Thank you everyone for your amazing comments. Also, a number of you asked for the original video. Thank you SO much. Nick. ua-cam.com/video/dbEbWcNsWOY/v-deo.html
What a wonderful property. You and your partner will fill it with blood, sweat and tears and love to bring her back to life. When you opened the door to show the ball room it brought a tear to my eye. Not sure why, possibly just in awe of such beauty. Listening to your over the top excitement brings a smile. We stand with you Nick. Proud of your progress and would be so grateful to get updates on your restoration process. I am sure once you and your lady settle in your comfy couch with a glass of wine and sit and feel your surroundings peace will surround you both. Excited for you and her.
Thank you Nick for including us on this epic journey. Yes!Please do updates now and then. It's easy to see why you and Victoria bought this magnificent home, and I'm sure it will be absolutely beautiful and filled with love and happiness. Your energetic enthusiasm will see your vision come to life.
OOH WOW NICK THE BALLROOM IS a purchase point on it's own. And a Huge Garden, almost Nick, I hope you do give us "Monthly Tours". Looking forward to seeing more Nick, Outstanding; Blessings Always KIRK'OUT'PEACE
I remember this home Nick, i loved it then. Please keep us up to date on the restorations, i can't wait to see the finished result, Its going to be magnificent. You are very lucky to have found this gem.
Nick, I'm speechless. I've restored three stone houses and understand the feelings of unadulterated love they stir in the soul. Ancient terracotta, hand fashioned beams, original doors, wells, room-size fireplaces, frescoes ... it's a long list of bliss. The galleried lounge is Venetian masked ball on steroids. And then there's the garden. Bravo.
I'm a little late to this one but, OMG! What an amazing place you have there Nick. The Grand Ballroom is such a treat! I'm sure you'll never see another one still relatively intact like this one. And yes please, I love a good rummage through old homes, a video of the amazing stuff you've salvaged would be awesome! And holy guacamole! That ceiling is amazing! I'm so impressed that you are keeping as much of the originality of the property as possible. I absolutely love history and not enough of it is saved when renovating. You've got yourself an absolute treasure there!
Oh WOW,, Nick, that place is beautiful.! That ballroom .. oh my. ! Yes would love to keep updated on the restoration of this historic beauty. Thank you so much for the lovely tour..
You look like you are floating with happiness and fulfillment! Clearly you are in the place that has been waiting for you! What an amazing home and adventure!!! Thank you for sharing this!
OMG, Nick, priceless…….what a find. You are the Perfect person for this property. So very happy for you. Please do keep us up to date on the progress of the renovations. Lovely!!! 👍🥰❤️🥂
Congratulations, Nick, what an incredibly beautiful home you & Victoria are restoring!! And that ballroom is achingly beautiful!! We will watch this video again & again; it’s such a treat! And yes, we would love a rummage. Also, my vote is not to paint the man cave ceiling; what fantastic history in every corner of your beautiful palazzo!👏👏
Nick, as a former realtor, I think we tend to sometimes wander into hyperbole when we show property. But you, Nick, are truly and authentically in love with Italian architecture, and you use the same descriptions for your own home! ❤
We love you too Nick. You fill your videos with your warm and happy heart and share it all with us. Italia suits you so well, and you are perfect for Italia. Sometimes, clichés come true, like a marriage made in heaven. Thankyou for all the chuckles, your faithful friend and dog Mackie, and for taking us all on your magical travels. You always give us time to appreciate the beauty and fascination of all your properties. It's Aladin's Cave, 1001 Nights and romance and beauty. And a taste for all your viewers of properties and landscapes and places to admire and imagine being in. The palazzo you are restoring will tell many more enchanted stories along the way as you all give this place your tender loving care with as yet untold years of celebration and good times to come. We send our love to you and all your family and happy guests to the house. Anghieri and that long, endless road will be a bit, and much more special, with you living there. Best to everyone on the channel. Un salutone a tutti da Bruxelles, John
I absolutely love your new home. My husband and I are in the USA and love Italy. Your show is outstanding....the history and knowledge of architectural design has taught us so much. Please provide updated videos of your property. We love old and historic homes and items.... Don't change anything about yourself or show.... outstanding just the way you are...the love and passion are demonstrated in every presentation. You're not just selling a home but the history of ITALY. WE LOVE YOU.... THE CAMERA WILL ADJUST.. Rhonda and Jack
Speechless!! Absolutely stunning doesn’t begin to describe the grandeur and beauty of this house The ballroom is stupendous. 1620 keeps racing around my mind. How did they do it? Obviously it was built for a wealthy family but the workmanship and attention to detail is astounding for a house in a road in Anghiari. I for one hope you continue with videos of this restoration. Also, some historical information about previous owners would be intriguing. You are a very fortunate man to own this and the house is very fortunate to have you & your family as guardians. Buona fortuna!!
