American Muscle Cars in Europe (The Netherlands, Belgium & Germany)
Вставка
- Опубліковано 29 вер 2024
- Over the past few years I've noticed that many Americans do not realize that US cars aren't that common in European countries. Cars like the Mustang, the Corvette, Camaro, Challenger, Charger etc are considered 'exotics' over here. People living in America may find these cars 'not so special' (average), whereas people in Europe don't see cars like that on a daily basis.
This compilation features many different types of American muscle cars, pony cars, sports cars, and classics that I have filmed at Dutch car shows/meetings. Most of these cars are registered on Dutch, German of Belgian license plates.
So cool that our European brothers appreciate our cars in similar ways we do theirs.
I think you can fairly say that...
Except in Europe they pay $7.50-8.50 per gallon haha
Well said
@@MrHustleSwagthat doesn’t really change them appreciating American cars

Danke für die Luxuslimousinen 😁. E550 4matic.
Please do we love our muscles 💪
Love from 🇺🇲 to 🇩🇪 for the MKV Jetta I'll take good care of mine.
The fact people cover their ears whenever an American car goes full throttle just makes me proud.
I can see why the raw power and attitude of American cars can be appealing to Europeans.
The only reason you see that is because you are ignorant arrogant and never been anywhere European cars are superior including power to domestic cars in every way. they are even selling here in America more than American cars are! too blind to see that right?
I always thought Europeans hated our cars because they are big, loud and have bad emissions. Glad to see thats not the case for everyone!
In the US we like and enjoy European and Japanese cars a great deal as well.
I’m america all the European brand clothes are top dollar. Where we get the Levi’s, True Religion, Tommy Hilfiger for cheap/decent price. Those brands are marked up like crazy over seas & Vice versa
Hello from the UK!
I have a euro-spec 2013 Camaro SS, which has the better rear lights!
I love the car and use it as a daily driver, but find Mustang drivers never acknowledge me.
It has a brilliant design, and is totally reliable in nearly five years.
I don't do boring Toyotas!
How much does it cost to have them shipped across the pond?
@@shawnhorning2125
It depends on time of year, whether you have a separate container(or share), which port it ship's from, etc.
There are imported cars in EU, so why not check them out?
Don’t worry about the Mustang drivers. The Ford/Chevy muscle car wars has no borders I see. 😂 It’s been that way in the USA for 50 years. Even though drivers have changed sides often. It’s a ridiculous American thing. Kind of like Xbox vs PlayStation 🤣
an amazing sight to watch our cars be admired over there
That black monster at 12:30 Dodge Charger was one of the sickest old schools on this video. The 69 Camaro and the Eleanor Shelby was nice to.
Crazy how European sports cars in America are exotics to us, and American muscle cars in Europe are exotics to them! I'm glad to see that they love some good ole American muscle, though! As far as cars, that's all America is good for is muscle! Europe is good for building quality and tech! American muscle has not caught up with the tech in our cars. The new Cadillac V models are probably the closest America will ever get to having a pure muscle car with tech, too! America is known to put all the energy into the motor and not the interior. That's why Americans love Mercedes so much! With Mercedes AMG, you can get pure power with all the tech that you can have in a car. It's to the point that it's overwhelming! The average American with a Mercedes doesn't know half of what the car does, bcuz it's so much tech in it, lol! Nonetheless, both America and Europe, both appreciate each other's cars!
It’s nice to see that y’all like our cars and take care of them over there. There were so many beautiful cars in this clip. Thanks for sharing ! Have a great day !
Love to see the spread of FREEDOM!
The bald eagles go all around the world!
Yaay, Trump! HE.... he... f*ck
How would you know what a freedom is when you never been anywhere? how is that a spread of freedom? Europe is more free than we are here. ignorant arrogant.
Ich liebe diesen V8 Sound. Danke fürs Video
God Bless the guy driving the General Lee
14:00 I've gotten pulled over by these Charger police cars a few times. That car is appropriate for the job. It has a menacing look in the rear view mirror to match the "Oh shit" reaction when he turns his lights on.
Man you guys take very good care of the cars over there it looks like. Great to see them being enjoyed.

And makes the car in front pull over 😂

Lucky to get to see these cars everyday in public 🇺🇸🇺🇸
It's so nice of Americans to give the Europeans a glimpse of freedom every once in a while.
Love the Challenger at 10:20🤤
Alot of nice mopars....love em all tho
If I ever win the lottery I'm taking an 85 Buick Grand National to Europe to see the sights. Beautiful American cars that cost 1/10th what a Lamborghini costs getting more looks and reactions than any Lamborghini or Ferrari really makes me proud to be an American!!!! I wish i could have some american muscle here in nz, the best we have is holden commodores and ford falcon
Hell yeah a shelby cobra
no mustang fox body? shame
For some odd reason the foxbody Mustangs are very rare here in Europe. I've only seen like one or two over the last 3 years :(
ok thanks
Lars Mars Cars are they more expensive over there?
@@bryanzecchin9380 Yes, basically all American muscle cars and sports cars (Mustang, Corvette, Challenger etc.) are significantly more expensive here in The Netherlands. :(
Lars Mars Cars just like for us bmws, audi’s, and others are expensive over here.. you could get a decent fox body over here for 3-4 grand
If I lived in Europe or the UK... American Made would be the only way to go.. I think I have a idea!!!

