully committed sins. Forgiveness is infinite cos God knows our weakness and limitations to overcome sin esp the sin of the flesh.

Just be humble my dear brothers. Humility conquers all.
Be made acceptable first, then your efforts will be made acceptable too.

hey TentMaker can you message me on some app you might use cause I don't know who to talk to about all this and I dont know to believe anymore. and I get scared at the fact that I feel like God won't forgive me and It scares me so much. I'm only 13 and I need a lot of help.
@@aaaa-lj4bs There is always hope as long as you are breathing. Remember that. You can always repent and turn over a new leaf. Jesus said if you deny me, I will deny you.
God wants ALL to come to repentance and will not turn away someone with a seeking heart.
God bless you, thats all I can say. Remember its the devil deceiving you into thinking "Oh there is no hope, im beyond redemption, God wont forgive me" that way he keeps people away from God.
@@tentmaker2254 i mean i knew what I was doing when I fell in sin but I deeply regret doing that but looking at some of Collins videos it seems that God wont forgive me. I just wanna obey God. I do believe what collin is saying is true but I just get scared at the fact that God wont forgive me.
Matthew 18:21-22
King James Version
21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?
22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.
God takes vows very seriously we know that from scripture,
Ecclesiastes 5:4 when you make a vow to God, do not delay in fulfilling it .He has no pleasure in fools ; fulfil your vow.
It seems like you do not understand the gospel of Jesus Christ, you’re not a Christian. The verse says exactly what it says, you’re supposed to forgive people even with deliberate sin. There are no such thing as accidental sin, you cannot try too water down sin all sin is unrighteousness and all sin leads to death period. Yes God will forgive your sins, even premeditated deliberate ones.
David committed a premeditated deliberate sin, but yes God still forgave him, Israel practiced adultery and idolatry and God still forgave them and it was years and years of Israel disobeying God. The church of Corinth was sinning and yet Paul still said they were children and the church of God and he did say that they were still saved while living in sin.
Paul was saved while he was sinning as well Roman’s 7. And no it is not about his past life,
It was about his life as a Christian.
Jeremiah31:
34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
James5:
16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
Yes the Bible says even if our brother sins again and again and again, even after being rebuked we must forgive. Obviously this cannot be an accidental sin, if Jesus says if they do it again you are to forgive them, Peter asked Jesus how many times to forgive someone who sins against them he said over and over again, Peter than ask what if he sins against me again even after correction, the Bible is clear to keep forgiving again even if the person sins again, regardless if it’s the same sin or a different sin.
Luke 17:
3 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.
4 And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
So here we see that Jesus recognizes someone will deliberately continue to sin against us but we must still forgive, no matter what, Jesus did not give a pass on when it’s okay or not okay to forgive someone.
Here’s a beautiful passage of Daniel repenting to God on behalf of Israel’s sins, Israel had sinned against God over and over again, deliberately, and this was years and years and generations of sins the Israelites have done so this is not just a few isolated incidents the Israelites were LIVING IN SIN yet Daniel still said God was forgiving and faithful, so obviously Daniel did not believe God will not forgive them for willful CONTINUOUS rebellion, even after they were wanted by the prophets.
Daniel
7 O LORD, righteousness belongeth unto thee, but unto us confusion of faces, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, that are near, and that are far off, through all the countries whither thou hast driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against thee.
8 O Lord, to us belongeth confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against thee.
9 To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against him;
GOD ALREADY CLEANSE US AND FORGIVEN US,100%,BEC CHRIST DIED FOR US IN THE CROSS,HEB.10:10,HEB.10:14...WE ARE HOLY AND PERFECT IN THE SIGHT OR OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN,OUR SINS,ARE ALREADY SETTLED FORGIVEN,NEVER COUNTED BEC.IT IS FULLY PAID,OUR FAST PRESENT AND FUTURE SIN.....IF WE SINNED THERE ARE CONSEQUENCES OFCOURSE....ABSOLUTELY WE ARE FORGIVEN BY PUR HEAVENLY FATHER...AMEN...FOREVER MORE.
I am new knowing my lord that's the way you to know about you guys who more knows about my lord
I agree with you on all accounts. My heart agrees with this topic and has for years. Curious of your advice on how to live knowing that I will not enter into Heaven, no matter what I do in the future.
Phillip why do you think this?
What were your thoughts on Jeremiah 14-16?
Yesss youre right
@@markcristian82 to add this was punishment for a corporate entity (a nation).
Wow is this a gosple of terror? Does this guy sin ever? I mean, is this man sinless?
Right.
2 Peter 2:20-22 KJV
For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
@@onerealityofficial context. 2 Peter 2 was about false prophets, not born again believers who sin.
@chjaka then show scripture.
2 Peter 1:1
Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:
Peter addresses believers.
2 Peter 2:1
But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
Peter is warning believers about false prophets who have not come into saving faith and rather than turn to the truth after hearing it they return to their lies.
2 Peter 2:20-21
20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
Great video!
O FOOLISH GALATIANS WHO HAS BEWITCHED YOU!
Galatians 3:10-11
10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
Pray harder sister🔥 don’t give up or put yourself down. I believe it was AW Tozer who said The praying man stops sinning🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Because I have my Bible my bed even do I don't know everything about my lord but all I know I believe
What if you’d never been baptized then you do and as the Word says your sins would have been washed away?
Isn’t it that being baptized completes our coming to or accepting Christ
Jesus didn't die on the cross for everyone who believes in him.
He taught that obedience is required to enter his kingdom:
Matthew 12:46-50 says:
"While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to him. Someone told him, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you.”
He replied to him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?” Pointing to his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers.
For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.”
Jesus also warned:
Matthew 5:30
"And if your right hand causes you to stumble, (sin) cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell."
Remember also that the five foolish virgins believed in Jesus, but he rejected them.
God forgives the one who sins no more
Where shall we wait for our Lord's return and have eternal life?
1JOHN 2:28 And now, little children, abide *in him;* that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
PSALM 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
¤ 9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; 10
There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