Congratulations Nick and significant other with the purchase of this cracking building! Thank you for taking us on this guided tour! I hope to see more when you are either moved in, or when you have finished...or _both!_ Would love to see more from that treasure trove room of yours! 😊👍 Cudos to you for keeping hold of so many of the stuff that was in there when you took ownership. Thank you also for staying true to the houses heritage and history (e.g. something as menial as that _one_ floor tile), and also supporting the artisans that have done an extraordinary piece of work for you... Well done! 👏👏👏👏
Every room, the garden, the floors, the ceilings, the walls, the old tub.............wordless....no - wait - one word - heaven. But, I would not want to clean it!! lol
I always tell people that envy is a terrible trait to have. BUT this property of yours has given me a clear case of it. It is so beautiful. I just want to cry .... incredible
My goodness!! What can I say about such a masterpiece of beauty! Wow! If anyone can love, appreciate and preserve such a historical building…it’s Nick! It’s in your voice in your words and your contagious excitement of this accomplishment ! It’s absolutely stunning, I wish nothing less than many decades of happiness in this beauty with everyone close to your heart Nick! You work hard and you deserve to have your dream fulfilled. I genuinely feel so happy for you! Congratulations ❤
Nick. Whenever I see old historical buildings like this one, I can't help but think about it's history. My mind starts thinking about all the stories that the rooms hold. Just imagine the secrets the walls hold. It's witnessed many wars, conflicts & private meetings. While also possible happier stories of party's, celebrations, holidays and perhaps loved ones returning from war or long travels. This is when one really wishes that the walls could actually talk 😆.
Oh my. This property is in such loving hands. Your care and love for its history is satisfying to watch. I am trying to imagine how I would decorate such a living room that is already decorated…. Hoping for that video someday. Thank you for your videos and charming nature.
I just can't find the words! You had me in the first few minutes with the beautiful doors, and hand forged hinges. By the time you were at the staircase my eyes filled with tears of excitement. Then the ballroom! Just no words! This magnificent home has been patiently waiting for the perfect family to come restore happiness, passion, patience, and love back into its soul. A partnership written centuries ago, continues once again. Congratulations to you both! 👏 ❤
I remember you showing us this property and I told myself, “he’s gonna buy it!” Because of your immense enthusiasm- well, you are usually very excited about a lot of the places you present, but there was such a spark about this one. I am very happy for you and your family.
Wow so beautiful. Nick it's always been delightful to hear the enthusiasm in your voice in every property you show, but with this house I can just feel your pure happiness and even ecstasy (especially in that stairway). Many blessings in this house for your family for many years! I hope you give us another tour as the work gets completed. Beautiful!!
So cool you ended up owning this wonderful piece of history. Your palazzo and the one with the rooftop garden and untouched pharmacy from the ‘50’s are the two most memorable properties you have shown in my opinion. Just wonderful stuff.
You have the background showing older homes. So feel you would be charmed by this and sure it shall be beautiful while preserving the history. The garden will be delightful when you get to it. Thank you for sharing your new home
Oh Nick! When you opened the door to the ballroom I just gasped... Then shouted out loud "Oh Nick! OMG, what on earth?! YES!" 😂 The first thing I'd do if I bought a house with a room like that is have a candlelight picnic on the floor of that room with baroque music and local wine and pinch myself! 🙌 The entire house is incredible! Oh and That Garden!?What in the world... You found THE house, made of history and dreams! And inside a villeage too! Everything about the house is fenomenal! Unique! Beautiful! And what a warm vibe! Oh it will take years to restore, and there'll always be work to do on it, but that's part of the whole lifestyle and for sure a labour or love. I hope you do get to move in relatively soon. That will be a milestone and make progress from there easier. But it's good you are staying elsewhere until it's comfortably livable in any area. That's one of the things my friends on many yt restoration channels often say, when they break down the "What we wish we had known before", is waiting to move in until your first living space is comfortably heated, with fully functionable kitchenette, laundry and bath. You can count on me watching any and every video you share about your space, with pleasure! There's so much to see and talk about. I have a zillion questions. The window in the stariwell you installed is fantastic, I cant imagine what it was like without it! The lime painted rooms beautiful! Yes, totally agree, it's old skool paints that bring walls like these back to life, no modern paints. Egg and linseed oil tempera is also a beautiful alternative that won't release chalk, is washable once it's cured a few months and is overall more durable for high trafficked areas, also kitchens etc. It's very easy to mix up yourself with easily available and affordablr ingredients (earth pigments, fresh eggs, boiled linseed oil, water, a little vinager and some calcium carbonate for structure) and easy to paint with, extra beautiful if you use a long bristled brush in layers. Matte and changes constantly with the light, but can also be brushed up to a sheen (nice for darker hues in kitchens, baths etc). Used since the early renaissance! (the Sisteen Chapel for example) My God such beauty you have to care for! I'm so happy for the house too, it now has owners who will cherish it and bring back it's glory ❤❤❤ 👌 Thank you for this BIG reveal. How generous of you. Congratulations on your award, and yoir followers abd your own dream house in Italy. You're an ambassador of all the qualities you found in your home to be, you certainly deserve it Nick. Bravissimo!
