      @@yafois988 why, for quoting the Bible and believing the actual good new about the Gospel? Tell me, after you were saved by faith alone through grace alone, what sin is the one the ends it all? Because all Sin = death. So you never sin? Ever? I mean the logic behind your salvation makes no sense. Did Jesus save you or vice versa? I have died to sin because of Christ, I don't desire to sin, but I'm still living a fleshly body.... I confess my sin and repent.... Which is a sign of genuine faith. To I lose my salvation whenever I sin, and hope I got time to ask for forgiveness after?

      Because you can NOT cease SINS.
      When in fact you can, by choice Just like you can CHOOSE to SIN, as SIN is 100% of the time “A Choice” not a “nature reaction”, as the Apostles and Christ said is a Mandate to.

      20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
      21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven
      Christ then speaks of the wise man who doing the will of God builds his house on the rock and when the floods came he is okay, whereas the follish man who fails to do his will is figuratively building on sand.

      So true, and such are these who contend with you my friend. The OSAS doctrine is one that has been arrived at based on inalterable presumptions derived from a gospel which is fundamentally flawed at its core. Because very few are willing or able to look deep at the root cause, we end up throwing verses back and forth in a proverbial food fight with similar results. Here's the real issue: The notion that justification is a one time declaration which in an instant guarantees salvation, that we remain unrighteous and continually mired in sin, and that Christ's righteousness is the only basis by which we will now be judged are some of the errors which have spawned the false OSAS catastrophe. All of these things are provably false for anyone who relies on the Scriptures under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.     I watched this before and thought this was valid but Coming back after studying and being granted more wisdom from the Holy Spirit I see these verses must be read in context while keeping in mind ppl who say that they believe (“the believers”) aren’t necessarily saved.
    “They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.” 1John 2:19
    And we must know the differences between our calling, our acceptance, justification through our adoption, our sanctification, and glorification.

      If you look at the context of the verse you posted you would see you’re using it out of context. Just check out the verse before that verse. That verse is talking about anti christs in the church who deny Jesus being the son of God. And it is saying they were never a part of them in the first place. That verse is not about osas and people never being believers in the first place. Be careful with throwing the word context around. Look at how easy it is to think you’re in context and be incorrect. The Bible makes it clear. Falling away is a very serious possibility. And living in the flesh even as a Christian results in death. We are told to walk in the spirit and warned about walking in the flesh. Anyways I hope you reconsider and carefully read so that your knowledge leads to more holiness and righteousness. Fear of the lord is where wisdom begins. God bless🙏🏽 hope this helps I don’t mean this in a argumentative way. I just struggled with this topic a lot and want to help others heed the warnings of the Bible instead of following convincing man made doctrines that seem to be valid.

      @@thelegendofneo I don’t think anything you said made anything clear to me that I was using the verse out of context.
      The ENTIRE CHAPTER is speaking to God’s children (hence, the reoccurring “Little children,….”) which speaks to my point.
      Furthermore, Salvation IS a path. Sanctification IS a process. Glorification is the goal… yet we still cannot LOSE salvation because it’s not something you can lose. So if you have fallen or backsliding… it doesn’t mean you are forsaken or condemned. But we can absolutely INTENTIONALLY turn away from him. We can choose sin. Simply choosing our comforts & personal desire over God’s will is stagnancy & disobedience (which is sin); if we choose these things we are quenching the Holy Spirit - searing our Conscience. Eventually we will wither and be cut off and thrown into the fire (John 15).
      But the Good News is that Jesus saves and is the author & perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). If we choose to remain in His love, we WILL indeed preserve to the end.
      He is our rock. The joy of the Lord is our strength. He himself is our peace and our provider. All we need to do is to choose him over all through everything, every time.
      WE CHOOSE.

      1 John 2:19 is ONE specific instance. You cannot say every person who ever walks away was never saved from the start just from this one verse... ESPECIALY when you have other verses that say exactly and explicitly that people will fall away from the faith.

    The Gospel is good news!! What good news is this man presenting? The very word saved means saved presently Rom10:13 and permanently! Think about this? what good news is it if you are saved and made a new creation in Christ but can somehow mess that up and lose your salvation? You have to rely on yourself and not Jesus to keep you saved then!!! Hey friends ,he keeps us saved! Jude 1:24

      It’s not like a “I lost my keys.” It’s a forfeit. Why would someone want to forfeit their salvation? Idk. But almost every time the Bible mentions permanent salvation is if you remain. Look at Hebrews 10:36 *For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised.*

But let's look at the whole chapter before and after and the main points here.. who it was written to also,, Jewish Hebrews who were not all Christians and were looking at going back to their former ways of trusting in the law for salvation.. the writer of Hebrews was speaking to both True believers and those that were on the border and not true believers yet.. so he was encouraging the True believers to be assured of their faith and he was warning those that hadn't put their full trust in Christ to do this or their trampling underfoot Jesus and the message of the Gospel.. as far as enduring Christ endures for us.. he is our everything. And often when the word endure or enduring is used it is used in the context of physical life not.. check it out for yourself.. I hope this makes sense?

      @@jayheinz4624 Thanks for correcting me on context. But the word endure is a verb. Meaning it is us who endure. Look at Matthew 24:9-14. It’s talking about the things that will happen before the rapture. Verse 10 says that many will fall away and hate one another. Verse 11 says that false prophets will lead many astray. The word astray means to stray away from the correct path. 1 Timothy 4:1-5 talks exactly about apostasy. The context is about some will depart from the faith. And the word depart means to leave. And you can’t leave something you were never a part of. Hebrews 6:4-6 and Hebrews 10:26 speaks similarly. Let’s look at a frequently quoted verse on this topic. Some refer to John 10:28. When Jesus talks about no one can ever snatch a believer out of Christ’s hand. But can they jump? This verse speaks only of someone else taking away your salvation (which is impossible). Not yourself walking away from the foot of the cross.

      @@andrewdescant4996 okay but let's look at those verses in Hebrews,, I believe the context is speaking to those Jews that were not saved yet and are thinking about going back to their old ways of the law.. using a lot of justify themselves and their practices of the law.. and on the last part I would say you have to look at who you are in Christ,, you are new,, you have a new heart,,your sins are forgiven as far as from the East to the West,,you are new creation,, and you are sealed until the day of redemption.. you can jump so to speak and slip into carnality or Walk In the flesh for periods of time but you're still a believer in Christ.. you're still justified Romans 5:1,,God has accounted Christ's righteousness to you,, you have the Holy Spirit In You.. again ,sealed forever.. good news!

      @@thegoodnewschannelsavedfor3504 Justified by faith. Faith is your doing, God can strengthen your faith, but at the end of the day, you’re in control of your faith. So, you can stop believing. It’s your choice. The context of Hebrews 6:4-6 starts on Hebrews 5:11. It’s called “warnings against apostasy.” Apostasy means to leave your faith. You can’t leave something you were never a part of. So Paul was speaking to believers.

    Yes if we continue believing in the gospel, which is if we continue believing that Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins, and that he was buried and God raised him from the dead, and long as we keep remembering that we will be saved. Those who stray away from that truth is not saved.

    Hebrews 10 was talking about animal sacrifice, when he's writing about sinning willfully, after receiving the knowledge of the truth, he's not talking about going around and breaking in people's homes and stealing their TV, but I'm not saying that you should though, but he's talking about not accepting Jesus's sacrifice on the cross, and God raised him from the dead. And going out and giving burnt animal sacrifices.

      Hebrews 10 is saying clearly that sins are no longer being atoned for through the blood of lambs, but now repentance of sin is required.

    There are so many, bu one of my favorite verses that prove OSAS is wrong is 1 Corinthians 15:2 "By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain." To maintain our salvation, we need to keep believing that Jesus is our Savior. God bless.

