Why We Don't Teach Readings (yet!)
As mentioned in the introduction video to this series ( ua-cam.com/video/RKWrWRFyfYo/v-deo.html ), it is my philosophy that it is a WASTE OF TIME to learn the readings for each kanji in isolation. I explain WHY in that video.
To learn how to read kanji, I think it is best to learn WORDS that contain that kanji in the context of SENTENCES. We WILL be doing that in this series, after learning the meanings and writings for the 118 kanji in the JLPT N5 and Kanken 10 tests.
So fear not! You WILL be learning how to read them in the near future. 😊
Will there be a series and flashcards like this for the n4 and level 9 kanjis? I still don't quite know how I would find words and sentences on my own. Thanks

hey! in leason one you said we should make flashcards to help us memorize the kanji but should I also make flash cards of the radicals and parts? I only made flashcards of the meaning, which order to spell in/what it looks like + a little story to go along with it, but i'm curious if I should also do the radicals and parts

@@MrZelektronz also "二" in katakana it's literally the kanji for "two" "二" and both are read "ni"
Considering you used "Change" for 化 I now really wanna know what English keyword you're gonna use for 変.
Probably "strange" or "unusual". The word that really gets 変 the label of "change" is the word 変化, but as you can see 変化 has 化 in it, so a lot of the weight can be placed there as well. 😊
