- I've received many requests from our subscribers of Civil Structures family about "Manually design of G+1"/"G+2 ".
So, after giving it a thought and working for some days here I've came up with a simple building design which borrows individual structural elements and basic RCC fundamentals from my previous videos.
I am sure that you'll be able to do those calculations. I hope this video series would help you understand simple building design and boost your confidence.
For beginners I'd recommend not to skip any of the part and go through chronological order.

As you said that distance of columns at the corners shouldnt be more than 5m then why is there no column between C7 and C15.??

Because there are no walls on those beams so there is very less weight only DL you can say so in that case you can design beam for long span try with LSM. You will get pass result

Detailing of Each and every step was good, but one thing didn't cover the direction (orientation) of column position. Its plays a important role in stiffness.

Since it is assembly hall, no columns should come in hall

Why can't u connect B19, B20 and B21 with verandah columns so that We can convert two way slab to one way ..Also, why not secondary beams

Since it is a framed structure why not frame action is not consider for span of 10m instead design as a simply supported beam. if we design the 10m span for framed structure with tee beam moment of inertia for beam, the moment will be less and beam will be economical.
why dont you make another video about this topic by taking a very simple structure ex; four columns house plzz madam