@Tom Bladecki Why Chicago??
@Tom Bladecki Thanks Tom, makes sense.
"Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved” (Acts 16:31)
"Nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.(Romans 8:38)
"For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.
Mike was a pelagian

Too much emphasis on the problem in the compromised church. Why not speak more of the victory that is IN CHRIST, that it is God who is at work in us to both will and to do of his good pleasure? It is God who perfects us, as we walk in love for one another. Apostle Paul said we are to have no confidence in the flesh.

Welcome to the beard club by the way.
Proverbs 2.

I believe the phrase is "presumptuous sin"...
"David Servant" is one of those who is too cowardly to show their true name
Jesus said you must do good works or you ain't his follower and are not saved period .
Jonah 3:10 says turning from our sins is a WORK. Like it or not
It's hard work ! Like being diligent and on guard walking in the spirit not the flesh feeding our spirit with the word of God daily . Lot of work but good work nonetheless.

What does God say? Who gets Mercy?
Proverbs 28: 13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
Gots ta FORSAKE sin, Gotta repent with a Godly sorrow..ya Gotta put your sins behind ya
2Corin 7: 10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.......not be repented of, true repentance will not go back to the beggarly ways of the world, and a false worldly sorrow brings.....welll.....
oooooph no mercy there
But what about grace....Who gets grace? Isn’t it all unmerited favour...what does God say?
1 Peter 5: Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
James 4: 6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
Yes it’s the Humble that get Gods grace, that would be those that have recognised they are sinners ,have broken Gods Commandments and are worthy of death, they have Humbled themselves by true repentance and true faith in Jesus Christ , by turning back to God and away from sin, confessing and forsaking sin and now walking in obedience to the Lord, continuing to do his will and not their own....there are believers and true believers, if you believe you can’t stop sinning, maybe you just haven’t reached that blessed state of true repentance ,,,yet , but I assure you if you desire to please the Lord with all your heart you will, “strive to enter in through the straight(difficult) gate”
Praise the Lord
James was written to the... twelve tribes.
@chjaka James 1:1
James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting
It applies to all believers but it was specifically written to Jewish believers.
Rev 22: 18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
So you tare your bible to pieces the pieces that fit your personal view of God as for me , well, I’ll just believe the whole darn thing, James is scripture is it not...then
2 Tim 3: 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Do u know how much grace GOD had given them?

Notice peter says "inheritance". No one works for an inheritance. It's something given to you not because of what you do or don't do but simply because of who you are as an offspring. Also see how it says it never defiled or fades. Furthermore, verse 5 says we are kept by our works???

MATTHEW 16:27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his *works.*
🙊(gasp) Jesus said *works.* 🙄
Yeah, the 2nd coming of Jesus when he saves israel from the antichrist and all who follow the antichrist (Revelation 20) by slaying them. Context.
Right division of Gods word is needed this what happens with hyper grace and sinless perfection..they don’t rightfully divide Gods word..

What happened john: 3-16
1. Exercise
1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.
When the Church says it is a sin for Christians, it is handing satan a tool to use against Christians to crush them with guilt, condemnation, fear and shame. When one learns it is not sin, satan is disarmed and the Christian is liberated.
@Northern Wolf No. Porn is a sin.