      @Liberating Theology Thanks for the comment, dear brother. However, OSAS is, as I previosuly pointed out, wrong. We can't put all people in the same sack; it's not just you were either saved o you were not to begin with. I understand your position; I'm not trying to change your view. Anyway, if one is firm in the faith, there's nothing really to worry about; this shouldn't drive anyone crazy as it did you, as you stated towards at the end of your comment. Apostasy, though, is a real possibility for those brethren who eventually walk away from the faith. No one loses their salvation overnight; that's just ridiculous. Apostasy is the last stage for someone who hasn't been in communion with the Lord for quite some time. There have been brethren who renounced their faith in Jesus Christ, saying things like "I believe in Jesus no more." or "The Bible is just a fairy tale." or "Jesus was just a good teacher, but he is not the Savior." etc. These people have abandoned their initial salvific faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. If you don't accept this, then you have an erronenous definition of the word apostasy. What is apostasy for you, dear brother? Is it just walking away from a Christian community or congregation but were never really saved? Well, that's very Calvinistic. God bless.

There are those who were never saved; there are those who are saved and eventually get the promise of eternal life; and there are those who were saved but then apostatized. God bless.

      @Liberating Theology I used to believe in the false doctrine of Once Saved Always Saved (OSAS) which deceives people by making them think that all they have to do to be saved is believe in Jesus yet they can still live in their sins. God led me to the truth and convicted me of sins. Jesus said the way that leads to life is narrow and difficult and FEW will find it (Matt. 7:14). Only believing is a broad easy way that leads to destruction.
      Obedience is required to receive eternal life according to Jesus-> Jesus said, “He who believes in the Son/Jesus has eternal life, but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him” (John 3:36).
      Jesus “became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him” (Heb. 5:9). We are “justified by works and not by faith alone” (James 2:24). Jesus said “I am He who searches the minds and hearts; and I will give to each one of you according to your deeds” (Rev. 2:23).
      Obedience is important. You can’t cherry pick scriptures. Please seek the scriptures for yourself and ask the Father to reveal the truth to you.
      We show our love towards God by keeping His commandments (John 14:15). Love is a verb. It is through our actions that we show our love to God. “Let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth” (1 John 3:18).
      The Holy Spirit is given to those who OBEY God (Acts 5:32).
      Jesus says we will be given the Holy Spirit after we show our love for Him by keeping His commandments -> “If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray to the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever” (John 14:15-16). The Helper is the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, who will teach you all things and guide you into all the truth (John 16:13). The Holy Spirit will convict you of sin and correct you. “Those whom the Lord loves He disciplines” (Heb. 12:6).
      We will never be perfect while we are still in our flesh but His Holy Spirit helps us to sin less and practice righteousness. “The one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous; the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning” (1 John 3:7).
      “Whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight” (1 John 3:22).
      Jesus promised He would keep His faithful people from the ‘Hour of Testing’ because they have kept His commands (Rev. 3:10).
      “If you wish to enter into life, keep the commandments” (Matt. 19:17).
      “For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome” (1 John 5:3).
      *** Jesus said the great and first Commandment is to LOVE God with all your heart, soul and mind and the second is to love others as yourself (Mat. 22:36-39). Upon these two commandments hang the whole Law (Mat. 22:40), meaning that all 10 commandments are based on those 2 commandments.
      ** The 10 Commandments: 1) Do not put anything ahead of God. 2) Do not make or worship idols. 3) Do not take the name of God in vain. 4) Keep the Sabbath holy and do not work on the Sabbath in honor of God (the true Sabbath is Saturday). 5) Honor your father and mother. 6) Do not commit murder. (Jesus said if you hate anyone you commit murder in your heart). 7) Do not commit adultery. (Jesus said if you look with lust on anyone you commit adultery in your heart). 8) Do not steal. 9) Do not tell lies against anyone. 10) Do not covet other people's possessions.
      - If you are left behind after the Rapture, you may have an idol. Having an idol means loving anything more than God. Idols can be persons, places or things. God hates idols and wants to be #1 your heart. If you seek God first, He will take care of all your needs (Mat. 6:33).
      - Having unforgiveness in your heart is another reason you could be left behind. “If you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions” (Mat. 6:15). Ask God to help you forgive others, He was the only way I was able to be able to forgive certain people. Jesus is our greatest example because while he was being tortured and killed, He forgave them. “Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you” (Mat. 5:44).
      ** Jesus said that not all who say to him “Lord, Lord will enter the kingdom of heaven. Only those who DO the Will of the father” MANY will say to him on that day “Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons and in Your name perform many miracles?” And he will say to them “I never knew you, leave Me, you who practice lawlessness” (Matt. 7:21-23). “Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and SIN IS LAWLESSNESS” (1 John 3:4).
      -> Who are the people that Jesus will say this to on judgement day?? Believers who practice lawlessness/SIN.
      ** We can lose our salvation. Even while Jesus was here on earth, some of His disciples walked away and stopped following Him (John 6:66). It says that they are disciples! Which means they obviously believed and followed Him but stopped following Him.
      ** Read the the parable of the sower in Mark 4 & Matthew 13 to see that we can fall away due to things like persecution, worries or worldly desires.
      Jesus said, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and FOLLOW ME.”
      Jesus tells us to repent (Mat. 4:17). Repentance is an honest, regretful acknowledgement of your sins with commitment to change. “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us of our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9). “If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God” (Heb. 10:26-31).

      @@Yahshuaismyeverything Jesus said we must endure to the end to be saved (Matthew 10:22). None of us has endured to the end. Conclusion:
      We're not saved. And we won't be until we receive the gift of eternal life at Jesus' return. Only then will we have eternal security.
      Meanwhile in the mortal life we may enter *justification* with God . . . and we can fall away from justification. We have many warnings not to let that happen.
      The apostle Paul wrote that we have "the hope of salvation":
      ■ "But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
      For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ" (Paul, in 1 Thessalonians 5:8,9; also Peter in Acts 15:11).
      We'll be saved - from ever perishing in death - when we receive the promised gift of eternal life at Jesus' "revelation" -His return:
      ■ "And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life" (1 John 2:25).
      ■ "Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;" (1 Peter 1:13; also 1 Corinthians 15:50-54 and 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17)
      Did Paul teach OSAS? Of course not. Paul had the holy spirit. And he understood that even after preaching to others, he could possibly return to a life of sin and therefore be rejected, a "castaway":
      ■ "But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway." (1 Corinthians 9:27)
      Take home: In this mortal life we may enter *_justification_* with God . . . and while we remain in justification we are "in His goodness" (Rom 11:22) or grace, and we have that "hope of salvation." But we can fall away from justification and return to condemnation, no longer "in His goodness" and forfeiting that "hope of salvation."
      So, who is in justification, not under condemnation? Those who are abiding in Jesus in repentance, following (not ignoring) the holy spirit:
      ■ "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." (Romans 8:1)
      Note the IFs:
      ■ "For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
      For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God." (Romans 8:13,14)
      And note the warnings:
      ■ "If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:" (2 Timothy 2:12)
      ■ "If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned." (Jesus, in John 15:6)
      ■ "For if God spared not the natural branches [the Israelites], take heed lest he also spare not thee.
      Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off." (Romans 11:21,22)
      ■ "Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it." (Hebrews 4:1)

      Tanisha, great verse, that's right!! And do you know that in most translations there's a period after that first part of the verse?! There is now no more condemnation for those in Christ Jesus..!. There was a certain scribe that interpreted it in translation to put a comma after that.. check out Andrew Farley's explanation sometime.. he's a doctorate in linguistics and theology..