Oh, Nick, I can hear your pure love for this fantastic historic building, and that gives me happiness too! I feel so happy and secure that you are the perfect and caring owner of this treasure of Italy! Thank you very much for showing us this palazzo! The wall paintings in 3 d in the saloon was wonderful and amasing! Congratulations to a fantastic property!
Your new home is so amazing! Lots and lots of space, and history. So glad you are restoring your home. I am very happy for you guys! And yes when you are renovating, keep us up to date with your progress!
What a wonderful find Nick! I would love to see future videos as you progress with your restoration. Please leave the ballroom as just that. Everyone needs to dance, including your dog.
Hello Nick, it is 1pm eastern Canadian time Saturday October 21st. 2023. You have a wonderful palazzo here and I can see the potential of what this will become after the work is done. I can here the excitement in your voice. Stay healthy and good luck in your project. Can't wait to see the finished product. This palazzo is grining from ear to ear that it found you to bring it back to life.
I am so happy for you and your wife….you deserve this..please do a video when yo are done and moved in …dont leave us hanging on the end result..your amazing……we love your show….❤
How wonderful and generous of you to share your new home with us, Nick. I and my wife would absolutely love to see more videos as you continue with your marvelous restoration process. You have purchased a diamond in the rough, and we can all see that with your passion, love, and skill, you will restore this home into the masterpiece it once was. Bravo!
It will be interesting to see how you will light your home inside and out. There are wonderful things they are doing with LED these days, including battery powered that does not require running wires.
Nick, I have done a lot of historical renovation in old east Dallas and found soda blasting to be the best to preserve the old finishes and not destroy the the old finishes. I love your enthusiasm for this project and wish you the very best. My buildings were a little over 100 years old and are all on the National Register of Historic Places.
Love the opening shot. This is your BEST house tour because it's obvious you and Victoria are in love with this palazzo and are probably the only couple in all of Europe who will lovingly restore this amazing structure back to sparkling beauty no matter how long it takes. Good for you Nick. All the best. I'm putting you on my "get in touch with" list the next time I'm in Italy.
Congratulations Nick!! What a majestic home! Love the work that you and Victoria have completed already….. but that ballroom, staircase, and frescos have my heart! By all means continue to take us on this journey if the restoration of your new beautiful home!❤️
Oh my goodness! I remember this property and remember how excited you were to show it! I can't tell you how much joy it gives me to know you bought it! I am in awe of the cantilevered staircase and the fresco - obviously it's a dream! Would love to see the progress you and your partner make on the restoration. Congratulations on the UA-cam award, as well. No one deserves it more than you! Thank you for your passion and your love of history and architecture - you help keep the dream alive in me!
Nick….what can one say….a beautiful, stunning home that you and Victoria are bringing back to life. We so appreciate you taking the time to share with us and we would LOVE to see progress videos and of course the final reveal. The property is gorgeous. Congratulations and keep your videos, your infectiously wonderful attitude and your love of properties and Italy coming…now off to watch your latest property offering 😊
I had a feeling 1/3 of the way in that we had been there before! Son of a gun! Now this is a project worthy of you. Great place with out a doubt. Close to all that you love. Nick, this will be the feather in your hat. It will be so appropriate when you pull this off. Absolutely I want to see progress reports. What a day for all of us. Thank you for sharing more of you than you ever have. Don’t forget Mr. Skeleton next week…. Bravo! Sei più che incredibile!
Wow wow - so proud of you what an incredible house - it was so funny we are looking in Italy for a villa / vineyard for my new project and I suddenly clicked on a video and there you were !!! It warmed my heart do much to see your face and hear your voice !!!! I sent you a few messages on Facebook - much love Paula
Gorgeous, gorgeous home, dream and piece of history! It is very fortunate to have you and your family as it’s new guardians! What a perfect fit! I feel your passion for this restoration project- it shines through the screen. Buona fortuna! (More vids of this when you can, please!) Deborah p.s. the ballroom is to die for and those wood burners!
