@@northdakoda it is a real shame, there is plenty of other things to do with Vision Pro and there is still Vroom which is a F1 app but unsure if F1 has asked them to stop.
If F1 FIA was smart, they would buy Laps and revamp it or license F1 TV to them. But hopefully F1 creates a new app while I save up for a Apple vision in the meantime.
@@F1Simulated obviously non of us know what F1 have planned for immersive media but it would be very disappointing if it’s not as good as Lapz if they do ever launch anything. Lapz really proved it’s possible to make a killer sports app.
I just got my Vision Pro delivered today and Lapz was of the main reasons I pulled the trigger. Very disappointed to hear the news. I really like it so far though. I just need to find a way to lessen the pressure off my face. Great vid tho mate:
@@randycrank7330 thank you, really appreciate you taking the time to watch. I would definitely recommend Annapro A2 if you can get hold of one. It’s a game changer for pressure
I guess you could say that but you know there are iPad and iPhone apps that do the same thing but non spatially and they haven’t been asked to stop which feels very harsh. It also directed paying subscribers to F1 and Lapz didn’t make any money out of that. Such a shame. I’m very excited for you to get your Vision Pro! You need to watch the Open Hearts immersive video straight away
After a week of use I would say it’s similar in comfort to the dual loop band for facial pressure so I would wait and try that first, maybe once you know what official band works for you think of Belkin or Annapro is the way to go. I’m sticking to Annapro a2 as I can wear the AVP with and without light seal.
@ more than bright enough and with Annapro it’s secured by the solo knit band at the back of your head and forehand strap. So no weight is held by the body of the Vision Pro on your nose, but with the Belkin strap it would basically be hovering on the top of your head with minimal feeling of security. Definitely feels like it could fall off.
@@HowardPrice me too! Is it greed or is it rightholder conflict. We just don’t know, but a team of people at Lapz who has spent time and money have to find a new thing because of this.
We should take these takedowns as an indication that the big players are more interested in the platform. Hopefully, we will see some movement after the lull.
@@NeilLavitt I hope they actually have something of their own to launch if Lapz isn’t allowed to but you have to feel for the team and if I’m honest if F1 don’t do anything soon, why stop an app that wasn’t profiting and was actually directing new Subs to F1TV
@ it’s probably all tied up in the legitious intricacies of their API and branding. Profiteering through another’s service. Where does it end. It would have been great if they had just bought the company.
@ it wouldn’t surprise me. Likely that one of their big sponsors like Lenovo or another tech brand has the XR rights to any application made for headsets.
Lapz was the only reason I was considering buying an AVP this holiday season. Guess not anymore lol

Wearing without light seal sounds scary but I guess the screens are bright enough yeah.

@@AVisionexperiment and these companies wonder why piracy still exists. They probably also wonder why the EU bans these practices.