Nah that's a Dutch classic plate.
How rare is seeing an american-made muscle or sports car over there? Especially some older ones like the second and third generation firebirds?
Never seen a third gen Firebird here :/ Now there are a couple second gen Firebirds in my area, but not many. Most American cars here are the newer ones, like the new gen Challengers and Mustangs etc.
@@LarsMarsCars there's a 4th gen green trans am in Wiesbaden that looks really nice
I live in Switzerland and American cars are quite rare in general especially older models extremly rare.
Do you ever see Americans pick up trucks over there like old body style chevy Silverados?
Rarely. However, there are a lot of new trucks like the new gen. Dodge Ram and Ford F150.

Almost every European person I know that has moved to the US, they always want to buy a V8. I have six European friends that I work with and they all said when they moved to the US the first car they bought was a V8 because you don't see many V8 in Europe because of fuel prices so they really wanted to drive a V8. Four of the European co workers own a Ford F-150 and two own Dodge Chargers SRT, they just love the sound of the V8's.
Aviation Nut I‘m german in Germany and I only drive V8s
V8s are mostly badass no matter where they from
And I’m Californian budgeting on gas haha since it’s the highest in any States. CA gas tax is all bullshit.
Lots of executive class and gt cars have V8's. We have common sedans with over 600hp compared to a Mercedes' 400.

I really wasnt expecting a srt10 dodge ram
Hemi RAMs are really popular by certain people in Germany and Netherlands. They had over 1,000 trucks gather at the Nurburgring a couple of years ago, there is a pretty good UA-cam vid of it. Also, some of the support trucks at the Ring are RAM trucks.
Yeah, we don't even drive those in the US because of the gas mileage.
@Black Dad it's funny because the states used to have massive cars everywhere. Yet you have small roads
Umm maybe in your city
American cars done right in Europe. Sweet video!
The care that these cars are given is amazing. They found a good home over there. Someone had an old Dodge Challenger. That was my favorite.
I just want a hellcat red eye widebody, I want to take it to Europe, and I want to put smiles on people's faces with it and tour
Growing up in California as a kid, we use to place clothes pins to attach playing cards on our bicycle spokes to make loud noises.😂
I did that with soda cans, bending them over the bike tire. Did it so much until I bent the can just a little to hard and it split and cut my thumb. 🤧
Omg ur soo unique 🙄
I live in Greece, and from my experience, Ferraris are more than twice as common than US muscle here

if american muscle cars are considered exotics and expensive over there are European supercars like ferrari or lamborghini affordable and common to see in europe? In usa many of these muscle cars are reasonably priced and affordable to the average working class person. However in usa only very rich people can afford a ferrari or lambo as they typically cost almost as much as a house lol.
More common, yes, but affordable not really. Lambos, McLarens, Ferraris etc are still quite expensive here in Europe. However, there are quite a lot of cars like the BMW M3 ,M5, Mercedes C63 AMG on the roads here. On average I see more Ferraris and AMGs than Corvettes or Challengers, for example
Gotcha, So basically in the USA buying a corvette, camaro, or mustang is closer to buying a bmw m3 as far as price is concerned, they were never meant to be supercars they were meant to be affordable sports cars with good performance that regular working class people could actually afford to purchase. We got bmw's, amg's, and audi's here in the usa but they just aren't as popular as the muscle cars are people want the feel and sound of the big v8 engine. Mercedes have terrible resale value and lot of them end up in the junkyard, bmw and audi are usually just driven by people who want a luxury car or used as import tuner type cars especially the bmw's guys buy cheap manual ones and use them for drift missiles. Overall though in the USA more people drive american or japanese cars than european ones.
check out 1320 video on youtube if you want to see what these american v8 cars are really capable of when modified and tuned with turbo's, superchargers, and nitrous and such. After riding in a 700-1000hp twin turbo mustang or camaro expensive exotic "supercars" like a Ferrari or lambo just aren't that impressive anymore.
bdan 1324 I know right! I am actually a huge 1320video fan. I love that channel. They always have the best footage of quarter mile and half mile races. And yea, you're right; stock supercars are not that impressive compared to those twin turbo Vipers, 2000hp Corvettes etc (when it comes to racing in a straight line)
Are bmw m3, m4 cheaper affordable muscle cars for you in Europe? I know over here American Muscle is very cheap compared to the BMW M3 and M4.
They’re probably like “wot a fok m8 I almost spilled me tea!”
Bought a 2019 Charger Scat (all black) in Germany. Took it to German Race Wars, and had a dude from Lithuania ask if he could ride with me down the 1/4 mile. He seemed to like it. but not like OMG, that was the best. Took his GF the next run, and she spilled the beans. He was a huge Challenger fan, joined several MOPAR blogs, and was saving to buy one. Left them with some pics with my car and smiles on their faces. My car club would do cruses through Germany. When we would stop at rest areas, people would migrate from the super/hyper cars over to our group.
From my own experience driving my Mustang in the Netherlands: people look and take pictures all the time.
Cause its a nice caaaar
Becouse it’s the most baddass car ever made!
Few years ago during prom night in the Netherlands me and my friends went in a 2010 straight piped Camaro (sitting in the back seat sucks when over 1.80cm). the whole parking lot was filled with expensive cars and classic old timers and the only dude that looked like a professional photographer must have made about 50 photos of that Camaro and only 1 of the other cars each.
9:35 "hahaha it tickled"
4:40 Thats one bad mother fuicker, would look good here in Texas, but I bet its a real head turner in Europe. Man, I love it.. Super Bee's are hard to find these days...