I remember falling in love with this property when I first saw the original video. Tis a stunning gem with the lot. Thank you for sharing Victoria and your loving restoration, Nick. Beautiful. 💙
Just for buying a property subject to the Italian superintendence restrictions, you deserve a medal, I can only imagine the struggles, difficulties and bureaucratic battles. That said though, in "change" you have a gorgeous Palazzo, congratulations. 🍺
I just wanted to cry! it is so beautiful, stunning. You are going to be transformed when you inhabit this Palace, you'll never be the same again, possibly from all the scars you'll both have from the mammoth building tasks. You are doing a noble thing bringing it back to life
Well I do not know where to start, WOW Nick what a treasure, I like you am a lover of Architect and old things of Beauty, and well this home is all that, when they say Jaw hits the floor well I now know why, I actually was looking right into the screen to see that wonderful fresco in the ballroom it was as if you could walk right into it. The rooms are amazing and you have both done great work so far, the glass ceiling must give so much joy in all seasons as the yellows and orange streaming in and down in the summer, the winter nights of full moons above it what can I say. But yes yes I want to see it all as much as you can show. The Garden I would love a walk around that too please, lol, Oh how I wish I could turn back time the first place I would go is Italy. Sadly I can only dream through your wonderful videos, The very best of luck to you all and just cant wait for next instalment. Much love sent to you and yours Dede xxxxx
Two years ago I began to follow this nice person Nick Ferrand, who show to us amaizings propertys in Italy. From country houses, Castles and Palazzos. Every week or weekend we expect for your fenomenal show Nick. Congratulations, all the time you grow, and grow better. I remenber this property and, again, my congratulation for you, the new owner. Of course I will be waiting for the video when you finish it. As allways good job Nick. Thank you
I did not see original video of home, so all new to me. A ballroom! Rummage video? Absolutely. What a treasure you have invested in. It will be a well spent life living there. Not yet done watching. I am on the 1st floor. Okay..done. The work your and Victoria's hands do to restore for your lives there, will be so rewarding, as you enjoy all the builders did originally. So blown away by the size and beauty of it, Nick. Blessings to you for your life to be lived there.
Wow 🤩 Thank You so much for sharing Your Own Renovation Experience! As soon as you went into that “theater room” I’ll call it, I remembered seeing the original video you made. Those frescoes are priceless! I love them. This is so exciting! I agree with the more elegant lime walls versus rag. The work you’ve already done is outstanding! I can’t wait to see how it evolves! What a Gorgeous Labour of Love! I love how this “investment” is the gift that keeps on giving with more & more surprises revealing themselves to you! I laugh thinking that the cantina has more depth under those stones… quietly removing them I bet you’ll find more treasures! I have had some of the most interesting conversations around keeping the “unearthed findings” quiet & away from prying government seizures. 😂 🎉❤🎉
Hi Nick, I have commented twice but cannot see either comment. My first comment was very emotional as my heart soared as I watched your emotional tour of the perfect house. Every inch a masterpiece. I was emotionally drained at the end of your tour. I remember the first time you went through. Rummage yes More videos yes Wash very gently do not cover up or paint over. Please be careful / aware of lead based paint? asbestos? or any other nasties that may be present hundreds of years ago. I am relieved you love exactly what we do, the History and Craftmanship, the quirky, the tangible essence of past lives lived throughout. Stunning does not even come close. Yourself and Victoria are perfect for this restoration. You have made our day Nick, our nibbles are gone and we look forward to watching your painstaking attention to detail emerge from the centuries of dust. 🎉 Congratulations on your new home and 100,000 happy subscribers! 😘❤️🇦🇺🦘
I’m so sorry Gail that your comments got lost. This one however didn’t, and I can’t thank you enough. Please send my best regards to your husband. Yes, we will. Best wishes, Nick and Victoria 🤗❤️🙏
All I can say is WOW! You have hit the jackpot with this treasure. I wish you and your family many years of joy here. You have an eye for hidden gems. Please keep us updated as you progress. My jaw dropped as you filmed from the railing down into the grand ballroom. This is a stunner. Bravo!
You are very deserving of this remarkable find, Nick. You will respect its history and its extraordinary significance. It has taught me things of which I had no idea. The wells! The solid rock wash basin! The ballroom with its trompe l’œil mural was a delightful surprise! Thank you for sharing your joy in Italian architecture and history, and especially in your wonderful “new” home!
Dear Nick and Victoria, I sincerely wish your family a very speedy reno! So that your family and friends( by friends, I mean us subbies😊) may enjoy your cheerfulness, warmth, and love of all things historical, natural, furred, winged, or branched in your absolutely stunning palazzo. All the best from perpetually sunny Southern California.
Month's ago ! The first time you showed us the house . I was overwhelmed . I wondered . Who would take on such a project ? The challenge of ten lifetimes . Imagine my delight when you outed yourself as the madman with the vision and the will to dream and succeed . I watched "The Agony and the Ecstasy" this past week . Painting the Old Testament on the Ceiling of the Sistine Chapel seems no less a triumph of the human spirit than what you have accomplished with the rebirth of this incredible palazzo . The Stanza Principali __the main room , continues to be my guilty pleasure . I stop framed as much as possible . The rapture I felt for what you showed us is absolutely for real . You could do a careful study on that subject alone . From what I can see after a long looking __ three sessions so far and things really start to speak . Time stops . Starting with the Battle of Anghiari . Which this house just might remember . And even moreso with the Battle between Leonardo and Michelangelo . The better painter ?! Leonardo's lost masterpiece may be in hiding , secreted behind a huge Vasari in the Town Hall of Florence . Lots of drama here . With your Masterpiece an equal contender for the spotlight . On living walls that sing with a subsequent generation of nineteenth century tropes as later additions to the original aesthetic__ echoing in a most democratic fashion all the styles of classicism that have come before . I wonder ? Have you called in someone or even a team to study what is contained within your very own realm of color , line and form ? You most certainly may have a national treasure on your hands . The intarsia evidenced on the floors __looks to be marble inlay of the highest quality . The landing upstairs may have original work still surviving under layers of venetian plaster . We must learn the history of the house . There will be surprises aplenty . A BBC Special seems a goal well within reason . And those gardens ! I can't wait !
