    When hot it should be at the top line. Hot being 190 - 200 degrees.

    Thanks man. Great vid. I couldn't figure out where the "full" on the stick is. Everything on the web says "full" mark😡 lol. Thanks again

    My 2017 5.0 6 speed is doing same exact thing. Feels like a rumble strip now and then. Only when in 5/6 gear and lugging it. Have you solved the problem? What was it? Very interested. Please let me know. Thanks.

    hey quick question, on my 2017 5.0 v8 with the 10 speed tranny im getting a weird noise upon acceleration, it really only starts to happen after the truck has been running and driving for a little while. it doesn't happen every acceleration and usually only happens on rapid acceleration. its just for a second at the beginning and I guess i would describe the noise as a little bit higher pitched? maybe a little bit metal sounding? unsure, but its loud and is clearly not right. was thinking maybe it had to do wit the IWE? any info helps thanks

      So I have this issue now, and it's my exhuast manifolds. I have some broken studs. Sounds like chipping? Like crickets?

      does it cause it to almost have a temporary loss of power during that short sound for you? im not even sure if thats the case with mine because it doesn't do it all the time for me to really hear the sound and diagnose, it only happens like once or twice a day.

      @reality5480 no issues with loss of power. My next guess would be the IWE. Check the solenoid valve and see if it's holding vacuum

      @@BreakdownswithBrian yeah I just got the kit in today to test it. Im not really even sure im losing power, I think I maybe just took my foot off the pedal cause the noise is intimidating every time. its hard to say until it happens again so i can make sure to pay attention. I was thinking it wasnt the IWE just because I saw someone saying if you switch to 4wd it will stop the noise? and Ive heard the noise in 4wd before. And the videos of IWE noises I heard didnt really sound like mine. Definitely will still check

    They want you to pay them to work on it and the techs will have it in a lift so its easy to work on. For THEM not you, of course.

    Put a proper dipstick on vehicles for Christ sake.

      I get it, but atleast they have one on it. Most vehicles now a days dont.

    Dear transmission engineers. You are a holes. Why would you go from using a traditional dipstick and fill tube you can access from under the hood on older transmissions to this ridiculously inconvenient and dangerous dipstick you have to crawl underneath and contort your arms around hot exhaust pipes to access??? Make it make sense!!

    • @BreakdownswithBrian
      @BreakdownswithBrian  5 місяців тому +1

      Right. Most newer vehicles don't even have a dipstick. Thanks for watching

      A drain plug would be too much to ask???

      I get it. But you do have to change the filter, though.