A ton of stock hellcats. Nice
there are like 2 Hellcats in the video, and 100+ other cars, but okay

Well they can exactly mod the car (to my knowledge)
German drivers take control of the mustang well! No crowd killers! Very nice!
Wow! Thanks for supporting American cars!
So that’s we’re all the chevelles and classic muscle have gone, no wonder I can’t find any here in America!?
I guess having American police mustangs in Europe isn't illegal since nobody in Europe has to pull over for an American police car. That would be highly illegal in the states.
@A true petrol-head I was saying that if you had a car that looked like a police car and you aren't actually police, you could get arrested in the states for impersonating a police officer. Idk if a law like that exists in Europe, but American police cars don't look like European police cars so the law doesn't apply in that case.
@@RiceGrainz as far as I know every European country has that same law for obvious reasons. You can't for example drive an American cop car with blue lights. As far as 'police' stickers are concerned I suppose different countries have different laws.
Around my town in the Netherlands there was a Dutch licensed car who was turned into a German police car. Was obviously no real police car, so there was no problem unless he would go on a holiday in Germany 😂
We want our cars back lol
Krystle V no. We love them here
A true petrol-head, she's jokinh
Oooh you're on of those girls who dont know shit
I'd say its fair that they take a lot of our muscle cars since a lot of americans are taking a lot of jdm legends out of japan and keeping vintage ferraris and porsches out of italy and germany, so i think its more than fair for them to be importing american muscle at they rate they are
How did this thread get “WHY SO SERIOUS?!”
You guy's must really love corvettes. How much are they over there used if you can find one? A c6 here thats a older model is like 15k. There pretty cheap here.
AstroMagic you can get a base model (6.0) C6 Corvette here for like 35-40k. A C6 Z06 (in good condition) will cost somewhere around 50-60k €
1:22 the 67’ Chevelle was my favorite of this show. Fuck!, It makes me want to build one.
Beautiful cars in immaculate condition far from home. It's obvious how much the Netherlanders care about these cars and it makes my heart swell. ❤❤ from America
So you’re telling me, my hellcat is a foreign exotic in England BAHAHA
As an American I can remember driving most of these cars when I was a teenager in the '70s. Most of my friends had one too and let me drive theirs. We didn't have much money but you could pick up a used one in excellent condition for $500 back then (10 years old depreciation value), since most of them were $3K-$4K new. Now we wish we had those cars back again at what they're worth today.
I thought they had to take the SS badge off the Chevelle in Germany
Lol
Great camera work

God those challengers are so badass 😍😍😭
One thing Europe is lucky not to have is the clapped out truck dudes with there Squatted Tahoe’s on rubber bands
why the hell is Europe so freaking strict about the front license plate, it ruins the look of the car
Taser Face yea it sucks :(
Taser Face you forgot to mention the performance too

A true petrol-head thanks for the information homie
Maryland too. Nothing is more aerodynamic than a flat slab on the front of the car.
Good to see American engineering being admired in Europe. Usually its Ferrari or Lambo fanboys who are all about speed. We Americans just like to cruise and sound badass while doing it
i personally prefer JDM cars and the whole mod community it has to offer in the US but I'll always smile like a child whenever a loud muscle car comes around. Crazy how I see these types of cars on a daily basis but to these people its something out of the ordinary
It's so odd to me, I'm completely fine with seeing anything from Mercedes Benz, BMW, Opel, and even Saab in the US and in other countries. Though when I see USDM anywhere else in the world I go "huuuuuuh????" for a second before I realize; "Oh yeah right... we export too." (Not an insult, I just find it strange for some reason.

Not to mention the police variant Dodge Charger!

I can relate to this as an American, when we see cars that have never been sold here, on our roads. It's always super cool to see.
And nobody is crashing their $hit.
Is it rare to see American sport cars in Europe? (Classic and modern)
Wait nevermind just read the description.
ELA DC5 It‘s rare because our own cars are very cheap. American brands don‘t sell their cars officially here so there are a lot of import fees to pay.
Well in Cities you see Mustangs every now and then but in the coutrysides they are rare
