Sir, If you designed for 2-way restrained slab then we also check for shear stress, development length and also give torsion steel
Is the reinforcement mentioned in the torsion in the different corners are the gross reinforcement? Bars are coming ftom two different direkction on the top and bottom. Will those be included while accounting for torsion reinforcement?

When we design a RCC slab to determine the thickness of slab why we dont determine the thickness of it directly? I mean why we find an initial thickness for it by estimation at first and then we select a suitable thickness.
Is there any rule to follow in estimation step?
Is this same as designing roof slab?
