Hey everyone BlueFates here if you would like to learn about the story behind the Sega Jet like how I found it and my thoughts on owning a rare piece of SEGA's history than check out the link below:
That Mega Jet is hard to find for sure! Would love to find one that doesn’t cost $400 US and above. Man one day you should open a gaming console museum with all the rare stuff you have lol
Cat in the Hat on Xbox is actually very similar to Klonoa 2 - both 2.5D platformers where you capture and throw enemies. It’s alright, certainly more “alright” than the film it’s based on lmao
also metal arms was a great game, demo disc seems awesome. Also that game over store in amsterdam is aweosme been a few times and always pickup a few things, usualy cdi stuff whitch makes sence
Wow, crazy! as just in that specific town in Belgium as my friend lives there, we were picking up a Sega Naomi cabinet which we drove 2 hours for into france, then i saw you met with Port and Thomas, missed ya just barely 2 times! Hope to catch ya next time you're in the netherlands!
FYI: Jacques Villeneuve is a French-Canadian professional racing driver from Montreal, the son of the legendary race driver Gilles Villeneuve (Formula One racing for Ferrari). It's quite intriguing to see his name featured in a European Gamecube game, which was released not only in France but also in Germany. After watching some gameplay footage, it appears to be a fun racing game!
International Superstar Soccer is Jikkyō World Soccer in Japan ,later his spin-off saga Winning Eleven or Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) became the famous rival of FiFa soccer ... the ISS3 only was released in Europe ,for Ps2 ,GC and PC.
Nice pickups Adam, notables for me were Splatterhouse (360), Signalis (PS4), Arx Fatalis (Xbox) and my local shop got a lot of complete excellent condition 3DO games in. Alter Echo and Metal Arms are amazing games. 👍🏻
Hey Adam. Sorry to hear your under the weather. Hope you get well soon. Next time you're in Amsterdam I'd highly recommend you take a trip with your other half, to Tony's Chocolonely Superstore in Ouderugsteeg. Fun place worth a Google peek first to see if its your thing. Take care. And congrats on the Mega Jet 👏
With the MegaJet, you will be the envy of everyone on your next flight! I am sure people will care a lot and be like „is that a MegaJet?“ and then you pull out the Pluto to finish them off. That’s totally a realistic expectation.
FYI: 'Jacques' is pronounced a bit like "Jack" mixed together with "Zhock" with a very soft "keck" at the end, and Villeneuve starts like Veel, and is pronounced as "Vee-ehl-nuhv". ;)
Commenting twice because not only did you meet Ibs but you now have the absolute Holy Grail of consoles I would like to own, I have a Nomad, I have a Japanese Mega Drive from the junk section but not this obscure console that I've refused to buy on eBay and only ever seen once at OLL. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 congratulations on owning a Mega Jet.
NBA Street V3 is a banger. I wish they kept making games like that. There was so much variety in video games during gen 6. They tried all sorts of things and it made gaming fun and interesting. Now all we get are 3rd person story driven games.
My guess for why the mega jet came with a European power supply is because it was meant for travel if you fly to another country and want to use it there. Might be interesting to try pal games on it if it works that might support this theory.
I don't think a PAL region Mega Jet exists, but you could always just plug in any region free game, and check if it runs at 60hz or not. EDIT: Yeah someone just threw in an extra PSU.
I always wanted the MegaJet for my travels, up until a few years ago some airline seats still had the AV inputs you could use it with if you knew what you were doing. Your cold definitely sounds like a mild COVID variant of some sort, especially with the cough the guy had, hope you are feeling much better now.
About ISS: in Japan the series is known as Perfect Eleven and ISS 3 is the last one out. It was done by Konami Computer Entertainment Osaka and is not related to Pro Evolution Soccer/Winning Eleven. That is made by KCE Tokyo
@@AdamKoralik During the 6th gen, the ISS games are known as Jikkyō World Soccer in Japan. Whilst the Pro Evolution Soccer games were known as Winning Eleven in Japan. Confusingly, during the 5th gen, the ISS Pro games were known as Winning Eleven in Japan. Jikkyō World Soccer 2002 was the only Japanese GameCube version. It was released around the time of ISS2 in the West. Which means ISS3 on the GameCube was a western only release.
Took a trip to NYC for GoFest a couple weeks ago. People told me I was gonna get covid or whatever down there but I didn't get sick until I came back from the trip and went back to work and noticed my boss was sick and coughing all over the place 😩

Too bad you been sick in amsterdam, but still glad to see your video there maybe i gonna find out about stuff i didn’t knew in there. And yeah cex in netherlands is really shockingly good in 2021 I actually managed to get fire emblem for the gamecube for 100 euros after I actually traded-in some ps2 & wii titles for credits. The stock maybe limited because they only doing 6th generation onwards in the netherlands (no dreamcast sadly) but I actually managed to find what i need from them and even thanks to their site I managed to help people to get pokemon games last year while i hunted for games in game over in amsterdam.
Both 110/220v power supply!? Maybe the gimmick behind the MegaJet was to be a easy to trasport Mega Drive for people that usually fly across the world... Maybe is also region free? The cartridge slot seems be big enough for JPN and US/PAL cartridges... Looking foward to your "rare variant" video about this! Will The 32X works on that?
Konami had two soccer series, one made by KCET (Winning Eleven) and the other made by KCEO (Perfect Eleven and Fighting Eleven for the 16-bit consoles and then the Jikkyou series for the N64 onwards). This International Superstar Soccer 3 is a version of the Jikkyou series, probably based on Jikkyou World Soccer 2002 (released in Japan for PS2, GC and Xbox, and even PC I think), but the menus are different on this european version. Not sure if they just changed the menus and kept the same game as Jikkyou World Soccer 2002.