Plz pray for me..i need healing plz

@@onerealityofficial You want to know sin. Read the law of God in Gen to Deut. that defines everything. I have done some research on the Gospel. if you would like to chat I'd be happy to share. the Gospel is not what we've been told. at least from what I've read in scripture.
Collin Michael so you believe in works and being a good boy. You better re read Matthew 7:21-23. Because Christ saves with his work on the cross 1Cor 15;1-4 by which you were saved. Also see John 3:16-18 , John 6: 40,47 . Ephesians 2:8-9. Can your spirt sin when yo trust on Christ No per 1 John 3:9. So stop teaching lies to people and teaching works and good deeds.
@@johnf.6942 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
Hebrews 10:26-29 KJV
The Law of God is the Gospel. You must obey the Gospel.
Shalom
Another lie that has been spread is that the Bible was the inspired word of God and that Jesus was Jewish. The Bible does have contradictions. Only Jesus' words matter. If we don't follow him and make excuses because of Paul, we will die.
Proof that Jesus supposedly was not Jewish. Also, you support anti Christs like this Burzum guy on your channel
@@julianhouston.bondservanto1191 are you offended by the truth about mass immigration?
@Saved and Sealed well said
Well I'm sorry fellows your both wrong. Your already completely forgiven if your born again. We have been reconciled to God by the death of his son not by quitting sinning. If any have a quarrel forgive even as God for christ sake hath forgiven you all trespasses. Notice it don't say for your sake. It says for christ sake. We are not forgiven because we quit sinning we are forgive because of the blood of the lamb. The empty grave is the proof believers are forgiven. Not necessarily our spiritual maturity. I believe the seed of abraham or Christians are already forgiven. We are the seed God promised abraham and that we would endure forever. Paul said that that covenant can't even be revoked by the law of God gal three and No one can add to or take away. So if a Christian is not forgiven he can't endure forever as God promised abraham and his seed. If a Christian is not forgiven then the law can disannul the promise if a Christian is not forgiven then that covenant can be added to or taken away from. I'm glad I helped you fellers he that has entered into his rest hath ceased from his own labor. Faith alone.
I want the answer
That's why we have repent
So backsliders cant come back to God?
Its between God and them. God may grant them repentance, but he may not. Ultimately, the solution is to fear God and depart from sin. Proverbs 2.
@@onerealityofficial the only reason why I ask is, I've seen this myself in scripture and everytime i took or take it to Christian's they say what the other guy says, I'm trying to figure out my salvation. I was on fire holy ghost filled baptized for sook all street preaching, for sook family etc hit hard times and returned to my vomit. And I struggle with this if I should even try to return
If you believe Christ is Lord and died and rose for your sins then you are sealed. (Roman's 10:9-10, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4)
Quote the rest of 1 John 5 Shaun.
1 John 5:18-19 KJV
We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not. [19] And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
That's what WE CAN KNOW realistically. Realistically, we are responsible for our own actions and will reap what we sow.
Galatians 6:7-8 KJV
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. [8] For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
I'm not presenting "my works", I've been cleaned by the blood of christ. Its through his blood that my sins have been washed, its through my obedience that he gives this to me. (Luke 10:25-28)
@@onerealityofficial you continue to double talk. You present a verse that you interpret as if you're saved then you can't sin. But you already told me that was "nuts" to think such a thing.
And you said you were washed by the blood and by your works he gives it to you??? What verse is that?!
If you're washed Collin, that means you already received atonement for your sins. But if you're saying the offers on the table for you to be redeemed and your works allow you receive it, then you just admitted to EARNING your way into heaven.
If God don't forgive
I'm afraid few be there that find it ,.
So-called Christians don’t even know what the word redemption me it means the deliverance the loosening of the balance of shit just with the blood of Christ loves the deliverd u From the bondage of sin when he died on the cross it’s past tense Jesus words are the words of eternal life that’s why the first disciples kept Kobe because they keep you from going back into the bondage of sin the first disciples know nothing about him dying on the cross and get their names were written in heaven because they repented and were converted in the baptism and water shows with your heart was it was changed that’s why I need your written in heaven but a person can take away from Jesus wordsAnd Jesus says if you take away from my words I’ll take away your name out of the book of life no one soul is saved now you cannot find one scripture that says the words your soul is saved now but James says if you humble yourself with meekness is humility and receive the engrafted word which are the words that came from the apostles which came from Jesus.to the sheep, the words of Jesus for that’s what is able to save your soul James 1:21,then you walk in the light which is Jesus words, his words are lamp unto your feet Ps:119:105,133.if you keep obeying him Jesus says you’re set free from sin only if you keep obeying proving that God is working in you because the word is God
