I can't believe I've never heard of this before. I knew Chris Bowersock when I worked in Eastlake. He was the right guy to play this part. He is extremely charming and personable. He caught a lot of crooks before he retired.

Dr. Grande, beginning his story by mentioning the woman's name: "Christine Metter.." My brain, too tired to grasp the context of names: "Christine met her..? Who did she meet?" 😂😅
I don’t really buy the idea that her father was manipulated. After all, he had far more life experience and had worked in law enforcement. He knew that people almost always tell their story in way where they are the blameless hero and 100% the “good guy”. He knew or should have known that her story was not so simple as “my evil ex is destroying my life for no reason.” I think he was the vengeful violent type. The sort of man who played the role of the hero but actually has far less noble intent. These men often find their way into law enforcement professions. Whereas most police, military, or security professionals are motivated by a desire to protect and serve, some are there because they can use power to hurt others and still receive the praise of society. They sign up not to serve but blend in.
That is a strange father/daughter relationship! The film Double Indemnity is awesome, LOVE IT! Interestingly, Patrick could have just told them no and there is a chance they would have given up on the idea...
I think it is smart he actually just go to the police. Usually people who can think of murder and had start making move won't easily sway away. Patrick could also fear he might be in the hit list for refusing them. I think he can see how unhinged they are.
Hi , a few weeks ago i had asked if you could do the James Bulger case and somebody else told me you had already covered the case . I spent a long time going over all your old vids and found a different James Bulger than the one i was talking about . The one i would like you to cover is from Liverpool , UK . thank you
Doctor, you are the most entertaining, hilarious, soothing voiced individual I have ever seen. I think you're slowly becoming my fave youtuber. You are so quick to upload. The quality of your work online speaks volumes. You are just the best in my book. I truly thank you for the videos and now I want to go to your Patreon. I wish I had a lot more to give! 💳
Granted police officers are not always law abiding but her father spent an entire career being a police office and was ok with a plot to murder her ex? Maybe this shouldn’t shock me but it does. Then he spends the last 5 years of his life in jail. I hope that alone haunts her the rest of her life….
@13:18 This what I mean when I say there seems to be an illusion of free will and no actual free will. Nobody would choose to be this gullible. Thanks for the upload during my September 2023 birthday weekend! I just got back from having a Dragon Roll and A3 Wagyu Nigiri sushi for an early birthday lunch from a couple of family friends!
When will they realize these hired hitman do not work? That reminds me of the Dalia woman from Florida, what ever happened to her? Can we get an update Dr. G?
How unusual to have a father and daughter conspiring to commit a crime. Her father was certainly manipulated by her. Horrible case. Thank you for the review, Dr. Grande. I hope you have a great weekend.❤
The father would not have known about Christina’s extreme anger toward David unless she told him. He took it upon himself to try and have David killed and he should not have. Still I don’t think he’d have gone that far without Christina provoking him. Maybe I’m wrong. Any thoughts?
Ugh, that’s one of case of several cases that makes my blood boil. They even tried to have his mother taken out because she was granted custody, dumb family
Hey Dr. Grande. Could you please consider analyzing the case of Megan Imirowicz from Michigan some day? I'd be interested to hear your take & if you think this girl had enough punishment for the cruel death of her father.

And she’s out of jail, too. Since the girls are now a lot older at least one major motivation to get rid of him is no longer an issue.
I was thinking the same thing. How traumatic always having to look over your shoulder.
I agree. I prefer to have people tell me to my face that they want me killed. Don’t have to wonder about it then.

A hitman named Vinnie and a Dad named Al-seriously?

In the country I live in you can't move to a different region without the other parents consent if you have joint custody of the kids.

Patrick is a good man.😊 Al's behavior as well as his daughter's does not surprise me at all. Thank you Dr Grande❤excellent learning.
I wonder what's the logic in giving custody of only one child. Is it sensible to assume that the parent won't be negligent with the other kids?
Maybe because that was the child that kept running away which showed she wasn't adapting well to her parent's split and missing 30+ days of school.