Nick!!! I’m so jealous of you, you little bastard!! Your home is amazing, as are your home tours! Your excitement and joy is contagious, and your appreciation of the old is right up there with mine. My partner’s parents immigrated from Italy, and I’ve been trying to convince him to buy a home there since we’ve both retired, and I’m almost there! Thank you for your channel, yours is the most enjoyable of all the other channels about property for sale in Italy, and when we do buy a home in Italy, I hope it’s one from your channel. Ciao, and keep up the good work!
Hi Nick, Oh I love that on the roof shot, I'm glad you have a rope on. So exciting to be touring you and your partner's home! Yay! Lead on! Wow, one day! Your two are totally great! Oh what a magnificent roof cave for you! Oh I am so happy for you, what a garden....it is huge! and in the town/village!!! I believe keeping the ceiling original as long as it is safe! Gorgeous bedroom (I don't care for lime rag!) looks great! Ceiling is gorgeous! Love, love, love the Latin! what a great wood burner antique, here in Canada just that would cost a fortune. Yay, I agree --leave the plaster alone !There is a fortune in old antiques there! OMGoodness THE BALLROOM. Holy, holy, so magnificent! YES PLEASE MORE RUMMAGE! OH THE CEILING, OMG and the floor. This room is definitely a PALACE Ballroom. Love it so much! Yes, the light is crazy beautiful on the stair rail and through the window. Ohhhh! The original well and I'm so happy you are keeping the old door! Wow,, solid stone carved wash.sink. Okay $50 is such a good insane price for 15th century door! Beautiful! OmG more ceiling painted and the Doctors office would make a great art studio~!! I am so very happy for you and your family, Nick and yes, I would love to see more of your beautiful Palace as you continue to refurbish it. Wishing you all the Best Laara, Canada
Dear Laara, I haven't been able to reply to all the comments due to other matters. So sorry for my delay. It's always a joy receiving your messages and observations. 🥰 Thank you. Best wishes, Nick.
i barely know where to start having watched this ... other than that ballroom is INSANE! and the garden is extraordinary ... and, once again, your commentary is such a joy to hear someone so genuinely happy .... but finally i have to take my hat off to you for the sheer courage and commitment for having taken this on. the work you have both done looks utterly fantastic.
Wowzers Nick an absolutely beautiful house!! Congratulations to you Victoria & Family. May your home be filled with abundance of love, health and happiness ❤
We recognized this property immediately when we saw the ballroom! Congratulations to you and Victoria. Your excitement and pure love for your new home brought us great joy Nick. Your genuine admiration and respect for history is what has kept us coming back again and again to watch all your videos. It is no surprise that your channel has taken off so well. You're amazing! We've been subscribers since the beginning and we're so happy to see you flourish doing what you love to do. Yes, we'd love to see the progress on this gem of a home. May you enjoy many happy years there and we wish you all the very best. Cheers! 🥂🍾
Oh wow Nick we are in love with your palazzo as well. There’s presence but a home deeply thankful for her second chance. She is a grand Italian grandmother and we are so grateful that you found each other. Congratulations and thank you for keeping her history untouched. Mac will be happy there 😊 Alessandro & Rentia from South Africa
Thankyou for sharing another part of your life. I love being shown the beautiful buildings in towns and countryside. I love Italy and am so happy that you started Utube. Well done Nick you deserve your plaque as you take us around houses that many of us can only dream about.lol
I really enjoy your enthusiasm Nick for everything old and the history from bits and pieces to architecture. It is important to enjoy what you do for a living and you show us every week the passion that you have; that is incredible . I try to surround myself in my life with people like yourself. I know it's hard work but the reward is priceless. I appreciate what you do keep it up :)
Ciao Nick, I have no idea how the heck I missed this video. I think I was away on holiday to see my sister. The house is just beautiful. I agree I would not change a thing; The place is massive. So rich in history. I would love to see updates as your restoration progresses. Thank you so much for sharing your personal home with us. Love from N.Y.
Hello from Massachusetts, U.S.A., I'm new to your channel and I'm enjoying you showing these Italian properties. I must say when you showed your ballroom inside your home, I nearly lost my mind ! Just incredible ! You are a true preservationist. Yes, please show more of your journey with this spectacular house.
Wow! Rummage please and progress videos PLEASE! So very happy for you all to have found this diamond in the rough. I wish you many happy years in this new home.
Thank you Nick for sharing the tour of your amazing house. Please, keep posting the progress of your restoration as much you can. Sending you the most positive vibrations and blessings for your endeavor! 🎉❤ I adore your rummage among the findings of the house.