      Amen Tanisha! The OSAS doctrine is one that has been arrived at based on inalterable presumptions derived from a gospel which is fundamentally flawed at its core. Because very few are willing or able to look deep at the root cause, we end up throwing verses back and forth in a proverbial food fight with similar results. Here's the real issue: The notion that justification is a one time declaration which in an instant guarantees salvation, that we remain unrighteous and continually mired in sin, and that Christ's righteousness is the only basis by which we will now be judged are some of the errors which have spawned the false OSAS catastrophe. All of these things are provably false for anyone who relies on the Scriptures under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.       Your 'easy grace' - nothing required - is rank heresy. Have you not read that Jesus is
      ■ "the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him" (Hebrews 5:9) ???
      Who gets the grace?
      *Believers* . . . Those who - like Abraham - act on their faith and obey God. Otherwise their faith is DEAD.
      What are we commanded to do?
      ■ "And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent" (Acts 17:30)
      Follow directions, and we'll receive His promised mercy:
      ■ "He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy." (Proverbs 28:13)
      Follow directions, and our past sins will be blotted out:
      ■ "Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord" (Acts 3:19, NKJV).
      Follow directions, and we'll enter "the presence of the Lord": we'll receive the gift of the holy spirit, given "to them that obey Him" and "repent":
      ■ "And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him." (Acts 5:32)
      ■ "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." (Acts 2:38)
      But if we choose not to follow directions, what happens? We'll receive no mercy and no redemption. We'll perish, paying our own death penalty for sin. That's why Jesus warned:
      ■ "except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish." (Jesus, in Luke 13:5)
      Peter makes it clear: come to repentance, or else perish:
      ■ "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." (2 Peter 3:9)
      Why does repentance matter? Jesus is the potter, we are the clay. He is creating men and women fit to be the Father's eternal sons and daughters. Unless we are workable - in repentance - He cannot work with us. Jesus says:
      ■ "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent." (Jesus, in Revelation 3:19)
      Did Jesus tell His disciples to preach "faith alone" or "just trust Jesus"?
      No: Jesus told His disciples to preach "repentance and remission of sins":
      ■ "Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
      And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
      And that *repentance and remission of sins* should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem." (Luke 24:45-47)
      Unfortunately there are many preaching "faith alone" instead. Beware of them, because their "faith alone," "just trust Jesus" message is a sly, sneaky way of saying neither obedience nor repentance are required.

    Part 7 you cannot keep yourselves ation by your works if I have to keep from sinning in order to get saved or to keep saved what I can do is boast in front of God telling God look at me I can keep my salvation by my Works which is exactly what you're doing you think you can keep your salvation by living in acting a good way well if you can keep your salvation by your own physical hands then Christ has died in vain you think you can keep it. In the Book of James the reason why Peters group is ordered to endure and to keep the faith is because they have to endure the tribulation we as the body of Christ aren't going through the tribulation our Salvation is in the heavens we are not promised the Earth as the body of Christ

    Case in point:
    Luke 14:26-33
    26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
    27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.
    28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?
    29 Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him,
    30 Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.
    31 Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand?
    32 Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace.
    33 So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.
    You will endure hardships, especially in those days where being Christian persecution was more harsh and prevalent. You all mix the two. Not all believers will be disciples and not all disciples will be believers. Rightfully divide and pay attention to the meaning of words and there different usage. Disciple is simply one who follows after another as their apprentice. Just like salvation is the process of being removed from a harm or threat. Doesn't always refer to spiritual salvation.
    Do not turn a blind eye to these facts. Collin and a lot of those who follow his channel will NOT wrestle and reconcile these facts yet they believe they have the truth.

      I used to believe in the false doctrine of Once Saved Always Saved (OSAS) which deceives people by making them think that all they have to do to be saved is believe in Jesus yet they can still live in their sins. God led me to the truth and convicted me of sins. Jesus said the way that leads to life is narrow and difficult and FEW will find it (Matt. 7:14). Only believing is a broad easy way that leads to destruction.
      Obedience is required to receive eternal life according to Jesus-> Jesus said, “He who believes in the Son/Jesus has eternal life, but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him” (John 3:36).
      Jesus “became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him” (Heb. 5:9). We are “justified by works and not by faith alone” (James 2:24). Jesus said “I am He who searches the minds and hearts; and I will give to each one of you according to your deeds” (Rev. 2:23).
      Obedience is important. You can’t cherry pick scriptures. Please seek the scriptures for yourself and ask the Father to reveal the truth to you.
      We show our love towards God by keeping His commandments (John 14:15). Love is a verb. It is through our actions that we show our love to God. “Let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth” (1 John 3:18).
      The Holy Spirit is given to those who OBEY God (Acts 5:32).
      Jesus says we will be given the Holy Spirit after we show our love for Him by keeping His commandments -> “If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray to the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever” (John 14:15-16). The Helper is the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, who will teach you all things and guide you into all the truth (John 16:13). The Holy Spirit will convict you of sin and correct you. “Those whom the Lord loves He disciplines” (Heb. 12:6).
      We will never be perfect while we are still in our flesh but His Holy Spirit helps us to sin less and practice righteousness. “The one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous; the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning” (1 John 3:7).
      “Whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight” (1 John 3:22).
      Jesus promised He would keep His faithful people from the ‘Hour of Testing’ because they have kept His commands (Rev. 3:10).
      “If you wish to enter into life, keep the commandments” (Matt. 19:17).
      “For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome” (1 John 5:3).
      *** Jesus said the great and first Commandment is to LOVE God with all your heart, soul and mind and the second is to love others as yourself (Mat. 22:36-39). Upon these two commandments hang the whole Law (Mat. 22:40), meaning that all 10 commandments are based on those 2 commandments.
      ** The 10 Commandments: 1) Do not put anything ahead of God. 2) Do not make or worship idols. 3) Do not take the name of God in vain. 4) Keep the Sabbath holy and do not work on the Sabbath in honor of God (the true Sabbath is Saturday). 5) Honor your father and mother. 6) Do not commit murder. (Jesus said if you hate anyone you commit murder in your heart). 7) Do not commit adultery. (Jesus said if you look with lust on anyone you commit adultery in your heart). 8) Do not steal. 9) Do not tell lies against anyone. 10) Do not covet other people's possessions.
      - If you are left behind after the Rapture, you may have an idol. Having an idol means loving anything more than God. Idols can be persons, places or things. God hates idols and wants to be #1 your heart. If you seek God first, He will take care of all your needs (Mat. 6:33).
      - Having unforgiveness in your heart is another reason you could be left behind. “If you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions” (Mat. 6:15). Ask God to help you forgive others, He was the only way I was able to be able to forgive certain people. Jesus is our greatest example because while he was being tortured and killed, He forgave them. “Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you” (Mat. 5:44).
      ** Jesus said that not all who say to him “Lord, Lord will enter the kingdom of heaven. Only those who DO the Will of the father” MANY will say to him on that day “Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons and in Your name perform many miracles?” And he will say to them “I never knew you, leave Me, you who practice lawlessness” (Matt. 7:21-23). “Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and SIN IS LAWLESSNESS” (1 John 3:4).
      -> Who are the people that Jesus will say this to on judgement day?? Believers who practice lawlessness/SIN.
      ** We can lose our salvation. Even while Jesus was here on earth, some of His disciples walked away and stopped following Him (John 6:66). It says that they are disciples! Which means they obviously believed and followed Him but stopped following Him.
      ** Read the the parable of the sower in Mark 4 & Matthew 13 to see that we can fall away due to things like persecution, worries or worldly desires.
      Jesus said, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and FOLLOW ME.”
      Jesus tells us to repent (Mat. 4:17). Repentance is an honest, regretful acknowledgement of your sins with commitment to change. “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us of our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9). “If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God” (Heb. 10:26-31).

