Luciano here is like 900HP V10 F1 Ferrari engine running at iddle speed. True gentleman❤
Can we just talk about how respectful of a duet partner Pavarotti is being? He's making sure the balance is right in the ensemble spots and matching her vibrato perfectly.
well spotted
What does this mean? Genuinely I apologize I’m not familiar with music technically
@@chano6555 He's singing quieter than he normally would to make sure he doesn't overpower her.
Ie. he’s trying to sing as flat as possible to not make her look bad.
@@graham6132 Nope...
Did everyone manage to forget that Sheryl Crow is a classically trained musician? 😊
Give her the respect she deserves.
Her voice is another tangent of her brilliant musicality. I know how to play guitar because of Sheryl Crow. I know the value of music because of Sheryl Crow. I know how to use my voice because of the one and only Sheryl Crow.
Icon. Trailblazer. Feminist. Bad ass. I love you Sheryl Crow ❤❤
Being in the theatre in Verona expecting a night of Turandot, once in a while, people in the audiance stood up and startet singing arias ... Getting rounds of applause. Opera is their! music, it is in the heart of the italian people ..
Pavarotti singing together with Sheryl Crow captures this perfectly ... The first time I listened to the recording I did not realize, who was singing. Now it is one of my favorite recordings of this Duett❤
I sang this duet 35 yrs ago and received a "Command Performance " rating. It is NOT easy!
So happy for you, well played👏
@@thombluesindigo7589 Well spoken.
What a gentleman!
Mozart is genius..
That was great job by both Pavarotti and Crow. But I want to give props to Freddie Mercury who commenced this fusion of pop and classical singers performing together.
Im humbled by Sheryl Crow singing opera!
Great job, Cheryl and Luciano!
This is very touching, and even beautiful in its own right.
OMG this is something I never thought I would see a country singer do opera ! breathtakingly brilliant. Incredible
He is the daddy of singing!
Pavarotti - di un altro pianeta!
This is my favorite performance I have ever listened to of this song . Both voices are so so beautiful and are so great together . It really touched my heart . I don’t often leave a comment but this performance realy deserved a thumbs up I wish I could sing like that . Hope to hear your voices for many many years more good luck on both as on all those great musicians 🙏🏻🫵👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
So much personality and spirit. Loved it.
Pavaritti is sublime! ❤❤❤
A chearful aria sung with passion
I give Sheryl alot of credit for venturing out of her comfort zone - it may be aesthetically weak but you can see she's genuinely invested in it
It was aesthetically weak? Lmao I enjoyed every second of it. Then again, I'm not that cultivated in Opera
Her italian accent is atrocious!
@@andonasdavid9653 Snob
She did a great job. As a rock artist she is an alto so she got out of her own range and style. And she sang it correctly if not perfectly....that is she did not scoop her notes etc, and otherwise apply pop techniques to this classical piece...she sang it as written. And memorized it?? It was a solid performance.
F A N T A S T I C
Something to Crow about. Wonderful performance both. What a voice Sheryl
Beautiful!
Damn Sheryl wasn't expecting this. She went in for a pop star..
She can do it all.
Pavarotti could have sung a duet with a motorbike and it would still have sounded sublime.
That is an insult to Sheryl Crow's great singing ! ! !
@@sergbustam No, it's simply a compliment to Pavarotti's unrivalled voice. But kudos to Sheryl Crow for stepping outside her normal genre.

It’s an open air concert, it is lovely, you thumbs downers!
I absolutely love this!!!
Bellissimo !!!!
WELL! Just when I thought she was the cat's meow, she pulls THIS off.
Was that Sheryl Crow? Kudos if it was and of course the master Pavarotti.
Bags of kudos to Sheryl Crow for doing this. People don't realize the breathing control and vocal cord power of an opera soprano. Though she might not have the power and control of, say, Cecilia Bartoli (also here on UA-cam), she has a beautifully sweet voice and a lovely and delicate appearance that is perfect for pretty young Zerlina. I really enjoyed it, and I suspect Luciano did too (the naughty boy!).
@@nicolaspachecoarango 🤨Por favor... Poor italian pronunciacion
@@francescomineo yes I wrote that comment months ago now her pronunciation kinda of annoys me.
I think that I used to like her pronunciation just becaused i appreciated a pop singer appreciating classical music even though she obviously wasn't prepared for that.
@@nicolaspachecoarango the last bars she invented words 😀
Bruh she literally had nothing right...
The sister of Russel crow is stunning.
I've fallin' in love again with this woman.
Che raffinatezza questo testo e questa musica... Là ci darem la mano....

Una sorpresa,Pavarotti e Mozart.
I discovered this very late and I am happy to be surprised by Sheryl Crow, she was great, very enjoyable listening her voice on that unusual melody. They both had a contagious big smile.
Beautiful
So good 😊
神に祝福された声の持ち主Pavarotti イタリアの抜けるような青空が似合う声はいつ聴いてもほれぼれする。惜しむのは、生前にライブで聴けなかったこと。
I can't understand why people have to be critical... Miserable bunch negative people...I'm sure the duet was for a bit of fun..

Beautifull beautifull, Gracie!
It is unusual to here lyric tenor singing baritone role. The great Pavarotti did it in his way, brilliant. Sheryl Crow, maestro Armiliato and amazing orchestra were also on this level.
He’s GREAT !!!
Why did they pair these two?
¡Terrorífico!

Luciano Pavarotti has also performed with Bryan Adams. The mixing of musical styles is not something extraordinary and testifies to Pavarotti's class.
Criticism is easy if you don't know what you're talking about.
Absolutely !

Zerlina's high notes before yielding and singing with the Don is one of the great moments of music. Not so much here.
I can't help but notice how natural Sheryl Crow's makeup+hairstyle are compared to today's stage performers....
Her body language indicates like WTF am I doing but I like her voice. 🙂

Omg her singing in this repertoire is so helpless it's cute 😂 it's like a listening to a child attempting doing some adult thing.
Not bad for a rockish pop singer. At least, she can show some voice education.