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us. I’m not who was more excited us or you. Wow! As you would say spectacular!!!! And thank you so much for saving this incredible find and not revamping it and ruining its original features. Please please show us your progress as go restore and find new and wonderful things. My wife and I love things as you do. Woohoo!
Wow! Just wow!! I do hope you can save the wall and ceiling frescoes... maybe just wash with a weak vinegar/baking soda solution with a couple drops of tea tree oil (defo test on a small corner first)? Lime paint on the non-frescoed walls and wax on the floors would be my preference also and your finish is stunning. This palazzo and you are a marriage made in heaven, Nick- the grand old dame will be grateful for the attention and gorgeous when finished, and you will be the deserving owner of a peerless home. Much happiness. Updates please!
Thanks for the tour, Nick, of your wonderful new property! I can't wait to see the progress you make over the months and years. The house is in good hands and is being lovingly restored. Your love of all things Italian is contagious. I'm currently touring Umbria and Tuscany and now know why it is that you love it. Grazie!
Oh please please please keep us updated on your journey returning this beautiful property to its glory again. What an awesome house and what a job you have in front of you but man oh man...what a labor of love it will be. The ballroom...crikey what a beautiful space!!!! I look forward to more please and thank you xoxo🙏❤😘
Oh my God.... I am so excited and happy for you.... what a gorgeous property... the main salon and the ballroom make me cry with envy...I love every Palazzo that I see but we would never have the nerve to go through that level of repair and upgrade... so proud and happy for you both...
Nick, we have been with you for most of your journey and now we understand your passion and drive for Italian properties. We look forward to continuing this journey and your resurrection of your lovely home. Cheers from Brisbane, Australia. Mark & Michelle. 😎🤓
Nick, good morning, friend. What a great find you have brought us and shared with us. This is a gem with so much potential, ready to be loved and bring her back to her glory. 🇮🇹🍷❣️
I just watched this video. I absolutely felt the excitement in your voice. Myself coming from East Tennessee in the US. I have never seen anything like this. It’s so beautiful. Thank you so much for showing it to us. I am watching all your videos now. I am such a fan. Thank you again for letting me see a glimpse in house.
I love the lime paint. It's not that yellow paint. It's gorgeous. My goodness, Nick. That ballroom would be my bedroom. You're house is so special. I'm happy for you.
Nick, Nick, Nick and Victoria thank you for the fabulous tour. I love your enthusiasm for your very daunting home. Please keep us updated as you restore all of it. And when you have time I would love to see the garden close up.
Congratulations on your magnificent property. The detailed ballroom is breathtaking!. It obviously had your name on it and was waiting for you both to restore this grand lady back to her former beauty. Every room has so much history. The original pieces such as the bath and magnificent doors everywhere. But I think the standout is the skylight which sheds light all the way down the 4 floors!!! Best video ever Nick thank you for including your followers in this tour look forward to seeing more in the future.
Thank you everyone for your amazing comments. Also, a number of you asked for the original video. Thank you SO much. Nick. ua-cam.com/video/dbEbWcNsWOY/v-deo.html

Bravo.
Thanks James. 🙏
Thank you. 🤗🙏❤️
And I share your position about being 'stewards', not merely 'owners'...I've always felt this responsibility and honor with my homes.
🥰 Thank you. Best wishes, Nick.
OMG, Nick, priceless…….what a find. You are the Perfect person for this property. So very happy for you. Please do keep us up to date on the progress of the renovations. Lovely!!! 👍🥰❤️🥂
The most beautiful thing I have ever seen on the internet.
😊 Thank you so very much! 😍🙏🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗❤️❤️ N.
Thank you Sharon. I agree with you. 🙏❤️😊🤗
Enthusiastic and in love with life. You go Nick!
Nick, as a former realtor, I think we tend to sometimes wander into hyperbole when we show property. But you, Nick, are truly and authentically in love with Italian architecture, and you use the same descriptions for your own home! ❤
🥰 Thank you so much. Best wishes, Nick.
Thank you so much John. So grateful for your very kind comment. 🤗🤗🙏🙏❤️❤️ Nick
The house will adjust! 🥰 Thank you. Best wishes, Nick.
The BALLROOM. Oh wow !!
I had to watch it again. I can only imagine having a few glasses of wine and just looking at the incredible room. Wow !!
Speechless!! Absolutely stunning doesn’t begin to describe the grandeur and beauty of this house
The ballroom is stupendous.
Thank you 🙏🤗❤️😍🤗❤️
I would have bought this house for the ballroom and stair railings alone❤❤❤. So incredible and special.
Thank you. We think so too. ❤️🙏🤗
Congratulations Nick and significant other with the purchase of this cracking building!
Thank you for taking us on this guided tour! I hope to see more when you are either moved in, or when you have finished...or _both!_ Would love to see more from that treasure trove room of yours! 😊👍
Cudos to you for keeping hold of so many of the stuff that was in there when you took ownership. Thank you also for staying true to the houses heritage and history (e.g. something as menial as that _one_ floor tile), and also supporting the artisans that have done an extraordinary piece of work for you...