    The biggest flaw in the thinking of the enemies of Eternal Security is that they fail to realize just how sinful they are themselves. Their own pride and arrogance blind them. They hypocritically condemn other believers who live in unrepentant sin or backslide, failing to realize that they're just as sinful in God's eyes. If salvation can be lost, then who is righteous enough to keep their own salvation? Only a self-righteous hypocrite would claim to be sinless, holly and righteous enough to please God and earn their place in Glory. The Word of God in the Old Testament puts them to shame...
    Isaiah 64:6, “But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.”
    As for me I am a filthy rotten sinner deserving the pits of Hell and the ONLY righteousness I have is the Imputed Righteousness of Jesus Christ:
    “And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness. Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was IMPUTED to him; But for us also, to whom it shall be IMPUTED, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead” (Romans 4:22-24).

    In other words, believers names can and will be erased from the book. Apparently those early believers did not believe that they could lose their salvation either, and Jesus spoke in a special revealation to sinners? No to believers, to us.

      @Julie Garcia Content must be read in Context. Jesus is rebuking them. He says that if they do not repent, He will erase their name from the book of life. You can not erase or blot something out unless it is already written down.
      These are not suggestions or recommendations. Jesus is warning us. I don't think you commit a sin and then oops your are no longer saved. We have no way of knowing when a person has walked away from their salvation, only God knows that.
      But we would do well to believe what Jesus is saying to us, no matter how much it goes against what we have been taught. We have to take the whole counsel of the Word.

      I think your premise that belief is repentance is not borne out in scripture. The biblical definition of repentance is to turn away from sin.
      James says that the demons believe and tremble. Remeber faith without works is dead.
      When we read scripture we have to be open to have our theology challenged by the Word.
      Many people believe in Jesus, but to many He will say depart from me I never knew you, you workers of inquity.

I'm sealed by God the Holy Spirit and God's seed remains in me and I cannot sin! Therefore I cannot depart from the faith, therefore I shall endure till the end and all this depends on God's work in me and not upon anything I do or do not do and God's statement that I cannot sin!!

    Thanks for the list. I think that the following two texts are proof-texts that we can lose our salvation.
    John 15 teaches that we can lose our salvation, especially the verse 2: "Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit." Is not a branch in Christ a person who did abide in Christ, but was taken away because the lack of the fruit? How can you be in Christ, but not be saved? Therefore, John 15:2 teaches that a person who did abide in Christ (i.e., saved person) can be taken away, i.e., lose salvation.
    Romans 11 teaches that we can lose our salvation, especially verses 21-22. "For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in [his] goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off" (Romans 11:21-22 KJV).

I have gone to popular Calvinist websites to see how they get around the clear reading of John 15 and it’s almost like they literally don’t know what to do and just try to talk a lot and hope people will overlook it. It’s co clear the branch was in Jesus and we are the branches. They said, well we just shouldn’t press the issue too much and look to deeply into Jesus’ words because we know you can’t lose salvation from other scriptures. It’s very frustration. I’m trying to dispel the lies about this doctrine on my channel one by one. God bless you.

Because very few are willing or able to look deep at the root cause, we end up throwing verses back and forth in a proverbial food fight with similar results. Here's the real issue: The notion that justification is a one time declaration which in an instant guarantees salvation, that we remain unrighteous and continually mired in sin, and that Christ's righteousness is the only basis by which we will now be judged are some of the errors which have spawned the false OSAS catastrophe. All of these things are provably false for anyone who relies on the Scriptures under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.       There are Scriptures that tell us we can lose our salvation
      If the analysis of Jesus' words in the couplet above is correct, then there can be no Scriptures to tell us we lose our salvation because the Bible does not contradict itself. If someone still maintains that salvation can be lost, then he must address what Christ says in John 8:29 and John 6:39. Nevertheless, the Bible must be understood as a whole; and if we have a set of verses on the subject of eternal security and one set of Scriptures can only be interpreted in one way and other Scriptures can be interpreted in different ways, then the latter must be interpreted in a manner consistent with the former. Otherwise, we are setting Scripture against Scripture.

      @DBA E.... When you fail... repent ... God will pick you back up. Ask God to help you in the areas you are failing in. No one is perfect but as long as we have a humble repentant heart then God knows we are trying. If you fail... then repent every time. You might ask in what areas are you failing ... and reflect on it.

      I will give you some Bible verses. God is the only one who knows you heart. Read Romans 10:9. Confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord confess your sins and ask for forgiveness believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross to save you for from your sins now and for eternity. If you still wonder whether or not you are saved ask the holy spirit to guide you and study the word of God on both sides take both sides of the consideration and see where God leads you. I lived a terrible life I was saved at 5 years old and I love Jesus with trials and tribulations came my way I went the exact opposite way but in my heart I still felt convicted and I still felt pulled to God until finally I had to answer the pool back to God. People fall away people sinned and there are times that we turn away it doesn't mean that we are unsaved it means that we are human and we all fall short of the glory of God but God is always there to welcome us back. When you read in the Old Testament when he talks about the Israelites how many times they send against him how many times they cursed God and some of them yes were destroyed because they went too far but many of them were also redeemed over and over and over again and it doesn't give us a license to sin but we do send and the difference is when you're saved you feel convicted about your sin. To me with how you feel what you just said it sounds to me like you're saved and that your heart is aching because you have sinned that is a real indication that you are saved and that you want to serve God. In that case what I would suggest you do is you pray to God ask the Holy Spirit to fill you study your Bible put on the whole armor of God and read about that too because that is very important put on the whole armor of God and deny your sin. You're still going to slip up every once in awhile but knowing that you are with Christ and that Christ forgives you and he does not condemn you and all he wants you to do is come to him and try to be better than you were before that is the amazing gift that Christ gives to us keep Faith sweetheart you're on the right track if you need anything let me know I'm more than happy to share my knowledge and the Bible with you and I always suggest that you test everything against the word of God and you always ask the holy spirit for discernment truth and wisdom.       Here are channels for you. True godly teachings. mike winter ( he has a live Q and A on Friday) pastors perspective ( radio station taking live questions and you tube videos). Ravi zakerius, nabeel kureshi ( the last two have passed away but have a lot of on line content.) but these videos are false and no one can live a sinless life. Only Jesus can. This does not mean you can just go on sinning, it does mean repenting and turning from sin, but you will still sin because we all do. But if you believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord, that God sent him to earth to die for your sins an that he rose again and now lives in heaven as and with God. If you repent (truly repent, meaning you really know you are a sinner and need the grace of Jesus) then you are saved. There will be a change in your life, an immediate change but there is still a life long walk, growing and changing in Christ. (Maturing)

      Amen. Johan. Pastor Ben does an excellent job laying out verse after verse supporting the gospel by which we must be saved. The problem, I would submit, lies much deeper though. Those who hold to OSAS have a patented response to all of these examples. They also hold to their own set of verses which they believe supports their position. If anyone is truly interested in finding the truth, he has to begin with the flawed foundation of the greater conservative evangelical gospel represented by the likes of MacArthur, Piper, Mohler, Grudem, Stanley, Begg and many others. Because they misinterpret what true faith entails, what true grace is and what it does, and thereby, what justification itself is, their gospel is so skewed, it leads to the devastating conclusion that to whom so much has been given, nothing could ever be expected pertaining to salvation.       In fact the very idea that we're already "saved" - done deal - is incorrect. Jesus said we must endure to the end to be saved (Matthew 10:22).
      The apostle Paul wrote that we have "the hope of salvation":
      ■ "But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
      For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ" (Paul, in 1 Thessalonians 5:8,9; also Peter in Acts 15:11).
      We'll be saved - from ever perishing in death - when we receive the promised gift of eternal life at Jesus' "revelation" -His return:
      ■ "And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life" (1 John 2:25).
      ■ "Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;" (1 Peter 1:13; also 1 Corinthians 15:50-54 and 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17)
      Did Paul teach OSAS? Of course not. Paul had the holy spirit. And he understood that even after preaching to others, he could possibly return to a life of sin and therefore be rejected, a "castaway":
      ■ "But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway." (1 Corinthians 9:27)
      Take home: In this mortal life we may enter *_justification_* with God . . . and while we remain in justification we are "in His goodness" (Rom 11:22) or grace, and we have that "hope of salvation." But we can fall away from justification and return to condemnation, no longer "in His goodness" and forfeiting that "hope of salvation."
      So, who is in justification, not under condemnation? Those who are abiding in Jesus in repentance, following (not ignoring) the holy spirit:
      ■ "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." (Romans 8:1)
      Note the IFs:
      ■ "For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
      For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God." (Romans 8:13,14)

      Shaun sadly does not understand repentance and working out your salvation, and that these are both part of faith and following Christ. He believes that faith is a one shot deal and that freedom in Christ means that you can continue living worldly and not keep the faith. No denying self, no taking up the cross, no following Christ by his example, no sacrifice of fleshly desires, and no endurance until the end. Just the faithless approach that Jesus died on the cross for them to remain a part of the world. OSAS tramples the blood of Christ underfoot.

