Love everything about your garden.
I thought the garden shed was nice before now it’s storybook perfection. Mark did such an amazing job. I have been wanting a pergola over my garage door fur a long time but too many other things that need to become first. The new old rabbit is wonderful. Love old statuary like that. I have lots of zinnia seeds that did not get planted because I was rebuilding back bed after it got destroyed by plumbers. It’s almost finished and I think I am going to go ahead and throw sine seeds down. I still have the rest of July, August, September and October to enjoy. So hoping to do this week. You are always such and inspiration. I love these long videos on UA-cam. Thanks for sharing!

In Texas ajuga spreads almost like a weed but it does need some shade. Laura the entire garden is just beautiful and again, Marc did a great job.I'm so excited to see a rose there. I love the daily updates. Welcome to the Duchess.She makes me think of Queen Victoria after she lost her beloved Albert. Very stoic.😂 Until next time.🧚♀️

The ajuga should do really well there. My ajuga gets lots of sun in some areas and they look great. They also look good in the shade. Love the pergola. My husband is always doing infrastructure in my garden for me. He loves it as much as I do. We stay home most of our days off and make our space better. Instead of spending our money and having nothing to show for it, we invested into our own yard so we can enjoy it everyday.

My ajuga not sure what the spelling LOL. its full sun and spreading really well and the flowers its so beautiful. Anyway love the pergola that you added. I have that build with my hubby. and I love it.

Thank you! I have to admit, I am shocked! A few years ago I couldn’t even keep them alive. The only change I made is not mulching heavily. And when I mulch I don’t put it up close and leave breathing room. I think the wet mulch was making them stay too soggy and drawing slugs before.

I’ve had my ornamental oregano overwinter the last couple years. It doesn’t get as full as initially, but I still love it. The pergola looks great! Can you tell me where you got your lanterns?
I think I need to try again. I think really I’ve not been patient enough and just thought it didn’t make it. I’ll try! 😃
The lanterns are off the shelf from Home Depot. Very affordable. I did buy little white drippy candle sleeves to go over the candles because I didn’t like that they had black metal candles. Just being extra picky. 🤣
@@HowsItGrowing yes, you should try! We’re not too far from each other so it would probably work for you. I usually throw leaves over things for winter and these are in a metal pot so I leave them outside.
Your garden is so lovely. And.....if you can grow geraniums in window boxes in full sun.....it's not hot😊. In texas we have ro grow them in shade and then they don't bloom.😢😢
Be careful - the only thing removed from pressure treated wood is arsenic, but it still contains pesticides which can be taken up by the plants according to recent study.
I know you painted it (which looks nice) but I wonder if that does the job?
We primed it, then 2 coats of white. I’m postive the roses will be ok. I mean we can be completely honest and realize paint in and of itself contains chemicals. Thank you for concern though. I’m always very careful about these things. I’d love to see the article if you have a link. I usually go by all garden resources online that are edu based. Thank you!

Paint does not contain pesticides like pressure treated wood does as far as I know, so I personally do not know if the coverage you did is enough because I have never bought pressure treated wood.