Well done! 👏👏👏👏
Thanks Peter. 🙏 Nick.
Yes, it is a masterpiece!
Thank you so much. 🥰 Bless you, Nick.
Yes, you are right, walls speak and are witnesses to many stories.
Agreed. Thank you. 🙏🤗❤️
Yes, please. A monthly restoration update video would be most welcome!
Oh my. This property is in such loving hands. Your care and love for its history is satisfying to watch. I am trying to imagine how I would decorate such a living room that is already decorated…. Hoping for that video someday.
Thank you for your videos and charming nature.
So glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for watching
My eyes just filling up with tear. Thank you. ♥️
I remember you showing us this property and I told myself, “he’s gonna buy it!” Because of your immense enthusiasm- well, you are usually very excited about a lot of the places you present, but there was such a spark about this one. I am very happy for you and your family.
Thank you Brian. 🙏
Beautiful!!
Thanks so much. N
CONGRADULATIONS ON YOUR STUNNING PURCHASE!
So cool you ended up owning this wonderful piece of history. Your palazzo and the one with the rooftop garden and untouched pharmacy from the ‘50’s are the two most memorable properties you have shown in my opinion. Just wonderful stuff.
Thanks John. 🙏❤️
You have the background showing older homes. So feel you would be charmed by this and sure it shall be beautiful while preserving the history. The garden will be delightful when you get to it. Thank you for sharing your new home
The ballroom! The ceiling of the storage room! This is going to be just insanely beautiful❣️
(the Sisteen Chapel for example)
My God such beauty you have to care for! I'm so happy for the house too, it now has owners who will cherish it and bring back it's glory ❤❤❤ 👌
Thank you for this BIG reveal.
How generous of you. Congratulations on your award, and yoir followers abd your own dream house in Italy. You're an ambassador of all the qualities you found in your home to be, you certainly deserve it Nick. Bravissimo!
I'm so sorry I missed your message. I always enjoy receiving them. Thank you. Have a great week. Nick.
Thank you Martin. ❤️
Lovely property and it's lucky to have found you.
Thank you. 🙏
I know. 🥰 Thank you. Best wishes, Nick.
I am so happy for you and your wife….you deserve this..please do a video when yo are done and moved in …dont leave us hanging on the end result..your amazing……we love your show….❤

You have purchased a diamond in the rough, and we can all see that with your passion, love, and skill, you will restore this home into the masterpiece it once was. Bravo!
Thank you both for your kind message. 🤗❤️🙏 Nick.
Wow Lewis, that sounds amazing and thanks for the tip. Would love to see some pictures. 🥰 Thank you. Best wishes, Nick.
Thank you so much Peggy. Looking forward to meeting you. Have a great weekend. Nick.
Congratulations Nick!! What a majestic home! Love the work that you and Victoria have completed already….. but that ballroom, staircase, and frescos have my heart!
By all means continue to take us on this journey if the restoration of your new beautiful home!❤️
Thanks so much Patricia. ❤️🙏😊 Nick.
🥰 Thank you. Best wishes, Nick.

Wow Nick! What a beautiful property. I can totally see why you brought it. What a staircase and garden! Congrats on the 100k subs. I love your videos
You are so welcome. 🥰 Thank you. Best wishes, Nick.
You are so welcome Deborah and yes, I will be doing more videos. 🥰 Thank you. Best wishes, Nick.
I remember falling in love with this property when I first saw the original video. Tis a stunning gem with the lot. Thank you for sharing Victoria and your loving restoration, Nick. Beautiful. 💙
Congratulations, Nick! What an amazing project. So much potential. Can’t wait to see more videos as the house and gardens progress!
You are so welcome Robert 🥰 Thank you. Best wishes, Nick.
Just for buying a property subject to the Italian superintendence restrictions, you deserve a medal, I can only imagine the struggles, difficulties and bureaucratic battles.
That said though, in "change" you have a gorgeous Palazzo, congratulations. 🍺
To be honest it’s not that bad, as long as you don’t want to whitewash the entire house. 🤣🙏🤗
I just wanted to cry! it is so beautiful, stunning. You are going to be transformed when you inhabit this Palace, you'll never be the same again, possibly from all the scars you'll both have from the mammoth building tasks. You are doing a noble thing bringing it back to life
🥰 Thank you. It will be fine. Best wishes, Nick.
What a joy to bring this magnificent property back to life. Can't wait to see the progress. Just gorgeous!!!
Thanks so much Dede. You are so very welcome. 🥰 Best wishes, Nick.
Thank you
You are very kind Xavier. I always enjoy receiving your comments from the start. One day I hope to meet you. Thank you. 🤗🙏
🥰 Thank you. Best wishes, Nick.
🎉❤🎉
They can only buy it now when we sell it, which will be never! 🥰 Thank you. Best wishes, Nick.