    What must we do to maintain our salvation? if a person says he stays saved by remaining faithful and or being obedient to God, then isn't he saying that he is maintaining his salvation by being good? It is a good thing to be faithful to God. It is a good thing to obey God. But is this how we are saved or stay saved? Does our salvation rest in any way on how good we are?
    For me, this is dangerously close to works righteousness. If we have to maintain our salvation that would mean salvation has something to do with us, with how good, faithful, obedient we are, we are contradicting Ephesians.
    8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that NOT OF YOURSELVES: it is the gift of God: 9 NOT OF WORKS, lest any man should boast. (‭Ephesians‬ ‭2‬:‭8-9‬ KJV)

    Notice how Jesus says that a characteristic of those who are saved is that they follow him.

    The ones who do the will of the father are saved. Works don't save. Rather, it's a characteristic of those who are saved.

      Indeed! The OSAS doctrine is one that has been arrived at based on inalterable presumptions derived from a gospel which is fundamentally flawed at its core. Because very few are willing or able to look deep at the root cause, we end up throwing verses back and forth in a proverbial food fight with similar results. Here's the real issue: The notion that justification is a one time declaration which in an instant guarantees salvation, that we remain unrighteous and continually mired in sin, and that Christ's righteousness is the only basis by which we will now be judged are some of the errors which have spawned the false OSAS catastrophe. All of these things are provably false for anyone who relies on the Scriptures under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.       What are we told to do?
      ■ "And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent" (Acts 17:30)
      Follow directions, and we'll receive His promised mercy:

      How did Nineveh receive God's mercy? They changed their mind about continuing in sin. They "turned from their evil way" and turned to do God's will.
      ■ "And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not." (Jonah 3:10)
      Here's what Jesus had to say about Nineveh. Note this: He used "repentance" in reference to turning from sin:
      ■ "The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they *repented* at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here." (Jesus, in Matthew 12:41)
      *_Through_* faith (Eph 2:8) we see the need to "come to God" (Hebrews 11:6) on His terms. If we come to God as instructed, we'll enter His promised mercy.
      We'll have "remission of sins that are past" (Romasn 3:25). We'll be "purged" of our "old sins" (2 Peter 1:9). The old sins will be "blotted out":
      ■ "Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord" (Acts 3:19, NKJV).
      And *_how_* do we enter "the presence of the Lord"? By receiving the holy spirit, given *_"to them that obey Him"_* and *_"repent":_*
      ■ "And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him." (Acts 5:32)

      I wouldn't be a *believer* unless I obeyed and chose to come to God confessing and forsaking sin. Only *_through_* faith that God exists and rewards would I ever see the need to "come to God" and please Him. Without faith, it would be impossible for me to choose to come to God:
      ■ "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." (Hebrews 11:6)
      It's *_coming to God_* on His terms that pleases Him, and for which we receive His promised mercy . . . "faith only" is not enough. Faith is given to us to call us (Eph 2:8). Question is, will we answer the call and come to God on His terms?

      . And in the book of Hebrews Paul talks about how we are already resting in Christ. Also we have been given a new heart where Christ lives see you Romans and Hebrews about that.. and we are New creations in Christ Jesus and sealed until the day of redemption and nothing un seals us.. this is the good news!

      KJV 2Chronicles 15:2 : …the Lord is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you. It says the same thing in 1Chron. 28:9. Revelation 3:16…Jesus says that if you become Lukewarm that he will spit you out of his mouth(his body). You had to have been in his body at one time or how could he spit you out!

    There are so many Scripture passages that do infact suggest you can be regenerated and then fall away. The Bible, however, also clearly teaches that God’s elect will endure to the end.     This video demonstrates misunderstanding about how salvation works. Salvation is by grace through faith in Christ and Christ alone, not by works. It would not make a lot of sense if we had to keep it by works. Additionally, Christ made several promises in John about how eternal life cannot be lost. If that's not enough, In Roman 8:30 says "whom He justified, these He also glorified".
    As to answers for these passages:
    10. The word for "soul" can refer to physical life (eg. Matt 10:39)
    9. There is something lost in translation here: "Ye continue in the faith grounded and settled" is something that is assumed true. The intent here is not a condition. This would actually support Calvinism, but there is another possibility that "ye" refers to the church, which would eliminate that from the question as well.
    8. Context - next verse indicates this is about the tribulation period. This, and Matthew 24:13, are talking about the end of the tribulation and has nothing to do with eternal salvation.
    7. False analogy - Jesus only died for human beings, not angels.
    6. So what? Says nothing about what happens to those who depart from the faith. This seems to be more of an argument against Calvinism. Calvinists are not the only ones who believe in OSAS. Free grace teaches that too.
    5. Context is dealing specifically with reverting back to Judaism, not just general sins. The usual response is that this passage (and Heb. 6:4-6) has to deal with rewards and not salvation.
    4. Two natures, see Romans 7:17-20.
    3. Again "soul" can refer to physical life (this time see Judges 9:17). Some translations don't even use the word "soul" here. Additionally, if this refers to eternal salvation, it would imply that a person saves himself which contradicts the rest of the bible.
    1.2. These are probably the most problematic one here. The explanations I can find says that this is about discipleship and fellowship.

      Regarding Ezekiel 33, I have not read the context, but that seems to be referring to physical death.
      I'm not going to keep discussing that point from 1 Tim because that's a logical issue rather than an interpretation issue.

    People, never listen to someone who takes bits of Bible and make a doctrine out of it. He is wrong. He doesn't see the whole picture. I'm not saying that you can sin. But if you do(as I know all of you and me will) there is a saviour Jesus Christ who is our advocate. Read letters of Paul to churches full of sinners and see if he said"that's it no more repentance for you". And the last verse doesn't say anything about loosing salvation. You see God as a human judge who looks at us like you do. Don't you think he's more than all of us can possibly imagine?

      @@PONCE8ful that's the problem, understanding what someone means. We all take bits and pieces, wherever not going to literally quote all verses of all 66 canonical books. What I believe Mark is saying is how one can form a doctrine off of one or a few verses that speaks to one point without it being able to fit with other potential contradictory angles.
      Faith alone believers can answer questions biblically while work based believers get to a point where they avoid the topic at hand and refuse to reconcile certain points made.

