Josh, I heard you mention that you teach kids. Next episode you should expand on that topic and explain your system for teaching kids. I know that Keenan doesn’t believe drilling is as effective as going live. It would be nice to get his input on how to train a child in Jiu-Jitsu. And see wether he thinks it’s better to drill techniques in a kids class or to roll or to do something like positionals

You have almost 2 hours to express thoughts! Everyone gets better at not talking over each other. One of you will begin to let the other one finish and that will help the other see they are contributing to the problem. Keep a notepad and write down your bulletpoints while you let them finish, if you're afraid of not getting all your thoughts out. If you're just trying to suppress each other because you have bad chemistry, it won't get better. But you just started the show :)

Yo , I'm a comic ,and Josh is absolutely perfect. This is classic straight man vs funny man. You need to make sure he stays away from the comments , and keep his confidence up. He'll always get railroaded because he is the straight man, it's just how duos work. Thing is , there can't be a funny man without a straight. His response to this will probably be ," My confidence is always up, I don't care what people think." BUT HE DOES, he doesss care... It's what makes him the PERFECT straight man. You two can be the Opie and Anthony of BJJ. Keep doing what your doing fellas

I get cravings a lot for Jiu-Jits, and wrestling with another human in general especially if I'm not training often. It is comparable to a physical "addiction". It feels like a need that I must satisfy. Although it doesn't affect my life much, it's not like I try to wrestle strangers so it's healthy because it brings me back to training.

In my opinion the amount of techniques in BJJ combined with millions of fights configurations dependent on match-ups and rule sets, makes BJJ a limitless sport, one that will keep you entertained and curious for a lifetime... as opposed to kickboxing or muay thai. Eventually you simply get bored with with punching people as well as tired of getting punched yourself, and more aware (+ afraid) of the danger as you go deeper into striking.