Hi Nick, I have commented twice but cannot see either comment. My first comment was very emotional as my heart soared as I watched your emotional tour of the perfect house. Every inch a masterpiece. I was emotionally drained at the end of your tour. I remember the first time you went through.
Rummage yes
More videos yes
Wash very gently do not cover up or paint over.
We could not be happier for you, Tom said I knew it, its our favourite house, youve ever shown. 🥂 ❤️🇦🇺🦘
All I can say is WOW! You have hit the jackpot with this treasure. I wish you and your family many years of joy here. You have an eye for hidden gems. Please keep us updated as you progress. My jaw dropped as you filmed from the railing down into the grand ballroom. This is a stunner. Bravo!
Thank you! You too! Best wishes, Nick ❤️❤️❤️🤗🤗🤗🤗🙏🙏🙏
Our house is a very very very fine house with two cats in the yard, life used to be so hard - now everything is easy cause of you...😘
I remember when you showed us this originally it has always remained my favourite.
Just love your comment Mary. Thank you so much. 🙏🤗❤️
Dear Nick and Victoria,
I sincerely wish your family a very speedy reno!
So that your family and friends( by friends, I mean us subbies😊) may enjoy your cheerfulness, warmth, and love of all things historical, natural, furred, winged, or branched in your absolutely stunning palazzo.
All the best from perpetually sunny Southern California.
Blessing from cold Tuscany. 🥰 Thank you. Best wishes, Nick.
You are so welcome. 🥰 Thank you. Best wishes, Nick.
@@italianproperty Thanks so much Nick, for all you do! Best Wishes, Laara from Canada
i barely know where to start having watched this ... other than that ballroom is INSANE! and the garden is extraordinary ... and, once again, your commentary is such a joy to hear someone so genuinely happy .... but finally i have to take my hat off to you for the sheer courage and commitment for having taken this on. the work you have both done looks utterly fantastic.
I can’t wait to see more of the renovation of your home! Thank you for sharing it with us.
Wowzers Nick an absolutely beautiful house!! Congratulations to you Victoria & Family.

Your home is just stunning!! I really love that you kept so many of the original treasures as possible!! I'd love a rummage video!
Thank you both. HNY. Macchi loves the garden and is doing a great job finding old bones. 😃
Thankyou for sharing another part of your life. I love being shown the beautiful buildings in towns and countryside. I love Italy and am so happy that you started Utube. Well done Nick you deserve your plaque as you take us around houses that many of us can only dream about.lol
Amazing!!! Please keep us posted on your progress and yes, a thousand times yes....rummage!!!!! Congratulations on your UA-cam award! 👏👏👏
That’s a really lovely message. Thank you. ❤️
Hello from Italy and welcome to the Italian Property famiglia!! Thank you so much for watching and your lovely comment!! 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🙏
I adore your rummage among the findings of the house.
Gorgeous! Yes please rummage further through your treasures! ❤
Will do 🙏😊❤️
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us. I’m not who was more excited us or you. Wow! As you would say spectacular!!!! And thank you so much for saving this incredible find and not revamping it and ruining its original features. Please please show us your progress as go restore and find new and wonderful things. My wife and I love things as you do. Woohoo!
You are so welcome. 🥰 Thank you. Best wishes, Nick.
You have a LIMONAIA too!😀🥳💖 I love the house and gardens. I hope you, Victoria and the family throughly enjoy living here, it is beautiful Nick.
Thank you so much 😊 ❤️🤗
Wow!
Thanks for your tips. Sorry for my delay. 🥰 Thank you. Best wishes, Nick.
The floors and the wood work is awesome. What a dream property! Words fail me.
Grazie!
Have a great time. Thank you. 🙏😊❤️
Thank you Patricia. It’s going to be fine. 😊🤗❤️🙏
Hi Mark & Michelle. Thank you so much for your support. It really means a lot to me. ❤️🙏😊🤗❤️
That room , with all things you found in house , looks like an antique store ❤️ love it . Keep all those beautiful things ❤️ irreplaceable 🥰❤️
Nick, good morning, friend. What a great find you have brought us and shared with us. This is a gem with so much potential, ready to be loved and bring her back to her glory. 🇮🇹🍷❣️
Thank you. ❤️❤️❤️🤗🙏
It’s a pleasure Connie. 🤗🙏❤️
I love the lime paint. It's not that yellow paint. It's gorgeous. My goodness, Nick. That ballroom would be my bedroom. You're house is so special. I'm happy for you.
You are so welcome. 🥰 Thank you. Best wishes, Nick.
My hubby is an architect and I’m an artist/ metalsmith… this is right down our alley!!! Love your videos!!
If you’re ever in Italy come over and I’ll happily give you both a tour. ❤️🙏😊
Nick, Nick, Nick and Victoria thank you for the fabulous tour. I love your enthusiasm for your very daunting home. Please keep us updated as you restore all of it. And when you have time I would love to see the garden close up.
We will. 🤗🙏
Very kind message Liz, thank you so much. 🤗🙏❤️