      You are absolutely correct in principle. So here is a channel which will lay out these things in a methodical manner backed by Scripture. Pastor Ben does an excellent job laying out verse after verse supporting the gospel by which we must be saved. The problem, I would submit, lies much deeper though. Those who hold to OSAS have a patented response to all of these examples. They also hold to their own set of verses which they believe supports their position. If anyone is truly interested in finding the truth, he has to begin with the flawed foundation of the greater conservative evangelical gospel represented by the likes of MacArthur, Piper, Mohler, Grudem, Stanley, Begg and many others. Because they misinterpret what true faith entails, what true grace is and what it does, and thereby, what justification itself is, their gospel is so skewed, it leads to the devastating conclusion that to whom so much has been given, nothing could ever be expected pertaining to salvation.       From my experiences with work-based salvationists, people will just refuse to answer arguments, and always omit context. When they get caught in the act, they just jump like bunnies from book to book until their adversary is bored of them never answering anything .. it has been easily 95% of my encounters with them for the past years. you can hardly get any logic out of them.

    After all, only fools believe that "THE SINNERS PRAYER" will save them.

      One of the reasons they don't preach repentance is because most people don't want to hear about it. What did Jesus tell His disciples to preach?
      Did He tell them to preach "faith alone" or "just trust Jesus"? No:
      ■ "Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
      And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
      And that *repentance and remission of sins* should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem." (Luke 24:45-47)

      While we abide in Jesus in repentance, following the holy spirit, Jesus is our advocate with the Father, and covers - present tense - any new sins by His blood:
      ■ "My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father,
      Jesus Christ the righteous" (1 John 2:1)
      ■ "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his
      Son cleanseth us from all sin." (1 John 1:7 . . . "IF we walk in the light")
      ■ "Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of
      good works." (Titus 2:14)

    To me, Paul makes it very clear about this issue in Galatians and Corinthians. Why would he say "will not inherit the kingdom of God" if your salvation is a guarantee?

      Revelation 21:7-8 KJV - He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
      Inheritance of the kingdom is the opposite of "shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone".
      Also John says this is not only for unbelievers since the unbelieving are listed too. You can believe in Christ's resurrection and still go to hell if you live in sin.

If you truly are a believer in christ, you will show it by how you live your life taking up your cross each day. You will repent and when you sin, you will feel guilty about it and want to bring it to christ. we were chosen by god beforehand as ephesians 2:10 states, to do good works. He knows who will choose him already and within the dimension of time, we have the choice to do so which is our free will. Regarding what you're saying about my "doctrine of demons", you are still going to sin as a believer since you arent perfect but its about picking up your cross each day as i said earlier. We have the holy spirit but we arent god, we are going to sin and to say we wont is a lie in itself.

      I thought that "With God all things are possible" except stopping to sin I guess.
      See what 1 John 2:1 states.
      "My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And *IF* any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:"
      This is an IF statement, it doesnt say that we WILL 100% sin, but IF we sin we have an advocate with God.
      Every time I've heard someone saying that Paul means "rewards in heaven" instead eternal life in these letter, he is preaching OSAS and a gospel of lawlessness.

      Here the author of Hebrews is making the point that it’s impossible to come back to Christ if you fall away.
      “In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,”
      ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1:13‬
      You’re sealed with the holy spirit, it says nothing about god taking it away from you, you either truly have it or you don’t and scripture interpreting scripture, this is saying that Hebrews 6:4-6 is a hypothetical because you won’t fall away if you’re truly a believer.
      OSAS doesn’t mean lawlessness, that’s this category all OSAS are put in like hyper grace and I don’t believe in hyper grace. But you can’t lose your salvation if god chose you before hand, Ephesians 2:10, and it’s impossible to regain it if you were to hypothetically lose it anyway with the scripture above. If you still disagree I’ll agree to disagree and do as Matthew 10:14 says, dust off your feet and move on.

To me it is clear that unless a person repents of these sins, and puts on the new man, then they shall not inherit the kingdom of heaven.

    Now this is the beginning of part 2. In Luke 13 7 through 9 God gave the nation of Israel a one-year extension of Mercy this started at the Feast of Pentecost and it ended with the stoning of Stephen in Acts 11 verse 19

    The new covenant is not a one sided covenant! It is an agreement between two parties, God and mankind! God is not required to keep his part, if we do not keep our part!       Well they would argue that the verse there say to work your salvation OUT and not work FOR your salvation. But yeah I agree it makes no sense. I remember when I was in a Baptist church they went over this verse and tried to tell us this verse didn’t mean what you think it means. See, they are always telling you not to take verses like these too literally. Instead you have to take THEIR interpretation of it and leave it at that. I’m trying to dispel the lies on my channel one by one, but I’m finding out it’s a long tangled web of lies they have woven. Have a great night.

    To one reality ...... you mention in one of your videos you are open to sabbath ideas, well, sin is transgression of the law I would say not keeping the sabbath transgresses the law.. Jesus said it was lawful to do well on the Sabbath, I’d be asking how do you do well if you don’t keep the sabbath.

The tanakh nowhere says gentiles must keep the sinai law. Any rabbi would teach u the same. Its a fallacy of the church that gentiles must keep sthe sinai law. Its all based on a misunderstanding anf lacking to know the basic principles. Acts 15 and acts 21 explicitly detail the debate amidst the disciples n apostles as to what law jews must keep and what law gentiles must keep. Their judgment was that jews must keep the sinai law and that gentiles must keep NO SUCH THING. It says to teach a gentile to keep the sinai law is to subvert their souls. The basic principle of the whole bible, ot and nt is sinai law for jews only and all else have gentile law. Thats the bible and history with God, not the false church narrative

      @@denominationsdontsaveonlyj8896 in the tanakh where God gave the sabbath as law to israel, it says explicitly that it was a SIGN and seal of the contract between the hebrews and God, when He took them out of egypt in exodus. They pleaded for release and God made a contract with conditions. If you want release you must keep this law set. And he said the sabbath was the seal on that contract. It had nothing to do with gentiles, but entirely was due to the exodus from egypt. God did not redeem the gentiles out of egypt. In factm when the sabbath rest was first instituted, it was during the exodus with the manna. No law was given yet. Later on the sabbath day command was made law by God, as a token of Him taking them out of egypt in contract. Sabbath law has no relevance to gentiles, never did and never will.

      See 2 Peter 9-11
      These are what have been blotted out
      In Romans 4 St Paul is talking about works of the law not the law itself, the circumcision of Abraham.
      We see this In verse rom 4:9-12
      we need to look at Gen 26:4-5 to understand this further
      And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;
      Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.
      Faith is not the abolishment of the Law but the upholding of it.(Rom 3:31)
      In Faith, we believe what Christ taught without which we do not have God .(2 John 9)
      it is those who obey Christ who will be saved

I appreciate your willingness to give an explanation but I feel you've misunderstood scripture. Those who believe in works based salvation fail to acknowledge that eternal is a free gift (Romans 6:23). Romans 4:4-5 tells us one can't work for what's free or else it would something that is debted to us (like a reward).
      Paul said Christ laid the foundation that no other man could lay (1 Corinthians 3:10-11) and he is the propitiation of our sins. Nowhere does the bible ever say works forgive sins. Its Christ blood that cleanses us. You could say Christ works but not man. Christ said in his blood was the new covenant. If you fail in one point of the law you're guilty of them all (James 2). Christ is made of no effect to those looking to be justified by the law. Doing works is being obedient which is works of the law. It's not restricted to the mosaic law as you all like to reduce it to. While I do believe Paul was referring to the mosaic law, ultimately he used that to show no works period will save a person.

