- The audio on the livestream was so badly corrupted from my internet connection I had to sh!tcan it. This is my attempt to make up for it and give you guys the important information presented. After the net we are now moving over to our Discord Server where we can have a real conversation about all kinds of topics.

The Southern Idaho Preparedness net meets every Saturday Morning 0900 hours on the K6UDA repeater in Twin Falls Idaho. WiresX Room 40448 (Idaho Command) or YSF reflector 56026 (UA-camrs). - Наука та технологія
Thanks for the recap! Information like this would have sounded like a dystopian novel a few years ago. Now it is our reality.
Yep. It's freakin nuts.
Thank you for the re-cap Bob . Texas is losing a lot of beef on the hoof too .
Thanks for the recap!
Thanks buddy appreciate what you are doing
Thank you!!
Excellent video.
William R Forstchen books are a necessary reading.
Possibly lab 257 plum island is a necessary book.
Hi Bob. I see the value in local RF nets as well as Wires-X while things are up and working, but when SHTF really hits the fan, the internet, cell service and the grid will most likely be down. When this happens, local nets on VHF/UHF can still happen, but will reach few people. In order to have a real SHTF, East Idaho net, we are going to have to have a HF 40/80 meter voice net using NVIS. I'd really like to see the addition of a HF net for Southern Idaho. Digital such as Winlink could also be added. I live in Ashton Idaho so being a part of a Twin Falls net is not going to happen for me as well as others outside of your area. Maybe you could work on establishing a weekly or bi-weekly HF net that would cover Idaho and into northern Utah and Nevada. I have thought about starting such a HF net, but I'm a City Councilman and the CERT Commandeer for the county. In SHTF, my plate is going to be rather full and I don't have the social media reach you have for setting up a regional HF net. Getting people interested and actually on the air practicing HF in advance will be key in actual SHTF. Having a comms plan set up in advance is key. Once the balloon goes up, it's too late. Just my 2 cents. 73 my friend !
Yeah, I completely agree. I chose to start this net on my repeater because I can dictate what happens here. I’d love to see an HF prepper net spring up and take off in popularity. I just can’t commit the time to do it.

'Maybe someone in the group would have the time and resources to start a net and you could promote it.
@@johnkaelberer237I'd definitely promote it. That's what I've been hoping for for a long while.
Audio perfect on this video.
Thanks.

It is what it is.
Does your net start a 0900 local time? I'd like to check in via YSF when I can. I'm in Tennessee in the EST zone. W4ISB
Yep. 0900 mountain
Bob, are you saying we are going to start having weekly HF 40 meter nets?
Sounds like a plan to me.
I am a disabled veteran also in southeast Idaho . Are there any groups or people as yourself that can help teach me about radio. I am in the Blackfoot area. I have a GMRS LICENSE AND PORTABLE REPEATER, BUT I NEED SOME GUIDANCE AND INSTRUCTIONS on how to proceed and set it all up.
I think there’s a group in Pocatello. I’m here too.
@@K6UDA thank you I will look at finding it. Or if at some point this summer you feel comfortable with it I could meet you and buy you lunch or dinner and we can talk.
Thank you Sir

Technical difficulties happen. I was working and missed it.
Thanks for doing this video Bob
How do you listen in via wires x?
