Great channel keep grinding new support here 🛎🛎🚀🚀
Thanks so much! 😊😊 welcome!
Does the etching have to be on glass, or can you do the etching on a ceramic pot, for example?
If you have a glossy ceramic pot you can etch on that yes :)
Can one use any kind of vinyl for etching? I have grafitack 100, would I be able to use this? 🙂
I would definitely test it out, it should work - I havent personally tried it yet. As long as it is properly tacked down I dont see why not :)
Hi. I've bought etching vinyl and all I seem to do it rip it to shreds! Can't find anything on cutting the vinyl on a Cricut Maker and the supplier said they don't give recommendations on cutting as every machine is different. Have you got any tutorials on this or do you know of any? All I'm doing is wasting material and time and it's bugging me BIG TIME! Cheers
Hi Alley! Im actually in the process of working on a tutorial on getting the right cut setting :) For etching vinyl though I would probably work on the permanent vinyl setting, and adjust as necessary - increasing the pressure if its not cutting through, decreasing the pressure if you are cutting through the backing sheet
