Starship Valiant: "The Ties That Bind," SPECIAL PREVIEW
Вставка
- Опубліковано 27 сер 2024
- In 2015, the Valiant team produced a film called, "Legacy," and due to the fact that Star Trek fans embraced and welcomed us into the family of trek fan films, we immediately went to work on a sequel. That sequel is "The Ties That Bind." Although the film has not been completed as of today, the first act has been filmed, edited and put together for the fans as a thank you for their support. We know that there are audio issues and other things needing fixing and we address those things in our final release. TIES is a much larger film than the "confined" Legacy and it is more fast paced. We plan on finishing the film hopefully for release in 2018. We have been working on it since 2016. The brainchild of Michael L. King and directed by Brady Foster, with effects from Craig Frey Jr, many fans came together to make this act a reality and we hope you all are just as proud of it as we are.
SYNOPSIS:
When a new threat to the stability of the Federation arises, newly promoted Captain Jackson Kelham Bishop takes command of the newly uprated USS Valiant to unravel the threat and bring order to the region, but this enemy will test the crew of the Valiant like none ever have.
With the likes of Superfan Glen Wolfe, make-up extraordinaire Nate Bright, photographer Dan. R. Reynolds and producer Scott Johnson, The Ties That Bind is a fan film that will leave you wanting more.

Wow, this was so high stakes. Got us right into the action and held our attention. I totally got into it. Nicely done. 😄
Extremely proud of what you guys are accomplishing, Michael. Definitely see a lot of heart put into these productions which counts for a tremendous lot.
This beautiful, wonderful episode is making me cry & bawl my eyes out!! The beautiful, noble Captain doing everything she can for her ship, her crew, Starfleet…her “family”. I can’t stop crying!! THIS is what true Star Trek is all about!! The goodness of Starfleet. The nobility of the crew. The love the crew have for one another!! More beautiful episodes like these, please!! (Wiping the tears rolling down my cheeks…)
This came up on my feed and it just drew me in. Still as interesting and compelling as it was on my first viewing! Thanks for doing what you do and I hope to see its continuation when ever it is possible to do! Engage!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Looks awesome guys! Can't wait for the finished product!
All I can say is Wow. What a tremendous job you did here can't wait to see a hundred more
Thanks for more real Trek! In the days of JJ and the seeming lack of continuity in the upcoming Discovery, fan Trek is the good stuff! Live long and prosper 🖖!
Wow l love it ,want to see more,go to all the actors
That was really good. I enjoyed the story and the actors. I can't wait to see more!
❤
Michael, you make me want to make the short trip to Oklahoma and volunteer to work on your projects, Aurora, Missouri is not that far from you. You make me want more, and by the way that Gold Uniform shirt fits you well, we need to see you in it more!
A great way to start the day, thank you!
Very compelling! Has a Part 2 been made yet? Would love to see more. You could do a lot with this one.
Excellent work!
beautiful job. I hope the rest is completed.
Fantastic work and a great looking and strong Captain~
Great makeup work on the aliens!
Thank you so much. I'll pass that on to Nate.
Very exciting. The enemy is on my 'have to squashed' list now. Worry about the captive Captain and who gets to bring the smack down to these fanatics. I have to go see if the sequel got completed. I want to know how this ends!
Absolutely LOVE the music!
You know I want to see more.
Fantastic!!! Can’t wait for the rest!!
Already watched it twice, really enjoyable!!! finally somebody figured out that Klingons aren't everywhere in the galaxy, and that there`s bound to be other antagonist races out there...I like the makeup for the sukalons (is that how it's spelled?)
Just a request before I go: You only have a few episodes in the can so I can wait, but I hope eventually your end credits will be more like classic Trek (and like Starship Exeter) with image/photo cards underneath the credits...and especially with your own music instead of Goldsmith`s Trek theme...already your opening theme and sequence is my favorite...
marioozzie So glad you like the make-up! It was certainly a challenge to perform with it on. Nate Bright is an amazing SFX artist.-Erin Elizabeth Cook/Nes'ka
I love the black hole soundtrack music!
Good acting I love your videos
Thank you so much for your kindness.
I stand corrected you do have Star Trek music and awesome Preview
Wow, clean up the audio, level the vocals & finish the visual effects and you'll have a winner for sure! Good job!
Not a fan of the stories for valiant but I sure dig the make up work on them. Outstanding.
Now comes the wait!
I really like these fan made adventures. Most are better than the last 3 "trek" movies.
Love the music from "The Black Hole" (1979)
It's a great score for sure. John Barry knocked it out of the park.
A good trek adventure......
yo it's me yash .
nic3 work man.
holla
Hey buddy! How you been?
StarshipValiant good sir. I'm here with Robert. just chilling. had a great time last Friday. looking forward for another one.
keep it up guys
SOO good! Keep this up! :D
Cool
Did they ever complete this?
Will there be a 2nd act to this is that scrapped?
This story will actually be rewritten in the 30 minute format as the finished product would have been at about 1 hour and 30 minutes. The guidelines hit and pretty much disintegrated our original story.
@@StarshipValiant Looking forward to it!
Want more,,,need more,,,, starving...
Have never seen a Starship with that numbering or style of logos. That captains chair has got to go. The bridge looks like pre- Kirk days. The aliens are demonic though! Nice. Can,t believe Star Trek continues is going to be no more.
The ship IS actually a pre-Kirk era ship. A few years younger than Pike's ship. The chair was/is an obvious attempt at distinguishing it from other ships of the time. Krystal Willis, (who played the captain) was quite taken with it, as was I.
+MLKKAEFEnterprises I always thought commodore Wesley of Lexington NCC- 1709 had the most awesome chair. Just a matter of taste I guess.
Me too. It just screamed comfort.
There is Star Trek soundtrack music out there or not there is nothing wrong with a black hole soundtrack
Understood. We wanted to stay away from trek music for this preview mainly because it is so overused but that's not to say that it isn't great. The Blackhole soundtrack is so underrated that we wanted to spotlight the beautiful themes and motifs although the music used wasn't all from that soundtrack. Some was from the video game Dead Space 2 & BBC documentaries.
Is this episode out yet? It looks really good!
Nevermind I need to read the summary completely. Can't wait for the complete version this year!
This is ridiculous although they did try, the ship would be much more powerful and able to easily defeat these aliens the Constitution class was the premiere battleship for Starfleet for Captain Janeway needs to show these folks how it's done!!
These aliens look demonic! Not bad!
That s Marilyn Manson, without make up and special effects.
SuperGeert123 Hahaha! I don't know whether to laugh or be offended...or both. ;) -Actress Erin Elizabeth Cook
Hahaha, it s indeed a joke. Nice effort, episode.
Nice, sound needs work.
Thanks, as the description says, we are aware of the sound issues and will have it all corrected in the finished product.
Now that Star Trek continues has been taken off because of stupid copyrights and I hope Discovery fails. I hope Valiant can continue. I can appreciate other Constitution class Starships. Nice to see other logos besides that little Delta jet. Exeter and Farragut failed for some reason. NCC-1706 and NCC- 1647.