      I think it is you who has misunderstood the scripture
      I do not know a religion that calls itself claims we do not require God free gift as payment for our sins.
      I do not think anyone suggests that works pay this price or that works can forgive sin.
      That is kind of a strawman argument
      Romans 3 and 4 are about a different yoke be used for Jews and Gentile.
      Jews thought they could make themselves right with God through works of the Law such as circumcision, animal sacrifice, cleansing rituals and dietary requirements.
      We see this in the examples given of father Abrahams Circumcision and King David’s forgiveness without animal sacrifice.
      St Paul is telling them that the must actually keep the law
      Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law. (Rom 3:31)
      We receive Faith in hearing the word of God
      So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Rom 10:17)
      I love that you referred to 1 Cor 3:11
      Let us look at what Jesus tell us his foundation is
      And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
      Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:
      He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.
      But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.
      So there is only destruction and ruin for those who do not build on a living faith a faith with works.
      Works do not save us but it is those who do them who will be saved.
      Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;
      And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; (Heb 5:8-9)
      We must endure in the until the end for this is Christ Gospel
      And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
      But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
      And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. (Matt 24:12-14)
      For those who do them are those who believe in Christ.
      Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. (John 14:12)

A believer is to live the life of obedience but it's not required to prove salvation. 1 Corinthians 5:2, 5 Paul stresses believers could meet an early demise (loss of physical life, not spiritual). I agree with romans 10:14, 17 about faith coming by hearing. You quoted Matthew 7:26 which Jesus is warning Jews not to heed the words of pharisees who rejected Christ and looked to the law for justification (Matthew 7:15-23 referenced pharisees). So when Jesus talked about works in verse 26, he was referring to believing on him (which God is referred to as the rock in other biblical passages) in that a house would be built on vs not which (justified by the law) is building a house on sand.
      Matthew 24 enduring to the end was enduring the great tribulation and be physically saved, not spiritual. And John 14 was Christ telling his apostles they would reach more people than he did after his ascension back tothe father. Nothing to do about works to save or works automatically showing your saved.
      If grace is free, there is nothing else to put with it to obtain salvation. Works can show faith but doesnt always mean you're saved. 1 Timothy 2 Paul says there in a great house there is vessels of honor and vessels of dishonor. Showing mature believers vs carnal believers.
      You quoted Hebrews 5:8-9 about jesus became the author of all those who obey him. I guess Paul wasn't saved then because in Romans 7 he talks about how he still struggles with sin. And I guess Peter wasn't saved because he sinned multiple times. And what about you? Do you ever sin? Who truly obeys Christ for Christ to be the author of their salvation? And the question is begged if you are saved and sin, does that mean you lost salvation or does it prove you were never saved to begin with?
      To obey the gospel is to believe it (2 Thessalonians 1:8)
      I'm sorry but if you have to do good works (obey) in order for Christ to be the author of your salvation per Hebrews 5:8-9 then you have a contradiction.
      1 Corinthians 3:12-15 paul says believers works will be tried by fire, and even those works that are burned up, the person will suffer loss but they will remain saved.

      It's not a good message what he's saying here!! This is a message of fear and of doubt! The gospel means good news! What good news is it if you can gain salvation eternal life and then lose it a few minutes later or a week later or many years.. what this guy is saying above is a gospel of fear and a gospel of doubt.. Jesus came to bring us freedom from all of that! I know from experience living with that mindset like you're talking about in the guy in the video is talking about because I struggled with it for 30 years!! and it's nothing but death !!it does not bring life!! Jesus said, I came to bring them life and life abundantly! Can I give unto them eternal life and they shall never perish !and never means never! Not maybe, if you don't do this and maybe if you just keep enduring or etc etc.. he did it all he payed it all and it's not an excuse to sin. I don't want to sin once we're a new creation with a new heart.

People are in different stages in their Christian journeys and simply isolating pericopes by novices does not help any one in their journey.     First one that you read in James speaks about sin in this life. Because sin as we know have consequences. When it speaks about so you can’t automatically think it’s spiritual. If I tell you, I looked in the house and no soul was found. When you read in the Bible, they speak about so it is a Times speaking about the body even when it speaks about saving it could be from destruction not from hell.

    So Collin, as well as others in the comment section of other his other videos, have admitted to sinning as a believer. So this would mean all those people, including you Collin lost your salvation the moment that happened right?

      Shaun Williams that’s right. Salvation is to be saved from sin(Matthew 1:21) if a person sins they are not saved from sin.

      27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
      28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
      Collin and others say you CAN PERISH but Christ Himself said you CAN'T EVER PERISH.

      @@RealDystopianFrog so is that what you're calling Jesus??? It was in Jesus own words that he says,," I give unto them eternal life and they shall never perish" and never means never!! In the Greek it's permanent,, never, meaning it cannot be reversed.. also you are a new creation in Christ and sealed until the day of redemption cannot be undone if you're a new creation? And you say hyper grace, but Paul said in Ephesians it is by Grace Grace that you are saved by faith and not of works!! Not of works! lest anyone boast!!.. and Jesus said on the cross to the thief today you will be with me in paradise and he said it is finished meaning he Jesus,, did it all! I'm not trying to argue with you, but please see that gospel means good news! It's about being free in Christ.. assured that you have a new spirit and a new heart given by him.. this is the gospel !the good news!

    Those that profess to know God and walk in willful disobedience, John says this is a sin leading to death.

There is sin leading to death. I do not say that he should pray about that. 17 All unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin not leading to death.
    The sin that is not confessed and turned from leads to death. The person knows it is sin but does it any ways.

Mr. Tall23 produced a video refuting about losing your salvation stating that you cant lose your salvation. This topic has divided bunches of churches and I would like to find truth.       Chad N Melissa how much time do you spend reading scripture? Do not trust anybody on UA-cam with your salvation or to be your source of truth. The word IS Christ so buy from Him the truth and don’t sell it He says. The Holy Spirit will lead you into all truth so trust in God. The question to ask yourself in your heart is not whether you live a sinless life or not but do you want to? Do you want to follow Christ/God in love and obedience or do you want to hold on to your favourite sins but still obtain salvation. Walking in disobedience. Practicing sin when you know it to be sin. Ask God to show you. James1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
      God made heaven and earth and all that is in them to have a relationship with you. You do not need someone to tell you the truth. God is just waiting to pour it out on you. If you are prepared to do the truth and your heart is right then go to genesis and start reading. He will supply all the food for your soul that you need...daily. I’m not saying that a person can’t teach, but you need to be able to know for yourself with scripture. But NO MAN is a match for the HOLY SPirit. Even the disciples that were with Christ did not understand things until He opened their minds. Take care brothers and sisters. In love.

    Part 5 people usually go to Hebrews James and Peter as well as Matthew Mark Luke and John these books are speaking to the nation of Israel Matthew Mark Luke and John is to the nation of Israel in time passed. During the time of Jesus Israel had already fallen into apostasy to the Romans. They would not come back to God willingly so God opened up a dispensation of Grace whereby anyone can be saved by grace through faith without works.

    What most who hold to the osas doctrine don’t understand, is what true saving faith is. Faith is believing. And when you truly believe what you confess you believe, you do what you confess you believe! Not obeying Gods word because you are trying to earn your way into Gods Kingdom. But obeying his commandments because you believe Gods word! Most seem to think that doing the works of faith, is keeping the law. But the true believers have Gods law written on their hearts, and it’s not keeping of a bunch of rules, that was only given to show our need for grace through Christ. You turn from doing the works of the flesh, and do works of love, (faith works by love) because you are a new creation, and your life is now about the things above, and not the things of this world! Continuing to live sinfully proves you do not believe. The Children of Israel all believed when they passed through the Red Sea on dry ground, and saw the Egyptians drown behind them! But when tried in the wilderness, they turned back to Egypt in their hearts. They were overcome in the wilderness, and could not enter in to the promised land! The Bible says they could not enter in because of unbelief! That is why Jesus said repeatedly, He that overcomes shall inherit the Kingdom! Keep preaching the truth brother! For this is the time foretold when they shall heap to themselves teachers to itch their ears, and will not put up with sound doctrine, but believe fables!

