Selling is incredibly HARD. Most people who into sales are people who don't have any college degree or have a useless degree and can't find a job so they go into sales. Usually they aren't the brightest people in the world. That's why there's a negative stigma around salesmen because most of them aren't good at selling. It's very rare to actually find a really good and successful salesman.

I don't believe in aggressive and pushing communication. Even if I agree with the fact that businesses have to make people life better and better, this leadership style appeals to people through raising fears. I would never working for this guy.

Funny how he claimed he didn't have any help, but goes on to point out all of the people who helped him. Nobody becomes successful on their own. You still need people to buy your products to support you, even if it's just you out there selling it.

Hey Mr. Cardone, how are you? Awesome great to hear! Check this out I just need a minute of your time, but first, really quick, I noticed that it's a little hot and you are busy, so in here so in return for your minute I'm gonna go ahead and give you this rare, top of the line water I brought with me..here take it, go ahead, try it out you'll love it. Anyway, check this out..I'm not here for the water, I'm here because I wanna learn from you and become the best I can possibly be. I do have a criminal background and made a few mistakes in my life. I've paid for'em, learned from'em and have grown from them. I have a 4 year old daughter, ran two businesses, been in sales. I've read books, ordered programs and all that happy crap. But I've never had a real mentor to kick my ass, so all I have is one question? Would you be interested in kicking my ass to help me be the best I can be?...........hahaha! Something like that would have been cool. True story btw...(my story) Anyway..keep kill' n it Grant!

Not sure if this was meant as an Apprentice piss-take but it's a great example of why you don't want to work for some family run business.
Your focus as a salesperson is to work deals and make money. however, in this case your also obliged to "fluff" Grant's wife and otherwise keep her entertained, watch out for Grant's hatchet girl who's hovering about in the background looking to rat you out for some perceived crime, Laugh at Grant's fat shaming jokes which in any other organization would get you a meeting with HR but nobody's going to say anything to the boss. It actually seems the companies management's main role is to psychologically destroy it's employees.
In terms of the sales side of things most professional people your going to come into contact with in corporate B2B sales situation have had sales or negotiation training themselves and trying the full pitch on them is just as likely to brand you as an untrustworthy hustler.

So if a hiring manager asked me to sell myself or an item.
What should I try to sell?
If it's a sales job then surely they want you to sell items and thus the glass of water?
However 2 of 3 that sold water were completely owned and destroyed by the hiring manger.

For some amateurs that sell water :-)
Have you ever been at or drove by water treatment plant how did it smell? Like shit right?
Can you imagine the water you are drinking from the tap had somebody's stiff hard dark brown shit-loaf floating in there 5 days ago? Or somebody's medications, somebody's cancerous cells? You want your kids drink that water? Chemicals that you use to clean your tap or wash your dishes? The water treatment plans have standard set by the FDA for minimum contamination that means you don't die instantly when you drink it but long term health effects are terrible why do you think cancer rates were going up for the last 50 years ? You wanna drink water that your ancestors would drink thousands years ago with ZERO contamination? Water that makes you healthier cleaner inside, that crisp fresh pure water that actually reliefs thirst? Here it is taste it for the first time in your life! the water that human being is supposed to drink! We use purifying methods that replicate environment that was present on planet earth when humans were hunting mammoth this water helped them sustain harsh environment and kept their bones strong, teeth sharp, muscles hard as wood. Natural balance of minerals and salts that our body has been adjusted for by mother nature.

If it's something major then maybe he doesn't want her there but then she stumbles and it seems like she's lying about it.

Best I can tell, this Cardone dude doesn't really sell anything HIMSELF. He has no technical skills, and doesn't actually make or produce anything.
Instead, all he does is go around and sell himself as a sales trainer and speaker.
Just another Tony Robbins type, tapping into that market of companies who are desperate to find and buy a "quick fix" for their shitty sales numbers.
There's a word for people like this: scammers.

    1. shake Grants hand, introduce yourself
    2. GIVE THE WATER VALUE ! how much it costs, what his cost is, how much he can make by re selling it
or drinking it for himself. make it personal, say your kids drink it etc.
    3. CLOSE ! tell him how his life will suck if he doesnt buy it.
    4. shake his hand again thank him for his time and ask if hes writing a check or paying in cash.
(to be honest i watched some of his other videos to help me sell last week)

Rich is a man who gives the best seat to others, rich is a man who humbly thinks of himself lesser than others, rich is a man who lends without expecting it back, rich is a man who is rejected by man or woman, rich and beloved is he who is lonely and deprived of worldly beauty, wealth, lust and prideful gains. Each and one of you are precious, but sadly the world of men belongs to the devil and to be sustained in his dominion you must kill, you must betray, you must hate instead of love. Money has become the threshold of marriage in the minds of women to sale off their beauty, but in the end of all, hidden empathy and regret. What was good is evil and evil is good in the devil's world, for what profit a man to gain the whole world, but lose his soul into ever lasting hell fire and complete blackness of foul remorse so intense that all the suffering in this world would fall short in comparison to a single soul in hell. Proverbs 9:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. But your newly fear of his judgment will turn you to understand his ever lasting love towards you; of not of condemnation, but fierce love to die for you, to save you and to give life in abundance. Come to Jesus.

Hi Grant, This is awesome i loved it. especially the interview part, we do say that we could do this we could do that bla bla n bla... but in reality when comes to do. we get dumb...and i think it's not because we don't know anything about something but it's because we afraid of failure. we get nervous and the only reason is we are afraid of loosing. anyway i am not much skilled, but i am loving it wanna see more of it.

Hello Sir, This video more than anything. It shows you how even some of the most confident people aren't able to speak when it comes to element they are not comfortable with. I am working towards becoming a police officer and this video will help me with some future interviews.
