This is my first time trying goldmaking and i have no comparison to see if my current realm is good or not for it (its a full pop non rp realm). My fear is that i'm spending hours farming in this realm while i could be elsewhere.

Yes! In previous expacs, most gold farms the first few weeks can easily make you 100k+ per hour, so every hour counts at the start of the expansion!