      @Sonny Bruschetta I agree, it is 100% Jesus working in those who believe! The point I am making is what believing is! Reading Gods word gives you faith, for faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Faith is believing God, but when you do not do what you confess to believe, that faith is in vain! As James said, Faith if it does not have works is dead! Are we saved by works? No! But Jesus said, if you do not bring forth fruit, your branch will wither, and be cut off the tree, and be cast in the fire! We do not work to earn our way in, we work because we are attached to the vine, who is Christ, and we produce fruit because we are being nourished from the living water of the vine! We can say we know Jesus all day long, and on that day be told I never knew you! Why? Because we did not have true saving faith! True saving faith is hearing Gods word, and doing it! But the foolish man who don’t do his word, is like a man who builds his house on the sand, and when the storms comes, that house falls! If you hear the word and don’t do the word, that is not saving faith! The devils hear his word and believe it, but they will not be saved! Jesus told us many times that he who overcomes shall enter into the kingdom. Saying we have faith, and not doing what you confess, is like saying I believe my new car will get me to work today. Yes, your can is perfectly able to get you to work. But that belief is in vain if you do not act on that belief! If you don’t open the car door, put the key in, start the car, put it in gear, and drive that car, it will not get you there! That belief is in vain! We follow Jesus by faith! And we are required to walk in the truth he has revealed to each of us, at the point we are in in our spiritual lives! A new born baby is not required to work a full time job, or do anything but be loved on, and be fed! But as that child grows and is taught wrong from right, that child is required to obey his Father! We are at all different places in our walk. And what is required of us is what the Holy Spirit has opened our eyes to. When we know to do right, and do it not, it is sin. And sin = unbelief! That is why it says, those who know to do good, and do it not, to them it is sin! We are being saved faith to faith, glory to glory! But if we choose to turn back, it is not Christ who has forsaken us, it is us who have chose to forsake his grace! Faith is what decides if we will finish our coarse and daily carry our cross, following Jesus into the promised land. And be over comers, finishing the race, by the power of God working through us because we truly believe. Looking to the author and finisher of our faith, is by walking in his true faith. And walking in his true faith, is doing what he says to do, not just saying you believe, but doing what you believe! In Christ’s Love!

      @Sonny Bruschetta I’m going to be honest with you. There’s no way I can grasp in my head you just replied this to what that person just wrote. He’s trying to feed you spiritually so you can properly walk in your faith and all you said was it’s too long? Was your post not long as well? It’s time to grow spiritually and mature. Once you were okay with spiritual milk now you move on to solid food. The branch that is pruned and produces no fruit is cut off and burned. Don’t take God’s grace for granted. Fear God and have some more respect. Don’t type out a big message and deceive yourself with lips that draw near but a heart that is far from him. Be true and humble. Learn discernment to decipher truth. And have some decency to someone who was extending kindness to you to explain spiritual maturity and actually growing in the faith. Being a doer of the word not a hearer. I say this for your benefit if you truly are a sister in Christ.

They stated what the Bible says. Be careful thinking your doing his work and your actually being deceived by the enemy into working against God.       @@ronchatex797 God is also the Righteous Eternal Judge of all creation and the context of the passage that you quoted makes it clear that he has a clear cut off line for all of us, whether or not we are in the process of being ultimately adopted by Him.
      Also, your logic makes no sense, because angels are referred to as God's sons & yet those of them that rebel will end up in hell.

      Who was the Bible referring to as sons of God in the book of job (Job 1:6 & 2:1)? They clearly weren't humans because humans haven't received adoption at they time.
      Also, the Lord said that humans who'll be resurrected will be equal to the angels. It would be strange if we are to be considered children of God, yet equal to beings that are less than children, if they aren't children too.
      So, logic tells you that angels are as much servants of God, as they are children of God! Just like apostle Paul was a bond servant of Jesus Christ, yet an adopted child of God.
      You clearly need to read & understand your Bible better! And stop letting your doctrinal persuasion dictate your understanding of the Bible.

    Once saved always saved. Ifyou believe in a gospel of good works to be saved then you are believing in a false gospel and were never saved to begin with. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead you shall be saved. To say you can lose your salvation is to call God a lier.

    For those of who want to see what the Bible actually talks about eternal security, please do go through below passages. The scriptures are very clear eternal life is a gift of God and not works. Maintaining good works for salvation is WORKS and check out Romans 11:6 as it gives a clear distinction that it can either be works or grace, can't be both.

He told the adulteress "Go and sin no more." He did not say go and sin a little or less but stop completely or else more terrible things will happen to you if you don't, which He told that to a paralyzed man. You die in your sin you will go to hell period and without excuses. The wage of sins is death." Make sure you are pure when you will die or else you will be shock to receive from Jesus on your judgement day "Depart from me I never knew you who practice lawlessness."
      Those who says it is impossible is an excuse to keep on doing it. It is not the impossibility it is the willingness not to stop. People love so much their sins that they are not willing to give them up. Do not be deceived by the doctrine of Calvinist Once Save Always Saved it is heretic and demonic. "For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?"

Also Jesus said go and sin no more AFTER he said 'neither do I condemn thee. You can try to never ever sin, but you will fail. I am also trying my best not to sin, but even that is not good enough, because if it was, Jesus wouldn't have had to die. Only those who are born again are pure. Jesus also said "I NEVER knew you", not "I no longer know you".
      What you condemn as "Calvinism", is in fact biblical. Ask yourself. Can man's free will top God's will?
      Those who claim it was possible to stop sinning only minimize the meaning of sin, Proverbs tells this: 'for the thought of foolishness is sin'. If you seriously think you are good enough for heaven, keep trying. But I seriously urge you to read the parable with the pharisee and the publican and then you are free to decide on which side you stand. Go by God's word, the unadultered King James Bible, not your feelings.

What Jesus said in NKJV and KJV “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.” He did not say "Go and sin no more AFTER he said 'neither do I condemn thee. Your meaning is completely different to what Jesus is truly saying which you are making Jesus a liar. Do not twist His words to justify your sinful lifestyle.
      You must forsake your sins, not trying to do your best, but completely stop it. God demands 100%. and will not accept anything less then that, not even 99.99999%. It only takes one sin even lying once is enough to send you into the lake of fire. All liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”
      Jesus died to save you from your sins, not to continue sinning. If you are continuing sinning you are not a Christian but a child of the devil and your father is Satan therefore you will end up in hell with him.
      You must repent be born again and receive the Holy Spirit and die to sins. If you're not, you will not see the Kingdom of God. If you love Jesus you would keep His commandments, not some, but all of them. You can't pick and choose.
      Like I said Calvinism is heresy and demonic. Do not be deceive about it's false doctrine it will send you to hell. Jesus says you can lose your salvation while Calvin says you cannot.

      I assume you're referring to John 15:6?
      Jesus moves to the 3rd person in this passage.
      It's been Me, ye, I, you, etc. But in verse 6, He moves to "if a man" abide not in Me, he, them, they. In verse 7, Jesus returns to I, ye, (back to the audience He's addressing).
      Does that make sense?
      I'm not the best at explaining.

    John 10:28.I give them eternal life and they will never perish....
    Salvation is Christ in a person,, Ephe 1:13,Sealed with the Spirit, God does not break His seal,
    God is the saviour,Grace is free, forgiveness is a gift, Righteousness is a gift,
    We don't work for gifts,,A believer is one flesh with Christ,and Christ can't deny Himself,,
    All these verses are addressed to different audiences,in different dispensation and are not consistent with sound doctrine,,It is a matter of language in some verses,, Consult Greek lexicons for some of them.
    We are forgiven thats why we can forgive in return,, Copying our Father,,

This means that they were making it clear that the warning applied not only to the readers, but also to the writer. Unless you want to claim some assurance that is above the people the Holy Spirit used to write the Bible, then those warnings apply to us, as well!

If we give Him our heart but we do what we want, did we give it to Him? People sit in church and wait for Jesus to change them, but God says to lay aside filthiness and wickedness. Scripture says to be diligent and be found blameless. The flesh must die.
