Fight for Faye

An up and coming singer-songwriter from Sunderland says she has been overwhelmed by the support of the public since she was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive brain tumour.
Faye Fantarrow had been tipped as one to watch in 2023 by BBC Introducing and got her first record contract with Dave Stewart from The Eurythmics earlier this year when out of the blue, just 3 months ago, her world was turned upside down by cancer - for the third time.
She now needs to find four hundred and fifty thousand pounds for experimental treatment in America which could save her life.
Sharuna Sagar has been to meet the 20 year old who couldn’t be more grateful for the generosity of strangers.
